Work, Create, Anytime, Anywhere on ASUS Expert and ProArt StudioBook Series & other models on Shopee

A few days ago, we were fortunate to have been able to participate technical seminar for ASUS as they begin preparations in launching the ASUS Expert and ProArt StudioBook Series. I’ve never salivated looking at some of the most powerful and portable laptop computers, but theirs are a nice bunch. The Expert Series are business laptops built to be the thinnest and lightest in the world. They’ve gone through rigorous tests internally but decided to take on US Military grade standards so you could take it on the road with peace of mind. Not to mention 24 hours battery life, upto 2TB SSD drives I’d envy storage freaks who would have this for office work. Just like you, there are tons of people who need that and they addressed it complete with biometric authentication, a physical webcam shield (you can switch), nano kengsington lock and a fingerprint sensor. It also doesn’t just look sleek, it sounds great carrying the Harman Kardon speakers and quad microphones, your conferences would be a cinch. If you're a budding technology and programming enthusiast, you better listen in. As you may have already learned on our first article, Synergy88 Digital has already been able to achieve a lot in the past few years and has pegged itself as a world class company that delivers digital creative solutions with exceptional quality. Learning to do those skills in a bigger setting, to get your feet wet, to get those young minds realize their ideas in a the real world, that was set in stone and interpreted to a chartered map. It was also one of the opportunities to see and identify promising and talented individuals that could eventually be part of their teams. All of these would come from proposed theses in these partner schools, they'll help them to make it, train with appropriate workshops and have them use the resources as accorded by their agreements. This will also be properly screened for candidates, expecting the same professional work they churn out in these offices. They have a lot of success stories, but this had an arm dipped in a willing corporate social responsibility too to help uplift the kind of education people get from the universities and colleges they partnered with, teaching not just the theoretical and technical legwork that comes with the territory, but the necessary work ethic on a level that is expected of a triple A level professional.

Currently, they are receiving a lot of interested parties, schools and government agencies because this is absolutely seen as an industry with BIG potential. Imagine how this would disrupt the current business worldwide when we witness the full capabilities of Filipino artists, programmers and individuals who would undergo INNOVLABS in the long run. We know how we're being sought after by people in the same industry around the world, and imagine how convenient it would be for families to stay together because this division is going to be based here in our own country. Nobody would have the thinking of leaving the Philippines anymore because we're capable, we have the studios and armaments to do it in our own turf. That's probably going to happen in the near future, imagine the possibilities. Just think of the countless students and schools that INNOVLABS could help with this program. Thousands of lives would be changed and I'm excited as it holds a lot of promise.

Red Fox : Truly Redefining Innovation

Red Fox has been known nationwide as the premier affordable brand for desktops, laptops, computing machines and accessories. We took an afternoon to take a look at some of the best items they have in store and check out what they have been doing these past few months. A few products have also been released in the Philippine market. It's one of the things I was excited about whilst visiting their Innovative Technologies Center in Quezon City.

Specialized Laptop units with Medical/Nursing software; the possibilities are endless with Red Fox Technologies

Since the 80's Red Fox has continually made efforts to put out its brand and technologies in very affordable rates. With their corporation concentrating in the early years in manufacturing and research for boards - computer peripherals they made necessary production systems that have high standards but made each of the quite cost effective. Just take a look at the AMD Main Board lines they have and you'll know why they've been number one since early 2000. Do you remember the Red Fox Vengeance? It was one of the noted gaming PC's in the past that was successfully launched by the same company. Computer shops were obsessed with these and the AMD processors that it came with. Graphics wise, it performed quite well with others in the mainstream market. They won numerous awards and garnered high acclaim here and abroad.

Today, they are steadily penetrating the market with new releases like the Red Fox Wizbook, Optima, Vengeance EVO (second generation Vengeance) and the Wizpad (which uses Windows7). Anyone who wants to also save a lot from purchasing units for educational purposes should try and get the WIZStation which can accommodate 10 users. They've got you covered!

The WizPad looks very promising. Imagine running several software applications 0n this tablet since you can easily do it on Windows7. It also can boot up on Android as an option too. I'll get you in on the details when I do my review for this ingenious competitor for the tablet market. Watch out for that!

AMD Processors

They gave us a short peek at the new products from AMD. The best retail gaming and entertainment processor impressed us with better memory switching technologies and its utilization of discreet GPU. It's something never even thought of being used in the past but now they will be releasing more models that can make this work through AMD Dual Graphics technology. GPU is utilized so that the processing speed would be pumped up to almost 120%. Just think about overclocking... ooh that and your gaming addiction, this is bliss!

If you are ready for a high-definition gaming experience, do it with AMD Radeon HD 6870 graphics processors.

By the first week of October they will launch 6 and 8 core processors. That's something to look forward to in their AMD Client PC platforms. AMD FX is the only 8 core CPU processor available in the Philippines. It is the only one that can support the directx11 enabled graphics card. AMD btw is also being used by its competitors but they just don't disclose it on manufactured laptops and desktops. If the GPU is significantly good for them to even use it, you should get the obvious. So the next time you think about boards and processors to use, make sure it's AMD.

Gigabyte Motherboards, 8 phase power VRM design with Dual Power Switching Technology. Tech geeks just drooled on this one. I'd like to test this out soon.

Watch out on this site reviews about the WIZPad and other Red Fox Devices. This is going to be good. We're gonna pit this together with the performance of the IPAD2 and tell you how it fares.

Memorial Day 2009

It's Memorial Day in the US and everybody is on festive mood because my site seems on a slump lately. I've got to be crazy not to notice that because every program in cable was showing celebrations in the US and other naval and air bases around the world.

This particular day is celebrated each last Monday of May and is done to thank each and everyone who participated in the 2 world wars that the country went to. Not to mention the other small wars that some Filipino soldiers also participated in. I know because my Grandpa was part of it too, well let me just rephrase that because I think everyone at that time was part of it in the Philippines. We really did play a major role in the war and thousands of Filipinos died at that time. I remember my Grandma said a few things about going to the provinces to evacuate so they can stay away from Japanese soldiers who infiltrated the major cities. It was a good thing they bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki otherwise there would have been more nations that could have gone under threat. We are situated in such a strategic place in the Pacific Ocean that everyone had to make us a part of it. I wonder what I could have done at that time... well I better stop day dreaming and start working. I've got tons of reports to do obviously.
