OXYGEN™: Shocks Us With Colors This Season!

I have always lauded OXYGEN for staying on their palette which mostly comprise black, white, gray and blue hues. The blue in fact is the only non shady color I've seen of them through the years. The generation they are dressing up however never went out of the box because this thing they have is a whole other lifestyle. It pays homage to a non conventional line of clothes which OXYGEN is known for. They just turned heads this season because they've pretty much changed their outlook. We were surprised that this time, OXYGEN is about to change the way you look at their clothes. Fresh, Young and Vibrant... OXYGEN now has COLOR!

 




For starters, there's Terracotta. Peach. Some shades of it.

Now there are hints of gold, then mustard yellow. 

Styles don't actually suffer because they've got some of it on current ones that can be used on casual days of even mix and matched with office attire. You can also jazz it up and make things shorter for something that you can wear going out in the evening... for a date or dinner with friends.

This was the color palette we saw a few years ago (this part), can you see how it suddenly pops up bright ones like red, red-orange then pairs it up with their basics like blue and black? Pretty amazing!

I don't know what made them decide to suddenly have this on their collection but if this is the case, they are now gonna battle it out with other brands in the market. They stretched their wings and made sure they show the spunk OXYGEN is known for.

 

Cool and refreshing on the eyes, this must be taboo if you are an OXYGEN purist but what matters here is that you stretch your wardrobe's look and feel. OXYGEN is pushing their limits and I must say their execution is something to envy. Surely, this will fare good in the market if their selling point is STYLE. The color palette is changing but it would always be one thing in particular that you should look for in your outfit this coming season, OXYGEN CLOTHING has gone a long way in making sure you've got your look updated. Do the best thing and wear it with pride the next time you go out in town. Then thank them for it later on. Capisce?!

Joe Jonas Endorses Global Brand Bench/

Joe Jonas has got to be one of the most gorgeous guys you'll ever meet in your lifetime. Though he lives a couple of thousand miles away from the Philippines, he still reached his fan base here through several Disney Programs that set Filipinas hearts swoon for his thick brows, mesmerizing eyes and machismo he exudes. Guys, we've got to admit he's one hell of a HOT guy. I can just imagine my friends would probably chase after him, and why not for obvious reasons. It might have been impossible to get an A List Hollywood actor in our shores but since BENCH loves us so much... they brought Joe Jonas to the Philippines!

Believe it or not I even saw Mr. Ben Chan himself take care of this set and the venue. He made sure everyone was comfortable when we got in. Isn't that just amazing that the owner of the company himself is doing all of these?! I really admire his work ethic.

Raymond Gutierrez hosted the meet and greet to the delight of the audience. He was able to pull of a couple of games for the fans. That part is just so adorable.

Then when he came out... it was pandemonium!

He gladly sang a couple of songs for us. He was really a sweet chap. He made sure he took time to wave and say hi to his screaming fans that afternoon.

Joe Jonas is now the newest endorser of BENCH.His campaign would probably concentrate on the BENCH line of jeans and shirts which he truly adored when he got here. His style now is relaxed yet he makes it a point to still have his personality come out on each garment he wears when he's out on a gig. For this particular day he wore a "Have Fun In The Philippines" shirt, Bench Varsity Jacket and Bench OJ Pants. He was really good looking. No doubt, BENCH is definitely going to include him on future campaigns and this warm welcome from the management and the Filipinos would be something memorable for Joe Jonas. He's also went to Cebu for Mall tours and a couple of performances. He sang a couple of songs for us that evening to the delight of all the guys and girls there! I'm sure people will love him more now that he's in the best brand in the country! Welcome to the BENCH Family Joe Jonas!

It looks like TV5 is coming out with their own Artist search and the pot isn't a joke either! I would have wished to audition for this but I'm under age LOL. Do you have friends or family that pass the criteria indicated on this poster? Then do the deed for your chance to win 10 MILLION PESOS! Plus a glamorous life as a star of TV5. 

I'm sure the kids inside the PBB house would have wished to audition here instead LOL. I have never even heard of any contest give out THIS MUCH in the Philippines! It's like winning the local lottery! :)

Seeing the Edge of Light: Behind the Scenes

Fashion Photography in the Philippines has evolved through the years. It doesn't just fall on concept alone these days; and you need to know what it takes to make your shots "above and beyond" of how you imagine it. You've gotta listen to those who are in the business and make your dream come alive. Somehow, I thought it was impossible in the Philippines but Masters Xander Angeles and Niko Villegas of Team Edge of Light proved me wrong.

I was able to attend their workshop a couple of years ago and I must say; it spelled the difference of identifying what my passion was. Fashion Photography was something I thought I was good at, but these guys at Edge of Light was just SICK!

As if there weren't too much Masters that afternoon, Lito Sy even dropped by! That was my first time seeing him. On the right (in Pink) is Niko Villegas who recently topped Mega Fashion Crew.

I just visited their workshop a couple of weeks ago for Fashion Photography and I immediately noticed how directly they were dealing with the budding photographers that afternoon. It was just like the time I was able to attend their workshop. They didn't stop at just theoretically teaching me what the whole business behind a photo shoot consists of. They make you do the legwork of actually shooting the model. You device a way to do the lighting and setup what you need together with world class models, make up artists and crew.

The equipment they have in house are also at par with the world's best. Some are also Phottix gears and caters to mostly any brand of camera. They've also got Lowerpro bags/other gears around for those who would want to get it for a couple of percent (20%-40%) off. Best of all, Sensei Xander and Boss Niko are Nikon Ambassadors. I love how some of their lenses feel on my cam, you can borrow stuff while at the workshop. Try out the lenses if you feel like it.

The set that day was futuristic, made of wood, tarp and fiberglass. Hair and Make Up was by Ms. Dionne Co; which I must say was equally awesome! She did a great job interpreting the concept and look for the model. Stylist Ashley Cayuca is unquestionably lethal; she's done prodigious stuff for local brands and this shoot was no exception.

These guys taught me more than just taking a great photo, they made me realize the need to learn how to think differently and deconstruct things so you know where your kind photography would go. I'm so blessed that I got the chance to attend their workshops. These guys shoot in New York for crying out loud; if that ain't enough reason to run after what  they offer at Edge of Light I don't know what will. I didn't shoot with the actual gear that they had on studio that afternoon but I've got some of my shots turn out great. Just imagine how it would be if I got to shoot there.

This shot I sniped only had one light on it. Now just imagine how you would experiment with about 6 or 7 more light sources, wind, other stuff and make your photo phenomenal. I suggest you do the next best thing and call Haikka for their next workshop schedules. I'm telling you it would really do wonders for your photography!

The End Is the Beginning Is the End ... For Lovely Lovi Poe

It looks like this is the last week of GMA Top rating drama Legacy and sure enough its whole cast is on the verge of tears for the entire season that it has been running. I'm not surprised but pretty emphatic to what Lovi Poe feels at this time. Her experience in the series has made her so in touch with her character "Natasha" saying that she will truly miss it. She might have been evil most of the times; but there's always a hint of goodness and cause to this role that pinoy's surely identify with. This is the thing that she will truly miss. She will also never forget to experience working with the powerhouse cast and the friends that she has made in LEGACY. For those who follow her on this program, don't fret because she'll have two more things lined up after this. A testament of the trust her home film studio has been giving her these past few years.

Lovi Poe will be making a couple more movies with Regal Films. You probably know that she has been doing a lot of movies from that outfit; we know she's truly blessed. She has probably taken this craft a notch higher with the experience she's getting from the veteran actors and actresses she's been able to work with. She is going to do GUNI GUNI. This is the directorial debut of Tara Illenberger, recipient of the best film award at the 35th International Festival of Independent Filmmakers held in Brussels, Belgium. This will have a horror/mystery/drama genre. Lovi Poe will also be paired with Benjamin Alves, who he is being groomed as the next leading man in GMA7. He's the new face this channel is banking on and I'm sure Lovi will help a LOT to this budding artist. The film also stars Empress Shuck,  James Blanco, Ria Garcia, Julia Clarete, Gerald Pesigan and Ms. Gina Alajar. Lovi plays the role of Mylene and is excited to come back with another horror flick after Aswang. This will surely be another exciting film!

Turning into drama, she will also be filming “The Bride And The Lover” opposite Jennylyn Mercado plus another Erik Matti masterpiece called “Tiktik, Aswang Chronicles” where she will be paired up with Dingdong Dantes. This will be their first time pairing on screen, she must be nervous. For those who are in Hong Kong, Lovi Poe will be there on June 9 for the Fun Freedom and Friendship Ballat the Hong Kong Shangrila Kowloon. This will be on June 10 to be in the “Tayo Na,Magsaya at Magkaisa” Fiesta event at the Hong Kong Chatter Garden.You guys should come and see her there!

Toni Gonzaga Endorses COKE ZERO

Fresh from her programs with ABS CBN, this television sweetheart has undoubtedly been quite the NEW MEDIA Queen of her generation. From stints of hosting, dancing, acting and her passion in singing, Toni Gonzaga has transcended what used to be called as an ordinary talent. Coca Cola probably have seen this potential and what good thing doesn't deserve another one right? Well it's just going to get better with this news!

A few days ago, she has been named as the official brand ambassador for COKE ZERO. Yes you guys heard that right! Toni Gonzaga was so proud and happy she was tapped by the brand as their newest endorser.

Toni Gonzaga was so happy Coke Zero got her to endorse the product since she is definitely fond of drinking it. She also said that people should make wise choices, Coke Zero has ZERO SUGAR but the same COKE taste.

She says her tagline in the commercial "HAVE IT ALL" personifies the wish of not depriving yourself of the best things in life. You can have your taste of COKE ZERO and enjoy it with your favorite food items.

She candidly answered questions from Media and bloggers as well. She was really so thin in person. I wonder how she keeps herself healthy these days, she'd probably say COKE ZERO hehe :)

 

Pretty as a whistle. Congratulations Toni Gonzaga! You have made milestones in your career, this endorsement from Coke Zero is definitely something to be proud about. Capisce?!
