How to Take Perfect Summer Selfies with VIVO V5 Plus

This is an article I'm writing not with severe authority but merely tips that I've gathered over the years for one activity that Filipinos love so dearly, that's taking selfies! Oh no, don't tell me you haven't taken one a few days ago, because you've been doing it secretly I know (even if no one is looking!). So I'm gonna give you a few pointers on how to do it this summer! 

Take Photos with Enough Lighting

Take those shadows, those super dark places out of the equation. It makes your images dark (obviously) and your shots noisy, that's why you see those grainy stuff on it when you see the output. VIVO Remains at Top 5 Among Global Brands of Smartphones

According to the data, VIVO shipped up to 24.7 Million smartphones in the holidays which is a LOT considering they only had 12.1 Million during same quarter for 2015. From 38 Million shipped during 2015, they now have 77.3 Million smartphones sold in 2016, a whopping 103% increase in units sold which is outstanding by any standards. 

IDC also disclosed growth in shipments as the brand expanded in various Southeast Asian markets including the Philippines. They also noted how purchasing habits changed as consumers go for more affordable quality ones rather than old brands who concentrated on their premium lines.

VIVO Turns Over Donations To Habitat for Humanity Philippines

 Last February, Vivo Philippines started a campaign called VIVO Perfect Selfie Cup enjoining several celebrities to have their perfect selfie shots be liked and voted on by their fans and individuals, in a goal to equate them all to the number in pesos and be donated to their chosen charity as part of the company's CSR efforts. This was gladly joined by artists like Yeng Constantino, Erich Gonzales, Jessy Mendiola, Enchong Dee, Andrea Brillantes, Jane Oineza, Sue Ramirez, Miles Ocampo, Maris Racal, and Loisa Andallo and posted on the VIVO Philippines Instagram account while using their newest flagship phone the VIVO V5 Plus. The phone has the world's first 20-megapixel dual front camera which cannot be matched by other phone companies yet and they're raising the bar when taking selfies with these wonderful phones, I've seen the difference myself during their launch a couple months back.

VIVO V5 Plus Officially Launched in the Philippines

It's a great day to talk about one of the nicest phones out in the market, this is the VIVO V5 Plus. Wanting it to be the PERFECT SELFIE phone is a tall order and needing it to be at par with the world's best means it would need to beat 4 other brands but that seems to be believable. Concentrating on one of the features so to speak seems to be the key and with how they've understood that Filipinos love taking selfies (having been named SELFIE capital of the world) might actually get them there because by far, their new phone VIVO V5 Plus would do the job.

Endorsed by no less than NBA Superstar Steph Curry, this specialized phone promise that they would be able to take that perfect shot when you need to show off that gorgeous face of yours on point. A few days ago at SM Mall of Asia, they let us take a hands on look of this particular model. It's quite light, designed with more bevels than corners, and of course an unbelievable 20 MP + 8 MP Dual Front Camera (with an f 2.0 aperture so you could take in a LOT of light) that could make you love taking selfies all over again without worrying too much about noise in dark areas or even in parties.

The phone comes with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD which is around 1920x1080 pixels resolution plus Gorilla Glass 5 screen which is quite tough for what it's worth. It's dimensions are 152.6 x 74 x 7.3 mm and can fit snug on your pockets.

For me, what it basically sells is the selfie feature which you can take advantage for those Bokeh or blurry background shots. It has been also tried and tested by some of Manila's bloggers, influencers, celebrities and their endorsers. Speaking of which were also there!

James and Tony from BoybandPH was also there. We also had the chance to listen to the powerful belter KZ Tandingan, whom I personally love in her emotional songs particularly "Wag Ka Nang Umiyak" which moved people and perhaps on the verge of tears.
