Sunshine Cruz is the face of THIOCELL

Celebrity Mom, actress, entrepreneur and supposed vampire Ms. Sunshine Cruz was just announced as the face of the new THIOCELL Lozenges. This is manufactured by Brady Pharma Inc and comes in a lozenge form. This is made by the same people who produced different dermatologic and cosmetic products, and is part of the aurolab group. This new form makes it easy for people to have it carried around, take and absorb better making all its contents beneficial as t contains Selenium (anti oxidant), Vitamins C (for good bones, cartilage, skin and blood), Vitamin D (for reduction of inflammation), and Vitamin E (against aging, arthritis and better eyes). They've spent 7 years of research and clinical trials before releasing this into the market, and Sunshine has personally tried it (not to whiten, but the benefits and nutrients she's getting from it).

During the press conference, Sunshine shared how she's been through a lot of sun exposure because of the nature of her work. She says "I absolutely trust the people behind THIOCELL. I love to sleep and stay at home, but if the work would require me to go to locations, I keep an open mind to take one everyday to make sure I get daily allowances I need. Together with that, I work out, I box a few times a week. I also work on my self, always with self love. If you expect people to love you, you have to love yourself first. I also do facial procedures when I feel the need to. I also have a very simple skincare routine, basically just removing my makeup, cleaning up with soap and water, then moisturizer or non oil based lotion in the especially in the eyes because that's where people see you age. Plus lots of sleep, because if you lack that, you will see it on your skin. My kids probably followed it while they're growing up, they see me take care of my skin when they were growing up. If they have small blemishes, I tell them what to do to take care of it. They're all girls, and I think it's an advantage if their Mom is a little vain. I don't want to see my kids not taking care of their skin."

She also brags that taking THIOCELL is easy because you can do it anywhere, any place, any time. She might have a lot on her bag, but makes sure she has space for it whenever she needs to go out. CATHY VALENCIA Celebrates 18 Years in the Business

Whenever I hear her name, I remember countless artists, celebrities that have been able to experience the Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic. Results that you can't deny, which is why she's still the premiere name to trust in the industry. Recently, they celebrated their 18th year in the business. It was also her birthday, so she threw a thanksgiving party for her most loyal clientele, her celebrity endorsers and the media a few days ago.

The Cathy Valencia Advanced Skin Clinic has been doing skin and aesthetic services since 2002. They now have lots of products available in their clinics designed to maintain, enhance, improve and nourish your skin. We had a grand time there, seeing them bond over games and entertainment numbers was super nice to see. Celebrities like Kitkat, the gorgeous Jessy Mendiola, Marco Gumabao, Enchong Dee, Sunshine Cruz and her daughters, the lovely Sanya Lopez, Tita Anabelle Rama, sweethearts Loisa Andallo and Ronnie Alonte went to the event, to wish Ms. Cathy a happy birthday, and tell us about the various services they love in their clinic.

MANO PO LEGACY Moved to New Timeslot

Talking to the cast was really an opportunity to see how these actors and actresses prepare for their role and know how they do it. True enough, people have been raving about the performances of Maricel Laxa, Sunshine Cruz, Barbie Forteza and the whole cast.

As Maricel Laxa says. "It's not hard to actually do it because you've got a supportive cast, excellent people behind the scenes that would make you think it's easy to execute the character."

David Licauco says "At first it was intimidating but when I started to talk to them, it was easy. The script is actually good so it was easy to do because you would know how their character moves or do in the story."

Be Scared with The Heiress

Just watched The Heiress this evening at SM Megamall. This is their premiere night so we did expect the stars to arrive. This stars Janella Salvador, McCoy De Leon and the diamond star Ms. Maricel Soriano.

Ms. Maricel says "It was a joy to do this because we were laughing non stop while shooting scary scenes. Our knees hurt, Direk and I made sure you will still get scared with this movie."

True enough, it went discussing Fillipino folklore. They are the different kind of witches who specialize in making bugs, creatures to come out of your body. This will take your hallucinations into the next level, and show you how creepy it is to battle (or live with) a real deal mambabarang. Now don't go upsetting them in their own home, you might get the bitter end of the tale and get the curse if they do it to you, or maybe someone else will.

Maricel Soriano in this film is intense, she always is anyway so we expect nothing less from the diamond star (oooh and yes watch out for the very iconic lines!). You'll also be fond of Janella and McCoy's love story because they do have good chemistry (as Guia and Renz). I guess those loveteam things are gone, and it's cool to see them being paired with other actors. Though I hope not because I like Elisse and him together (sorry off topic). The movie creeps on you, just like the critters in the movie. I'd be scared for you if you didn't watch it!

Sunshine Cruz and Daughters Endorse EM-CORE DOTNET Products

Vampires don't really exist, nor immortals, but then again there are just people who defy age like Sunshine Cruz. Together with her daughters Angelina, Samantha and Chesca, they are now the new brand ambassadors for Em Core Dot Net, a direct selling and multi level marketing company involved in health products and supplements. They have been doing business in the country since 2015.

Sunshine, Raymond and Enzo in MALAMAYA

I too was a little dumbfounded about the word MALAMAYA. I didn’t know it wast the tagalog term for the color Ash, all along I thought it was just “abo” but that’s just me lol. Anyway, we sat down with the cast and people behind the movie Malamaya earlier at Annabels Restaurant in Morato so we could get some gist about this Cinemalaya entry.

The film stars Sunshine Cruz, Enzo Pineda, Raymond Bagatsing, Bernadette Allyson and Ms. Gloria Sevilla. This is directed by two women Danica Sta. Lucia and Leilani Chavez. It’s about the gray areas of a relationship, talks about commitment, artistry, dominance, and just about all those small things conservative people don’t want to talk about. A tough stance yeah, but Sunshine trusts the directors much she gave them lee way to do things and execute this, including love scenes which she tells she knows she’s being taken cared of.

Raymond Bagatsing accepted this role as it is different, a potter which he likens to Patrick Swayze and he’s excited about the treatment. He says ”He is my inspiration, and I can’t wait for people to see how much time we’ve painstakingly given its treatment, you’ll see that all here.“

This film is produced by Spears Films, ALV Films and Cine Likha. Malamaya is an entry for the 15th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival slated August 2 to 13 in CCP Theater and selected movie houses nationwide. They will also have a theatrical run on August 14 so watch out for that!

Sunshine Cruz Now Joins ALV Talent Circuit

It looks like ALV Talent Circuit is growing and now adds a very versatile actress to their roster. I'm sure you guys know Ms. Sunshine Cruz and she's been battling it out with the Ardiente's in Wildflower. She's very effective, always playing the lead but she's got dreams to play other roles. She's spreading her wings, and she saw how effective ALV has been in production, managing talents including her daughter Angelina who's doing a singing career.

Ms. Sunshine says "If it's about my personal life I am very happy now, it's not perfect but just to be someone that is good with my kids it's a good thing. When they met they were friends already (with Macky) so they really did jive. We are in the stage of enjoying each other's company, we support each others dreams. I'm glad that they haven't been courted yet. It will come I know, but they know they have to focus on studies. My kids are not ugly so I know people will come and try but they respect me and I'm very greatful for that. I just hope he (prolly Cesar) to at least have an effort."

"I started in showbiz when I was 15, so I advise my kids about work, and never ever forget studies. We have bonding time, but if I have to be strict they know how to listen and understand that I have to do the job of a mom and dad. They still get hurt, they are my babies, but I sometimes tell them to brush it off especially bashers online. You know like me, I share almost everything on Instagram as long as it's possible. When we were shot by paparazzi, and it became viral, nothing really changed. We are of age, and people didn't know the story that's why I got a few bashers too. I am grateful and blessed that my kids listen to me and give me the respect that I need. I don't hold them back, they're smart and know their priorities."

She adds "Since 2013 I have been playing roles where I always cry, I am the one being hurt too. I always am interested to play a villain or mistress role, I did an episode of MMK once and that got me a lot of weird threats so I think in a way that confirms that I am effective. They just say they are very happy for me and I am so happy that they approve of him. In the past they filtered some suitors I had and I'm glad they also take care of me in a way. Their approval means a lot to me. "

"I am glad to have been able to work with Wildflower, in a way they have reinvented me because I didn't want to play the same role. I also did a culinary cours so later I want to put up my own restaurant. I want to also to finish my Masters in Psychology."

Arnold Vegafria says "We will both take care of her career in acting, singing, being an influencer and endorser. I will be putting her in a whole package, and will talk to companies, talk to Geneva, Sheryl, Donna and maybe do a concert. She can do it with them or solos. We talked to Regal and will talk soon with Star Cinema, I am also in the production of indie mainstream movies so maybe we can do one for her. We can't put her on sexy stuff anymore even if we have offers, we have to think that she's already a Mom and she has kids. She wants to do indie films and I want to do it with young directors, writers, cinemathographers and she's looking forward to do one. Our target is also have her do at least two soap operas in a year but we'll make her come back in movies."

This is the start of something even big for Ms. Sunshine Cruz and ALV Talent Curcuit is going to make her an even big star. We can't wait for that!

Fresh Blogs Fast!

Good News and Bad News

Just heard news. Good news. I like it when things like these happen. It makes me want to sing a note or two even if I'm not good in singing ha-ha. I have been lucky last year and I am kind of lucky again this year... I hope it never ends.

I won't tell you details about it yet because it will be huge. I hope I become popular after this LOL.

After a long day at work, I had to go in at 12 am today so I am still not in shape. I will try to probably workout tomorrow. But if we are going to be here around afternoon (since midshift starts around that time) then we have to go in to work a little late than usual. My sleeping habits are getting worse and I need to rest so I can work efficiently.

My prayers go out to the family of Angelo Montano, son of actor Cesar Montano. I met him a couple of months ago in their Belissimo restaurant and got the chance to talk to him quite a bit. he was a little quiet and reserved but he helped around a lot. I hope his family is okay. I don't want to hear stories like that but boy it looks so abrupt. I hope Cesar, Shine, Angela and the kids won't be sad too much. They had a happy time with him and I know they will cherish his memories. Such a good kid to pass away too early. My condolences.
