CABAL WIZARD at Level 109 Mercury Server

Wednesday, April 22, 2009

The last quest in cabal to level up in the Completer rank would need 50 grade mission coins from frozen slaughter zombies. I tried it just now and on one use of the epaulet of dead, I only got 6 pcs out of it because I obviously did not know where to go on some of the places where it has those creatures. I would probably be able to finish this in a couple of days, but I don't know if the epaulet of dead that I have would be enough to cover 50 pcs of that. Aside from that, I got into honor rank 5 and the next honor quests require me to get inside the lake in the dusk to kill some ogres. I would probably be able to finish this in a month but that would require me to play the game everyday. I just hope I have that much time to do it.

Well, as far as the frozen tower is concerned I think I did a pretty good job of killing the creatures one by one. Although I could have had a better playtime on it if I had someone to travel with. I just hope it is enough to get the 50 coins it require because as you see if you only do it alone like I did I was not able to finish it at all. Maybe I need to study a couple of the video walkthroughs so I would be a little more familiar with the place. I'm sure to be able to get there soon, the vehicle I got free was also nice. I have my own astral bike now free for only 30 days!

Things To Know About Ethical Hacking

The role of CYBER Security has been blatantly given importance by the US. This has played a major role in the war against terrorism. The Philippines also has produced some of the world's best hackers and network security experts because we are at par with the technology and training. We were stricken of viruses before that stole information from computers that are even on secured connections. They are those that even have been stripped of their bank accounts because without the operating system, virus, security pattern updates they would not be safe at all.

IT Security is important no matter how small or big businesses are. If you cannot secure online transactions, there would be a huge chaos in markets here and around the globe. We are not in the age where we need to resort in barter trading. The EC-Council is thinking of numerous ways to battle this at the forefront and they have set up trainings in the web for Internet and Network Security Fundamentals, Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics, Disaster Recovery, and Secure Programming. IT and big business corporations have a huge demand for network security experts here and elsewhere in the world. Without this check and balance in cyberspace through Ethical Hacking , we would all fall into the hands of unscrupulous individuals that have nothing to do but ruin lives of citizens like you and me. I plan to move forward in my career as a network engineer and it is inevitable. If I am a Certified Ethical Hacker I would not fear the recession would be a factor in getting a job because it is still highly needed. Good thing they have flexible schedules that we can get because most of us do not have time to study anymore. Great! I'll try to get one of their online classes.

Another EMOtional Ridden Day For Me!

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

I fear a lot of things but just a while ago news struck me that even my professional career is in the brink of awkwardness. I hate it when I discuss matters like these out in the open but I am quite appalled figuratively and literally. I don't know where they get these people but if they don't know what they are doing, is it right to tell them or should I just shut up and make them realize what wrong thing they may be doing later on?

I will probably resign if they push with changes, yes the damn HR ain't doing a good job listening to people. But since I am not in the position to tell them my POV, I would have to wait until my Philippine based Managers do something about it. If I need to fight for it I would, but things should not have gone into this state if HR only talked to the right people. I think resigning would be the honorable thing to do if my professional career does not turn out the way it should. I worked my butt off for crying out loud. It would be bad if someone from outside goes in my project and wreaks havoc to whatever things we already have established like a monkey who got his head chopped off because he does not have any idea of what we are doing. Am I saddened about it? That is an understatement, because as far as I know the person they plan to put here already had his team dissolved because of low performance ratings. Imagine if he brought that resume in our team, I wonder how that would be later on.

I'll try my best to calm down, at least I know what's happening. Now that I'm aware about what they plan to happen is it going to be me to act on it? Should I let them know about it? Do I have to say my piece again like the last dissappointment I got from this same department? Arghhh! The stress just kept on coming right after I took a short vacation. Talk about stress huh?! I did not take the opportunities I had a few months ago because I thought I had a future here. If that does not materialize I might need to re-evaluate things in my career and see what options I have early on. So if it turns out to be what I fear would happen, I would not be a sitting duck while everybody shoots at me. I have high hopes though that my dependable managers from US would help me with this one since they are the ones who are witness to my efforts as part of the team. If the Philippine based managers fail me then I would make it a point they'll feel they lost a limb and crippled without me. I hope they know what they lost afterwards.

Imagine working here for 5 years, not incurring any absences and even sacrificing my vacations just to keep my professional career spotless... then this comes along... I have so many things in my mind right now. I could cut myself and look EMO... or stay sane just for a while. Good thing I got the Phoenix tattoo to fit the part. I hope my wifey doesn't leave me if everything does not fall into place or if my plans just wither like dust in the wind. I love her. I hope she's there for me at times that I really need her.

Recycle, Recycle, Recycle!

I just arrived from a 2 day vacation in PUERTO GALERA which is one of the nicest tourist attractions south of Manila. This is my second time to go there and I really love the place. However, this time of the year was a little different because this made me go there on a peak season where everybody else goes because of Holy Week. They flock to that island because it is the nearest white beach 5 hours away from Manila. I love the place for the shoreline because I love the feeling of the sand on my feet and watch the waves hit me every second. Though there is a huge problem now, a lot of them are putting their trash on the sand after their drinking sprees. They did not think it would affect the way PUERTO GALERA looked, but I suddenly had the urge to clean up after I saw the place the morning after. There were bottles, plastic cups, food, metal utensils all over but only a few residents chose to clean it.

I was worried that in a few years, GALERA might not look the same way because some people did not care enough. I'm not a green thumb or an environmentalist but that is just not right. As an ordinary person, I know we need to at least make an effort to do our part. Even in the city, we should recognize the high volume of trash we have each day. There were a few times we had a garbage problem here because we did not have any place to put it anymore. The dump trucks only had huge lines around residents who chose to close down dump sites because it already had a huge impact on their ecosystem. We should recycle everything and ask our friends and families to enter Earth Day contest that could literally lessen the amount of waste coming from our own homes. I often throw away cell phones and chargers that do not work anymore. I did not know that there were some establishments who could properly dispose of them because iBuyPhones recycles used cell phones. It is just an ingenious way of taking care of mother nature so I will support this cause. I think you should also do the same, so make it a point to grab those old phones and give them to people who can make this world a better place. At least your children can see the same beach, water source and place you now enjoy. They will thank you for that.

Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover Because You Are Not A Book!

I am one of the few millions of people who dropped their jaws when Susan Boyle opened her mouth and stretched her vocal chords in Britain's Got Talent. I was so amazed I began telling all my friends about it, true enough some of them even cried about her.

In life there are a few lessons you suddenly learn from other people without knowing it, I was in shock after watching this video. The funny comedienne Melanie Marquez once said "Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover Because You Are Not A Book!", today it just made sense to me why we should never judge a person by the way that they look literally. I am guilty I often do that because some people do that to me too, but this is a huge wakeup call. I guess I will try my best to give them a chance next time, maybe judgmental people deserve a chance to also change their ways. I will be following her story, I remember Lea Salonga whenever Susan Boyle sings. It looked like they are the best ones to compare. I wish her the best!

The Miami Dating Scene

Monday, April 20, 2009

Just like the vacation I came back from, I was wishing for a day that could mimic the heat and ambiance of Miami. Getting splashed, frolic in the sand with gorgeous women and experience south beach. I want that awesome sunset glow, and when the sun goes down I would like to be in this place where I could celebrate MARDI GRAS where everybody parties all day... where even if I do not work it's OK.

I did also take a rest, ran my self a higher bill, and took time to enjoy the sun, sand and chill. I saw foreigners enjoying it too. Some of them get to also stay there and put up their own businesses, which is kind of favorable for me since I do like women of different races. I enjoyed that fact too because it is hard for me to even think about going to the Caribbean when I only got a few days off via fixing our schedules and asking favors to let me take a break from days in the office. I was not there to see women because I already have one of my own, but it would be nice to see miami singles too. If the saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" applied there, I might think of doing that so count me in on that!

Puerto Galera - This KUMAG's Vacation

Fresh from the the shores and sands of Puerto Galera, this kumag just arrived this afternoon. I got to do all the things I want when I'm away from work, which consists of partyin, swimming and sleeping. All the nicest things to do in that place was on top of my list... not to mention something that I got for myself the day before my friends and I left.

Here's a peek at the pictures :

I'll try and tell you about the story later this evening so you can get a feel of what rest and recreation was all about. The only disappointing thing only was there were not that much babes in swimsuits.. there were MORE THAN A LOT... but I couldn't get you their pictures because of the privacy clause ha-ha. It was great.. I'll tell you about it after I get some sleep because I need to go back to work later too. Got myself an awesome Tattoo... Yeah!

Awesome Phoenix huh?! I'll be back in a few ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz's..........

When I Needed a Lift

Friday, April 17, 2009

The new building we transferred to did not have an elevator. I do not complain that much but after work today, I sprained my ankle while going down the stairs. As of now, I'm limping on my left foot but I still managed to go down. It just ruined my plans of going on a vacation this weekend because I might need to get rest to have it healed.

I do not have any angst against anyone but how in the world would I be able to go up the 3rd floor on Monday if I am still limping. I thought about the other individuals who may suffer the same fate because they do not have facilities that persons with disability would need. Imagine they need to go up carrying their wheelchairs... how would they survive that?

When you break it down, the importance of Elevators and Stairlifts should be emphasized. I was not giving it much thought a few days ago when we were advised to transfer there, but now that I am inevitably going to suffer pain on my foot. We need logistics to contact THYSSENKRUPP Access, the one from GRANDVIEW, MO. They have been the world’s leading accessibility equipment and home elevator manufacturer since 1947. Maybe the building administrator should at least have a short talk with them and see what environmentally safe options they have. After all, saving energy was their priority. I hope they do the same now and help people with disability too.

I'm taking a break!

I am spending my weekend at Galera with some of my friends. It's the famous beach off Mindoro that boasts of white sand, lotsa bars and lots of hot babes heheh.
I plan to get a ride off to Batangas Pier tomorrow morning and probably get food before I travel to Galera because the last time I was there I had the horrible experience of eating whats there. it was not ugly but it really not at par with my palate. I am not that choosy mind you but it was not that good either, I just would not like it if I come home sick because yeah I have a shift the day after X_X...

Today I also spent playing CABAL as usual because its the weekends. I also finished the quest that I was not able to do these past few weeks, maybe then I would be able to get my transcender skills which is needed to be at Class Rank 11 which would probably need to get another quest finished, one that needs me to be at the tower of the dead and kill about 5 ice zombies. I failed to do that twice because I couldn't go out at some of the doors. Sheesh!

I'm excited because tomorrow is going to be a day of rest and recreation for me. I haven't been doing that in a long time. *plunge* Weeeeee!

The Scorching Summer Heat!

It's summertime once again and the heat is really taking a toll on me. What's worse is that we just transferred offices to the building next door. The lockers, personal stuff and office supplies were all carried and sent to 3 flights of stairs because the structure did not have any elevators.

It's a workout I know, but that is going to be next to my morning gym routine too. I just do not like the feeling of going to work, sitting on my desk and perspiring like I just took a shower. Looking professional is a mile away from looking haggard. To make matters worse the air conditioning at my area was not ON. It was not automatic for them to do that and I had to request people from the other building to do it for me. Aside from that, my PC had no live power outlet so I had to use the ones on the other side of my cubicle which made me remember my PC technician days where I had to go on the floor on all fours and crawl just to get my desktop to work in time.

It really is a pain to experience these things when you thought everything was going to be easy. My expectations were too high I guess, but good thing the air conditioner's working now. I am starting to feel the breeze touching my face every once in a while. Summer maybe hot, at least I know I'm hotter ha-ha! I' going to the beach this weekend and take a much needed break, thank GOD!
