Making Memories at Club Paradise in Coron Palawan

Spent a few days at Coron, Palawan with my fam for a short R&R. It's been a while since I've been there and I've been ecstatic to have my family with me. We stayed at Club Paradise, it's in Dimakya Island in Coron which I've had the pleasure of going to a few years back. I saw it was fit for my senior Mom to go to so boat transfers and accommodations would be all accessible as the Discovery property arranges all of that.

I brought along the Samsung A73 5G (in Amazing White color) with me to keep memories. It's a beastly phone that takes 108MP photos that has OIS and a set of quad cameras. It's also got a Snapdragon 778G processor, fits in the hand at 6.7 inch Full HD+ with an SAMOLED screen. I was able to test the 5G connection in Manila and by any standards, VERY fast.It also takes amazing videos, but I reckon be of good quality at 4x zoom. I may have a lot of processing needs, but it bore the brunt of several video editing apps, photo editing apps and socials that I use almost everyday. I really didn't need the 4K video capability and opted to have lesser resolution so I can have more space on the phone. It's got 256GB space though, and I wasn't able to fill it all up with vacation photos in that 5 day retreat. You can opt for the 1TB microSD space as it can accommodate external memory too.

Photo quality is good, it won't make you look like you have plastic skin. I also took advantage of the zoom taking videos for a real wedding proposal that happened at the beach. The photos and videos in daytime, plus several food shots I took was crisp too. I'd be crazy if I didn't think this was something that was made for content creators. 

Here's a glimpse of the trip we had plus the special dinner arranged by Club Paradise in the evening. They called it a Moonlight Dinner, perfect for special occasions or if you plan to propose to someone. Ours was for fun so they also prepared a Boodle Fight, a seafood lover's dream, even those who want surf and turf. I used a different Android phone in the beginning, see how the shots changed dramatically at the 2:08 mark. If you see the proposal video at the 6:08 mark, I was super far and hiding among the trees when I took videos. Imagine, a phone that can take videos with low light and that distance?

The Sunset Cruise (which you should also request for in advanced) was a perfect way to end the day with. This was done before we had dinner. Needless to say, they really took good care of us while we were there. I'd like to take this bit to thank the good people of Club Paradise in Palawan, we're thinking of making this an annual thing. Who knows?! I'm glad though I got memories saved. Samsung did something good with that phone. It's a tool, and you can do wonders with it!

I've always been doing DIY wand crafting stuff to change the look of my room. It fits my monochrome theme in the room and would provide a different look for the walls I have in here. I was thinking to have this as a feature wall so it wouldn't look like I'm just in a plain wall when seen on meetings. Aside from that, this doesn't look cheap and it is very affordable (at 15 to 68 pesos a piece). I've also seen that they're doing a BIG MIDNIGHT SALE on the Shopee 12.12 Big Christmas Sale event, so I might actually be better off just putting this on my cart and check out 12am on that date. If I get a lot of it, I'll save a bunch without having to permanently having it as a fixture on the wall or harming the actual paint in it. It stays with an adhesive which would be apt for the time I'll have it there. I bet this would also soften sound coming from outside when I'm recording inside my room (perfect for unboxing videos!).

Join the G-Force Summer Glam x Dance Workshop 2016

We're at the new G-Force Dance Studio in Il Terrazo's Penthouse in Tomas Morato Quezon City to hear about their BIGGEST Summer Workshop this 2016 and announce their DANCE GLAMP Dance Concert at the Mall of Asia Arena. They'll be holding workshops first in different locations in the country then have the culminating show on May 31, 2016. Aside from that, I've seen people who have attended the workshops last year and have regarded it to build confidence, so now they've learned to interact with other people and even get to talk to more compared to when they started. The press was even impressed because they had differently abled people also attend the workshop and they treat them just like any other student, which is a good thing.

Hashtag Ryle Dances with Mom Sherylyn Reyes

For something impromptu, Mom Sherylyn Reyes and Ryle Paolo Tan performed too. The good looking Hashtag Ryle attributed all that he's learned in dancing to GFORCE, a feat that landed him in the Hashtag group. I know he's worked hard since his TV5 days, and dancing per se is a skill he picked up through these workshops. That also made him successful.

In this day and age it is so hard to put up your own company let alone expand because of economic times but it is essential for growth. Making your products and services available in a larger area essentially would need manpower and logistics. Good Housekeeping Good Ideas Workshop

The good people who make those excellent Post It's 3M Corporation Philippines and Good Housekeeping Magazine publisher Summit Media held a workshop entitled Good Ideas last July 30 at the event place of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. They brought along health, style and design experts along so people there would learn a thing or two about how to keep their homes organized, make it spick and span. I learned a couple of things too!

Dr. Patricia Santos-Abes is an Allergologist and head of the Allergy and Immunology Section of the Asian Hospital. She gave a lot of tips on how to keep the home and your family safe from allergens which causes countless diseases. Cleaning up and making sure you have some things that could filter your air were some of the few things she showed beneficial to everyone's health. Samples of what bad microbes and disease causing bacteria could do were shown to the public in that event. I took note on some of the obvious things but learned more about the products that could help eliminate the possibilities of me getting sick in the long run. There were also lessons about how pets can also carry these elements and made sure everyone knows how it would affect home owners if they keep these four legged family members inside the home. She gave some tips how to use Filtrete for Air Conditioning units and told us how it could do a lot of things for our health by improving indoor air quality and ventilation. That's just smart!

Also in that event was Johanna Victoria Acab - Faustino who is the Principal designer of Ideal Interior Design Services. Aside from being an Interior Designer, she's a well decorated herself LOL! She's a Cum Laude, graduated from UP Diliman and ranked third overall in the licensure exams 1998. Pretty and stylish, she made a great presentation about how people can simply get their simple homes jazzed up with a couple of style ideas and organize it with small knickknacks from 3M particularly the damage free hanging solutions from Command and the furniture savior Scotch Gard. We were also treated to some of her tips on storage solutions and how to maximize space. We also were shown how to get things together and how to achieve the real eclectic look. It's not a mumbo jumbo; but a pretty simple concept and a design philosophy. Pretty neat!

The event was hosted by Ms. Issa Litton-To. Beautiful isn't she?!
