Game Over! Here's Buddha-Bar Manila!

Saturday, March 09, 2013

IMG_0967

Three floors of exquisite and posh interiors. Source of entertainment, parties and all things nice of which you would only dream of. This is world renowned BUDDHA BAR.

Known as the place where Hollywood stars, European celebrities and everyone who's anyone converge. If you need to relax, unwind and have heavenly food whilst chatting with friends and family, then this is the place to be. It's also the biggest branch compared to the others around the world so just imagine how this massive posh place is going to be the place to be in a few days. If you think the bar you're currently going to is nice, you surely haven't been to Buddha Bar. Let's take a look around shall we? =)

 How to get there

Screenshot from Google Maps. Honestly I am actually well oriented with the Makati Avenue area. Since Buddha Bar is along Kalayaan Avenue which is a one way street, you need to go there by turning left to Jupiter Steet, turning right on Nicanor Garcia and turning right again on Kalayaan Avenue. Buddha Bar will be on the left side of the road and it's beside the PICAR Residences development. You won't miss it because it's got that sign on the photo above. It's pretty big unless you have eye problems. They have ample amount of parking and have Valet if you need it. Then I was floored to see what was inside.

Party Like a NOCSTAR!

Sunday, June 27, 2010

Oh boy have I been partying hard. I went home a couple of hours ago and I haven't got that much sleep yet. To tell you the truth, I went to around 8 different events this weekend so you kind of get the idea on how busy I got just by looking at the number. But no matter how hard it is I did my best to go to all of them. I need to support my friends and peers of course!

Two of these events I went to last night were notable.... the UE Red Tribe had a small gathering/party; and I'm glad we did get to meet each other. I think I did really miss the guys. Best of all, I got to pay for my shirt since the UAAP season is coming. I will be there on the second day though. Why? Because this year we are not going to have a game on opening day. We will also be battling it out with UST so you kinda know how that will go. Of course we will win because their lineup is not that impressive. I hope idol Paul Lee and James Martinez just do their job well. I'm sure they will.

My peers from Nocturnals had an event last night. Yes I had a blast, and so were hundreds upon hundreds of people who flocked to EIVISSA. It was my first time in that bar. Their crowd? It was a mix. Mostly from C and D but it does the job because the place is nice although there are some issues when it gets crowded... the airconditioning sucks!

But all in all what matters most in that night is the success of my photography org and the corporation we put up. I applaud them all. I am sorry though I wasn't able to help or get a bigger role on this event unlike the others who pulled life and limb to get it that rowdy! It was a blast and I'm so glad it became a successful event!

Saw Some Booty Shakin Last Night =)

Sunday, April 11, 2010

I just woke up ladies and gentlemen at exactly 2PM Manila time. I went out last night with my co photographers from NOCTURNALS PHOTOGRAPHY. I really had a blast. I had about4 bottles of beer @ MGM Superclub and a couple 4 more with my other friends from an org on another club. I wanted to relax a bit and I think I have really achieved that last night. I want to say thanks to the guys who I went out with last and hope this ain't gonna be over! =)

We went to Manor initially but since there was some details not fixed with the promoters we went ahead and proceeded to MGM. Beer was overflowing and I had the nicest time watching the bootyshakin that was happening at the stage. It was all good.

This is also the first time I got my Flip Video out for testing in a club environment and I guess it performed quite well. I really like the fast recording and movie making that comes with the software. Flip is really one of the greatest things since sliced bread! Now I want to experiment with the rest of the features available on its editing software since it can cut and save files right from the get go. I really like it a lot! I would recommend this for people on the go and who are real true blooded gadget freaks! You will like how small it is but not the preview window because it looks too small on a flip mino. I just like it because it is convenient and because of the superior quality of videos you can make on it. Just take a look at what happened last night. =)

TGIF!

Saturday, January 23, 2010

Last night was a blast! I went out with friends from an online community I frequent in and we had some guests who were doctors from a province down south so it was a little arduous to have me introduce them to ladies that night. I felt that since this was my territory I should let them at least have fun right? But then again I didn't have time to work on meeting some my self... anyway I still had fun with friends and a couple of strangers LOL... but that was just the start of the evening.

I had a few drinks again. Somehow I really needed it to relax a bit, I was a bit tensioned but sure enough after a few bottles I got a little smooth talking to them and yes I did get tipsy too. It was a little dose more than what I used to drink and I was not feeling sorry going back to drinking a lot again. I did not have a hangover which I really despise when I do this deed. Anyway I will be still limiting things, its just that I probably screwed up and did this out of necessity last night. I mean I did have fun, imagine I was making out with a girl at around 7AM LOL and got her number too so I would probably have fun this week.

Thank God it's Friday!

The Red Square Experience

CLUBS

There's a new place to watch out for in Manila's clubbing scene right at the heart of Quezon Avenue, Quezon City. With inspiration from the great landmark in Russia, THE RED SQUARE promises to impress with their great interior, aptly themed bar, reasonably priced drinks and huge servings. Music is extremely young and fresh; comprised of one of the greatest house-trans music compilations I have ever heard provided by DJ's Ceejay Fondevilla, Dennis Dorendez and other guest DJ's that weekend. Their music is in my genre; and to tell you the truth, I have heard one of the best!

DJ Ceejay Fondevilla, DJ Dennis Dorendez and other guest DJ's got the latest House and Trans Mixes that would be the envy of clubbers throughout the country!

Try various VODKA mixes while @ Red Square!

Red Square is right at the heart of Quezon Avenue in QC!
The newest, grandest place for clubbing!

The brains behind the clubbing industry in the metro, Adriel Mirto!!

The acoustics were just the way I liked it, extremely loud and bangin that would force most club goers to talk and whisper to each others ears while dancing. It initiates intimacy on a very posh site, not bad for single good looking people finding a place of refuge after work; or after a whole week in their blue collared jobs. The awesome lights, you'll just know they are state of the art, new and expensive. The lounge area was also comfortable, with futuristic modern interior scaled by a combination of wood, metal and red to black leather trimmings, you just can't avoid to stare at awe how each section was thought out!

NOCTURNAL Photographer Senor Ismael in action!

State of the art lights and sounds that fare even better than the usual SUPERCLUBS you already know!

That night when the NOCTURNALS invaded the place, the ambiance was great, the dress code though was very lenient and felt everywhere was the actual VIP area. I would really love to see this bar hyped and amped up in the next few days since they are going to have their launch. I know the actual strip has been stigmatized of girlie night bars and stuff where politicians, cohorts and the likes have been frequently seen. This time, its gonna be our generation that it will cater to. I am actually excited that this will be a start of something big that will challenge the greatest names in the clubbing from Manila, Makati, The Fort and Eastwood districts.

Did I mention the fine women @ Red Square?!
If you haven't been there, you are missin a lot!

Just a fair warning: Get ready to party at THE RED SQUARE! I'll be there!

Up Next!

THANK GOD FOR CLUBBIN!

Saturday, March 28, 2009

Just a quick post before I sleep. Yeah I know, its 6AM and I just got in. No I did not come from work... I just came in from clubbin! Yeah! My favorite past time has come to an end and made me a happy kid once again!

ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz............

There I go I went to sleep and woke up with the laptop on my face literally because I was so drunk last night. I guess I partied too much. I just hope the hangover doesn't step in. I'm eating spaghetti for breakfast since I woke up at about 2PM. But I'm excited to know our plans of going to Galera is pushing through to have rest and recreation. This happens when I needed it most. Now, after this bowl of spaghetti I forgot I was supposed to go to MOA and buy the ERASERHEADS shirt I was dreaming about since that nostalgic event at the concert. Oh my! It's a good thing mah colleague Vince was in MOA and practically waiting for the same thing. I got him to buy me two of those and have them signed by Raimund Marasigan the band's drummer.

I also have my regrets not waking up sane because I missed the event for CABAL and the other games. I wish I had the strength to even walk now that I'm watching re-runs of American Idol. They got the big guy removed from the finals, he did weird this week.

All in all, I enjoyed my weekend... celebrating out with friends, a birthday too and a couple of shots. This just made my week! Thank goodness for clubbin!

What I Wear When I'm out Clubbing!

Friday, January 16, 2009

I’ve been clubbing since high school and admittedly I’m pretty good at it. I don’t have to tell you how long ago that were so you wouldn’t be chasing and guessing after my age. I still do it these days and I just noticed how the common fashion sense in these parties changed so much in a span of a decade. Not that I’m complaining but it seems to me that it’s getting to be a lot easier.

It wasn’t like before where people conformed to what is said to be stylish and up to date. At this rate, the outfits just got easier to wear. The rule of thumb got into oblivion and the principles was just to wear what’s comfortable. Originality was also there with the fashion police disrupted by HARAJUKU girls in Japan. I on the other hand never got into it that much but I do what I can with what I have in store in my closet. Jazz it up a little and voila! A new ensemble of rave clothing appears… and I like it that much too. Next time I go clubbing at the latest bars in the metro; I know I’m already part of the phenomenon already that are ready to be part of concerts, rave parties, the latest music and the ultra dark society where I belong. If you want to be ahead of the pack then check out the latest here at http://www.beatdropscloset.com and get the best ones money can buy!
