Watsons World of Wellness 2019

I was in Cebu for a weekend and stayed in the Osmena area for a few days, but totally forgot about my medicine because I was frantic packing for this trip. I seldom do but I was so glad there was a Watsons branch right across the street where my hotel was so I whipped out my Watsons card and paid for the usual maintenance medicine I needed for 4 days.

Now if I only knew they had an event there too I would have covered this World of Wellness 2019 event by Watsons. This is a health symposium that Watsons does so Filipinos could have more knowledge on health and wellness.

Have you already gone to a 7-Eleven store and see these cute little kiosks on the side of the counter? Well it's not just there for display or loading prepaid cards for your phone, it actually does a LOT more. Do you remember that Everyday Rewards Card? They've re-branded and made it even better!

The Kiosk isn't just a place to reload your phones with lovely Smart Prepaid Cards, but this can also get you other e-pins, a place to pay for your bills, and add cash to your cards when you need to. You can download this app on the Google Play Store or the App Store today. It's got it's own bar code that you can easily register with so each time you go to a 7-Eleven store you can rack up rewards points and exchange it for merchandise available on the app. The kiosk is also an access point so if you're around the area you can use your free 70MB for wireless connection. If that's not enough, you can opt to transfer your points for credits in your wifi access so you can surf some more.

These are my current favorite products in 7-Eleven and I'm glad they can actually become reward points every Php 50 purchase. The fridge that houses most of the sandwiches, the Milk Tea and Wintermelon Tea that's pretty new, plus this thing called Go Long which is a giant version of Yakult. It's just some of the things I love from the store.

Now I had some friends with me during that small event we had at 7-Eleven so since I've got some points on my card, I sent them some points too so they can get rewards just like me. The app basically has a section where you can redeem it and it lists down some really good freebies which you can claim as soon as you open your app. Just show it to the counter and you'll get it when it's available. Aside from that, you can use these points to purchase products if you feel like you want to shop. There are tons of promos and free stuff they've given away and if you've got multiple cards, you can have them registered on the app and combine them all! That way you don't have to really bring your cards along and just have the barcode on the app scanned by the friendly 7-Eleven staff on your phone if you're purchasing from them. Insurgent on SM Megamall's IMAX

I've watched the prequel and loved every bit of it. It was praised but wasn't marketed enough in the Philippines so there were only a few guys in my circle that was able to catch it. It would be unfair to compare it with The Hungergames franchise because I think it's an entirely different story. The switching to and from dream modes when they get tested is something I'd probably wait for in this installment as I've seen parts of it on the trailer.

The movie (this sequel) seems to lack sense in some of the scenes and there's a large mis-use on some of the greater stars who ended up just sitting it out in this franchise. Oh and if they were somehow attempting to even score it nearer the Twighlight movie, it ain't going to work because of the story's format. They're out from the caste system to live in the outskirts and stay with farmers, yet later on the testing continued with technological advancements even 3 days after a war. Seeing the other people from other sectors not being up in arms made it nonsense too because it all seemed safe, fine and dandy being there.

His role is pivotal, watch out for what he'll end up doing during the tests. (Screenies are not mine. Credit to owners.)

The love angles and how bitter some of it ended up had us thinking how a truth serum didn't even spark a revenge with one of the bestfriends of your heroine. They didn't get me at the edge of my seat like the first Divergent franchise that much but seeing it in IMAX somehow made the experience a lot better. It would probably feel weird if watched this in a regular theater, or less spectacular. I don't know if you would get satisfied with the swashbuckling, jumping, and fight sequenced content but they are attempting to do that a few times while they were being subdued by the Erodite loyal Dauntless, their trainor, or what's left of it. 

You'll hate Kate Winslet even more because after three days from the ending of the Divergent story, she seemed to have done a Ferdinand Marcos martial law kind of thing forcing the board to be in a situation where she can do all sorts of laboratory work just to open a box that she thought would reveal Divergents are the ones causing this pain in their society.

I don't want to spoil the movie for you, but if you would ask me if this is worth watching... DEFINITELY especially if you loved the first movie. I think they're a little bit unfair in some of the movie reviews and flak they're getting on other sites. I can even say I liked it a lot when I almost hated it because the reviews got me into that mindset. Give it a chance to convince you that it had the story done on point. After all, this is fiction. I'd give this 4/5 rating. Though never ever attempt to watch this in regular movie theaters, try the 2D or IMAX version in SM Megamall because it's way better seen with depth. Aside from that, get perks done the right way with the new EPLUS Entertainment Card so you can get freebies, discounts and unbelievable perks watching movies. Red Fox : Truly Redefining Innovation

Red Fox has been known nationwide as the premier affordable brand for desktops, laptops, computing machines and accessories. We took an afternoon to take a look at some of the best items they have in store and check out what they have been doing these past few months. A few products have also been released in the Philippine market. It's one of the things I was excited about whilst visiting their Innovative Technologies Center in Quezon City.

Since the 80's Red Fox has continually made efforts to put out its brand and technologies in very affordable rates. With their corporation concentrating in the early years in manufacturing and research for boards - computer peripherals they made necessary production systems that have high standards but made each of the quite cost effective. Just take a look at the AMD Main Board lines they have and you'll know why they've been number one since early 2000. Do you remember the Red Fox Vengeance? It was one of the noted gaming PC's in the past that was successfully launched by the same company. Computer shops were obsessed with these and the AMD processors that it came with. Graphics wise, it performed quite well with others in the mainstream market. They won numerous awards and garnered high acclaim here and abroad.

Today, they are steadily penetrating the market with new releases like the Red Fox Wizbook, Optima, Vengeance EVO (second generation Vengeance) and the Wizpad (which uses Windows7). The WizPad looks very promising. Imagine running several software applications 0n this tablet since you can easily do it on Windows7. It also can boot up on Android as an option too. I'll get you in on the details when I do my review for this ingenious competitor for the tablet market. Watch out for that!

AMD Processors

They gave us a short peek at the new products from AMD. The best retail gaming and entertainment processor impressed us with better memory switching technologies and its utilization of discreet GPU. It's something never even thought of being used in the past but now they will be releasing more models that can make this work through AMD Dual Graphics technology. GPU is utilized so that the processing speed would be pumped up to almost 120%. Just think about overclocking... ooh that and your gaming addiction, this is bliss!

If you are ready for a high-definition gaming experience, do it with AMD Radeon HD 6870 graphics processors.

By the first week of October they will launch 6 and 8 core processors. That's something to look forward to in their AMD Client PC platforms. AMD FX is the only 8 core CPU processor available in the Philippines. It is the only one that can support the directx11 enabled graphics card. AMD btw is also being used by its competitors but they just don't disclose it on manufactured laptops and desktops. If the GPU is significantly good for them to even use it, you should get the obvious. So the next time you think about boards and processors to use, make sure it's AMD.

Gigabyte Motherboards, 8 phase power VRM design with Dual Power Switching Technology. Tech geeks just drooled on this one. I'd like to test this out soon.

Watch out on this site reviews about the WIZPad and other Red Fox Devices. This is going to be good. We're gonna pit this together with the performance of the IPAD2 and tell you how it fares.
