"I AM TONI" Ticket Issues Explained by Producer

Saturday, January 14, 2023

Looks like January 20 is almost here and rumors are spreading about Toni Gonzaga's concert "ticket sales" are spreading, and this morning, one of the concert producers Joed Serrano released a statement.

The former actor and businessman says "As of January 13 friday at 4:45pm, The  I Am Toni  concert @ the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Jan 20, 2023 has already sold 55% of the tickets."

He adds "20% goes to the sponsors who pledged their support for their endorser toni gonzaga. Mommy Pinti ordered & paid 350 tickets for her friends, relatives and church mates who ordered from her. Me as one of the producers also reserved some 300 tickets for my friends who ordered from me instead of going to Ticketnet. These tickets are paid. Complimentary ones will only be given to family and close friends. I hope people discern politics and entertainment. As of this date, we still have about 15% of the tickets unsold. You can still buy your tickets & get a chance to watch this very controversial concert. It's a celebration of 20 years in showbusiness & the birthday of our dearest Toni Gonzaga. Let us all unite & be positive in life. Move on & be kind to all."

"Let us all give ourselves a chance to be good in this world. Smile, lessen negativity in life. If you don't have anything good to say , then might as well be quiet rather than be stressed. See you all on Jan. 20, 2023 friday 8pm at the Araneta coliseum."

It's definitely going to be a good time for all her fans and supporters to show up on her special day to re-live Toni Gonzaga's 20 years in the business. You may get tickets from concert producers and Ticketnet as it's still available online and at the Araneta box office.

RPDRPH Queens Brigiding, Vinas Deluxe, Precious Paula Nicole in Major Concert Feb 10

Monday, January 02, 2023

Brigiding, Precious Paula Nicole and Vinas Deluxe aka DIVINE DIVAS

Getting their rightful place in the spotlight are RuPaul Dragrace Philippines' brightest Brigiding, Misis ng Bayan Vinas Deluxe and 1st PH Dragrace Superstar Precious Paula Nicole. They're going to have their own concert entitled DIVINE DIVAS: The Ultimate Drag Experience which will happen on February 10, 2023 at the New Frontier Theater at Araneta City. This is produced by Nathan Studios (of the Ataydes) and Fire and Ice Live (the production company of Ice Seguerra and Liza Dino-Seguerra).

The same production houses have already worked on Ice Seguerra's concert called #BecomingIce which was very successful that it warranted another installment in Cebu on February 18th, at the Waterfront Hotel. We were also informed they will be doing a Davao leg and a tour of North America and some countries in the Middle East (in the near future).

Certainly, they've seen something special about these PH drag queens, and honestly, they've represented the country proud in the international stage. They are already talented individually, and seeing them perform together, was on another level. Here's a taste of what's in store for you IF you watch the show next month!

@kumagcow @brigiding_ Giving us a taste of their upcoming concert this February 10, The Ultimate Drag Experience DIVINE DIVAS #tiktokshowbizreporter #EntertainmentPH #rpdrph #rupaulsdragrace ♬ original sound - John Bueno

@kumagcow @precioussspaulanicole will have a concert with the DIVINE DIVAS Brigiding and Venus Deluxxe this February 10,.2023 at the New Frontier Theater #rupaulsdragrace #rpdrph #EntertainmentPH #tiktokshowbizreporter #lifestyle #blogger ♬ original sound - John Bueno

And this is just the tip of the iceberg, because during their interview, they divulged that they will have a different repertoire than what they are performing in the bars they've performed in. I personally asked what dreams they still have, and aside from the successful careers, they're putting up their own business too, to ultimately have their own bar where they don't just cater to the fabulous LGBTQIA+ scene, where everyone will be recognized as the talented people that they are - equals.

Make sure you get your tickets at ticketnet.com.ph as they might run out soon! This is just the start of having our queens be put on the world stage. Who knows, a show in other countries soon? From the looks of it, Ms. Sylvia Sanchez of Nathan Studios and Ice Seguerra of Fire and Ice Live were confident, they were left there still bickering about it (like family). Thank you for having us that afternoon! Can't wait to see the show!

ALDEN RICHARDS for Alden's Reality Concert

Saturday, November 21, 2020

Your boy and Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards is about to hold his virtual reality concert entitled "Alden's Reality", a one of a kind online concert where you'll feel you are there with him. I'm a little excited to see how this will pan out because the technology he's using is quite different.

During the blogcon this afternoon, Alden remarks "Yes I've been busy and  yes, I can't wait for December 8. It has nothing to do with my gaming, but I was planning to have a concert in Araneta this January and I thought about the safety of the people watching. I was a bit sad that won't push through, this wasn't in the plans but we didn't find any alternative way to show it to people while maintaining it to be in line with the safety protocols of the government. Of course, your safety is still our priority. We can't do mass gatherings, around March Direk Pao pitched this to me and GMA and they presented it to be a VR concert. Initially, I wasn't so sure about it but direk presented it very well, let's give it a shot! To highlight my 10 years in the industry, I would like to be part of this new technology and new experience as well. I told them, we'll take the risk... because I see it is very promising, so I'll see you on December 8. Direk didn't want me to just sit and do the show, I had to conceptualize, Direk wanted me to be part of it every step of the way. It felt like I had passion to do the production numbers, I felt I had to make it beautiful. (plays with Butchoy his dog)"

"Of course it is very difficult to do everything digital, but we have to produce concerts online. I already have done two concerts and this is very different, aside from the concept, the way we are doing it is not conventional. There are pre recorded contents of the concert and when I saw parts of it the other day, I felt given the current situation, there's a promising platform for concert goers even at the comforts of your home. It's difficult to not be in front of the people you are performing too, but we can't really do much for the safety of people. I just think of them, and the outcome of the performance is not half baked. It's my 10th year and it sparks a milestone for my career."

"Last stream I made was a charity stream for the victims of Typhoon Ulysses, we were able to raise around 200K from that and next week we'll prepare for that. I'm happy we were able to raise that much, my supporters are so good, I'd really like to thank the good people who are really so generous in donating for that cause. I want it to also be the one to prepare it all, my team at AR gaming, will deliver by next week. Tomorrow we will start repacking."

Direk Pao adds "The AR concept was a play on Alden's initials. Just so people don't get confused, we did some creative liberties, it is a show, a 360 degree thing. It was hard to conceptualize it as it is a different medium. This is one of the first things done like this in the country. Other Directors are helping me, everyone knows I'm a live director so with this thing, I sought help from veteran GMA directors. Christian gave me a call a few months ago telling me about the limited resources they have doing online content and it wasn't great, we had to improve this and get a really good platform so people can connect like in a live concert. We are giving an alternative, we had to figure out a way to present these to people stuck at home, to make it feel like Araneta, MOA, the other venues, it would be a nice break from sitting down on a laptop. The audience hopefully will like it."

Alden added "Everything that you will see in the concert will be what I went through in 10 years, the people I meet, that have given me unconditional love and support. My success can't be celebrated with me alone, it is always best shared, I offer this for the people who have supported me more than anything. This is also going to be a first, where I'll be releasing a single where I have to sing and dance, and this is one of my favorites. This new single is going to be just chill, but will be worth your time. I have my heart and mind in that, I never addressed the audience in general, I'll be talking to you when I'll be doing this concert. My single is a collab between Flip Music and GMA Music. I had to think if it is going to be in English and Tagalog, but really it sounded better in English. The title is "Going Crazy" and will be launched on the same date."

He adds "The first time I did something public was during Alakdana, I wasn't a good dancer then but I was a bit confident about singing, the Cebuanos were really very supportive and there's this unknown energy from the audience that felt I had to be at my best, that was a good experience. I have really come so far, before I had so many dreams, I had so many aspirations, because of the support and projects, the recognition, I wanted to go back to that Alden who was dreaming. It is a very different reality and I don't want to let go, it keeps me sane and my feet on the ground. I wouldn't be where I am today without that."

He thanked the Lord God, his Mom, myself for not giving up. He says "If I had let go of this back then I wouldn't be where I am right now, I owe this to people who have supported me all these years."

Alden says "It's on December 8, thank you and I'm very excited, this is a new experience we want to give you. Go get tickets on GMANetwork.com/synergy."

Tickets are still selling hot, almost sold out so if you haven't got a ticket yet, please do and see Alden on his concert.

Ticket2Me Launches New Ticketing and Video Platform

Saturday, August 01, 2020

My first encounter with Ticket2Me was about a little over 2 years ago when I watched a musical in PETA here in Quezon City. Back then, they were still in their infancy but I could tell they've handled online ticket sales quite nicely. It was fast, easy to use, and secure. I got my taste of shows and could get tickets mighty fast as soon as they're listed on the app and platforms.

As you might have guessed, they're bound to be heavily affected by the closures of entertainment areas and theatres as this pandemic didn't spare any business. True enough, they had to transform their business model, innovate to survive. It was in March 2020 wherein they started the lockdown period, and it earmarked efforts by Ticket2Me and their Founder/CEO Darwin Mariano to cooperate with the Kaya Natin! Movement for Good Governance and Ethical Leadership and find ways to aid the country’s health sector frontliners. They started a huge fundraising campaign and worked with the Office of Vice President Leni Robredo in the hopes of raising funds to supply personal protective equipment and food and care packages for these health workers. In just a span of a few days they got to raise millions surpassing their goal by a mile and got to help thousands of people and mobilize help where it's needed, a noble gesture indeed.

Ticket2Me then also started the Open House campaign which they did together with Artist Welfare Project, Philstage, SPIT MNL, Third World Improv and the Theater Actor’s Guild to benefit of the performing arts community which also got heavily affected by the COVID19 outbreak. It was one of 20 they did with different organizations including one for displaced film and performing arts professionals plus funds to build emergency quarantine facilities in Metro Manila, a tough hot spot for the dreaded virus.

Recently, they also catered to the demand of online events. Adapting to the new normal meant they also need to launch their own pay gated video platform so they can hold concerts, theatrical productions, workshops and more. They also launched Dok2Me, a patient-doctor platform so they too would be able to do online consultation. They will also start production of their own online series called Boys' Lockdown come this September.

With over 11,000 combined cash and online payment options throughout the country, Ticket2Me is achieving its goal to be one of the largest ticketing and events tech company. They can help you manage your transitions to online processes. Download it off the App Store or Google Play now or visit their site Ticket2Me.net to try it out and find more information about them.

Sounds good.

Wednesday, January 09, 2019

Been having a lot of dreams these days about it and I kinda miss Singapore already. It’s been years since I last step foot in the Merlion city. Apparently there’s a huge airline ticket sale happening at the Glorietta 2 Activity center, Trinoma Activity Center and Ayala Center Cebu’s The Gallery from January 11-13. They will do the same on January 12-13 at Seda Abreeza Davao, January 18 in Seda Capitol Central Bacolod and online until January 31 so if you’re raring to fly this 2019, this would be a good place to start.

GILAS PILIPINAS: FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament

Thursday, June 30, 2016

This is it! I can't wait! We've already won the rights to host the FIBA Olympi Qualifying Tournament this 2016 and we're raring to go where no Filipino has gone before (well we did in 1936 and the years thereafter) but it's been a while since we've actually had a basketball team on the world map. We've done the legwork, we've conquered huge teams and placed 1st Runner Up in FIBA Asia Qualifiers. We've beaten world ranked countries and taken Gilas Pilipinas out there, impressing even the best people in the industry... and this is our chance to bring back that glory we've been longing for.

They've already announced the final 12 players, and we've seen the exhibition games happen in other countries. As they all come home and be joined by the rest of the country, Gilas Pilipinas will attempt to win that single slot and overcome a lot of other countries to make it there.

Our first touch of eurasian country Turkey will happen on July 1 at 7PM. This is just a tune up game yet a great venue to gauge how we'll fare with other countries when it comes to the real thing on July 5-10, 2016. The other qualifiers will happen in cities like Turin, Italy and Belgrade, Serbia. The Philippines will be pit against France, New Zealand and whoever is going to rank top in those dates. Games will be at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City and it will be shown live on the happiest network in the country, TV5 with updates from Sports 5 PH too.

Gilas Pilipinas' Final 12 is composed of Jayson Castro, Ranidel de Ocampo, Troy Rosario, Ryan Reyes, Gabe Norwood Jeff Chan, June Mar Fajardo, Marc Pingris, Japeth Aguilar, Terrence Romeo, Andray Blatche and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. Unfortunately L.A. Tenorio and Calvin Abueva are out. This was announced by Tab Baldwin before their tune up game with China in Italy. The coach was adamant declaring it was because of numbers that they decided to choose the roster but I'm sure they were NOT short of HEART. Make sure you'll be there and purchase tickets at SM Tickets (https://smtickets.com/). Ticket prices go as much as Php 14,945 for VIP, Php 12,810 for Patron, Php 10,675 for Lower Box, Php 430 for Upper Box and Php 215 for General Admission (as seen on site).

Bring your hearts, let's all cheer behind Gilas Pilipinas and say "Laban Pilipinas! Puso!" (Fight Philippines! With all your heart!).

Tuesday, March 08, 2016

Our lovely interviewee today is the one and only Chinita Princess Kim Chiu who's having a concert entitled "Chinita Princess: The Funtasy Concert". This is in celebration of her 10th Anniversary in the industry and her birthday. She promises to fill up the Kia Theater in Cubao Quezon City on April 9, 2016 8PM and tickets will be available through Ticketnet Online. Ticket prices will be Php 4,240 for the VIP Section, Php 3,710 for Orchestra, Php 1,590 Loge and Php 1.060 for Balcony.

During the presscon Kim expresses how light this concert is going to be and admit's she's more of a performer, not much of a singer but she promises fans that people will enjoy the show from the start. The opening will be full blown and will have the GFORCE elements in it. There will also be cables, cranes, liftings, drops which you'll never expect in a Kim Chiu performance. She adds "I want to thank everyone who's here and I hope you get to watch it on April 9 because it's a special night for me. We sold out VIP tickets and we only have a few for the other areas. Thank you to my fans who still are supporting me all these years!"

Skyscanner Philippines

Thursday, January 30, 2014

We sat down with a couple of people from Skyscanner a few days ago. It was light and we had a few laughs. Well, we had a lot actually. This was like a very casual way of introducing to us Skyscanner. Have you heard of it?

If not, then let me explain how it works in lay mans terms. We travel locally and internationally now. Whenever you go to book a flight, we check each and every airline website in the Philippines and scrummage for the cheapest and most convenient flight. Now that's a little arduous right?

When you go to http://www.skyscanner.com.ph/, you just put in your flight origin, destination and the date you prefer... then it will get you results of ALL the airlines on its directory and give you results arranged to your preferred filters. I went and searched one for Dublin as I plan to go there late this year. Prices ranged from 53K to 200K. It also indicated the actual airline where the ticket is booked plus the airport stopovers I'd have to take if I bought it. It's like google for trips. Isn't that a life and time saver? Sometimes, it makes no sense why we have to go through all that when we can just do it in one website. Now, its easier, better and more convenient. Skyscanner's Ms. Janet Ranola showed us how the website and system works. Best of all, Skyscanner's free and we don't have to pay them extra premium for their services. Isn't that neat? You can also check what's the best time to purchase tickets because it analyzes data from previous years. Their operations are based in Europe and they've devised a system that's both secure and fool proof so you don't have to worry about anything since booking will be done via the airline's individual websites. Isn't that neat? Now you don't have to scan and write down things because it's all in one website. You can even book hotels and cars if the need arises. Now tell me, how cool is that?! :D

Skyscanner also announced the Philippine finalists for the Skyscanner Bloscars Travel Awards. They will be judging who comes as the best in the Philippines and battle it out with other bloggers from Asia Pacific. The winner will get to win thousands worth of travel credits with Skyscanner. They will also give away gadgets which includes a DSLR camera I heard. Now that's big. Let's see who will win that coveted prize!

For what its worth, Skyscanner rocks! Who wouldn't like saving thousands of pesos right? :)
