This was done for folks who love the brand and onlookers that would want to get first dibs of their newest CC Cream line and new products together with influencers Toni, Echo, Cha and Dior... and a surprise guest they revealed later on, the Asoka Challenge Queen herself Lenie Aycardo.
This is the first time I was covering a Cathy Doll event, and I used to see them in different BL series that I watch especially those from Thailand. They're extremely popular, and with good reason, because their products really do work. It also doesn't cost much which makes it possible for them to be used for a greater demographic. It was so nice to see the brand also puts importance in being inclusive hence their endorsers. No matter what orientation, shape or form you are, Cathy Doll products are made especially for you.

Jericho and Dior took time to introduce the Cathy Doll CC Lip Serum and Cathy Doll Get Set Go Browcara. They have these in different shades and scents, and can be used if you are either fair or brown skinned. I'd be surprised how confident Jericho was during the talk and how he showed it doesn't make you less of a man if you are using cosmetics these days, as they say, it's already 2024! Dior on the other hand taught how to apply the browcara, as some of you may know, it'll make your brow appear more pronounced but not leech like. It looked good on them and it was applied in a few minutes. Men need perfect brows too.
Toni and Cha on the other hand put importance on the base foundations, powders and concealers. Aside from skin prep, you need to have the right shade for those dark spots. Went to Have Hotel this morning and got briefed a little about make up products. I personally don't use em but knowing this would be the best if you're a photographer and know when and why you should touch up when in a shoot. (Lusot). Anyway, the primary products they are launching is the Skin Care Cover Face (recommended color 152 for Filipino skin types), they had models who got dolled up using their lotions, skin cover so ladies would have make up that would not be dried up. Their product will make natural oil and water on your face stay longer. They got skin lotion and milk lotion,then let it on the face for 5 minutes before applying foundation. It covered real good.

Got invited to the PSI Lifestyle Hub in Quezon City. It's pretty near my place and it sits right across my old school Trinity University of Asia at the ground floor of The Garden Heights Condominium. I'm pretty familiar with this area because I spent all of my highschool years here. It's bustling with SME's, hospitals, new restaurants, malls but I think it's a pretty nice place to put up a business that would cater to a niche market. We went all the way down south and felt the VIP experience they were promising us as the first ever Beauty Scents Outlet Store in Paseo de Sta. Rosa, Laguna. I frequent that same commercial area if I'm in the lookout for shoes and items that they actually sell at a fraction of a cost. Now, there's more reason to do it because some of the world's well loved perfumes, colognes and make up will be housed in a 210 square meter shop on the outskirts of Nuvali. What more could you ask for?
Their Executives, beauty queens, artists, Manila's best beauty and lifestyle bloggers all attended the event. The first branch is located in Malaysia, they put the second store here for a reason because it's a little far from the metro but easy enough to drive to and be with the best brands in that same location. After the ribbon cutting, we did the next best thing to enjoy the perfumes inside the store... we shopped for our own favorite perfumes!
People rushed inside the store looking for their favorite perfumes, some really good selections but totally affordable.
I couldn't really help but notice the interiors of the store because they probably have thought about making it really chic, it's a mix of natural and industrial. The cold steel and wood, painted black and stained, it was like a warehouse in the middle of a shopping district. They made an effort to make this a unique place, wide and spacious so you can expect they can accommodate a lot of people even on peak hours. During the event, they even let us try facials, spas, makeovers and a lot more right at the cosmetics section at the bottom of the stairs.
