Safe to Use Daily: EYE MO Daily Care Formula

Friday, November 05, 2021

EYE MO has been a household brand in the country. It's been used by generations of people over the years. This is available in different countries, and very effective. These days, we know that if you touch an infected surface and rub your own eyes, it can lead to infection. Now they're introducing something that can be used on a daily basis, to clean up dust, pollutants, things we can't see but irritates our eyes. It's important to protect it. But one asks, how do we take care of it?

Don't Smoke

It can form cataracts, also promotes macular degeneration

Practice Safe Hygeine and Social Distancing

Avoid close contact with people

Keep Your Surrounding clean and wear proper eye protection

Wear masks and face shields to be safe, also if government advises you to

Covid can be contacted through the eyes. Avoid rubbing it. Use eyewash that cleans your eyes from foreign particles. Wash your hands, put the dropper on top of your eyes and look up, do one or two drops and wipe the excess. This is done if discomfort is happening. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist. -Dr. Maika Maglapu

Wei Hendarto says "EYE MO has a campaign to educate Filipinos and introduce Eye Mo Daily Care. We have to remember, hygiene is a big deal for Filipinos. In the Philippines, 7 out of 10 wash hands several times daily and 8 out of 10 wash their face everyday. They often also shampoo hair daily, but what about the eyes?"

Eyes are the most important sensory organ. Practicing daily hygiene of the eyes is important. But the habit of doing that is not much known in the country. Covid-19 can be spread through nose, mouth, including our eyes. Eye Mo is announcing their newest product called Eye Mo Daily Care. They've been doing effective educational campaigns since 2017. Eye Mo Daily Care Formula will cleanse eyes and relieve itchiness. Instead of rubbing it, use this variant. Now there are three variants. It soothes the eyes and can be used daily. The importance of taking care of eyes should be taught to the public and they will address it with digital campaigns and press campaigns so more people know about it. They will also be doing CSR campaigns, TV commercials and will launch a brand ambassador for it. I heard it's GMA's Ken Chan.

Ken Chan says "I've always worked hard for my dreams. I care for others, but I also have to care for myself. If you have a healthy body, you can help others. We clean up everything, but not our eyes. It's time to make that happen. With Eye Mo Daily care, I'm happy for being their first brand ambassador. I hope I can encourage a lot of people to take care of their eyes daily."

"It's a dream come true. My whole family has been using this for years now. When I heard the news, I felt so touched and blessed, I am thankful! Working alone makes me exposed with pollution, we also use our eyes a lot. We also have less sleep and it's important to take care of it on a daily basis. The brand has been doing it for a long time and personal hygiene is something that is important even these days during the pandemic. We shouldn't forget the eyes, it is equally important. Sometimes we want to wash it with water, but it's not enough. I carry it even in my tapings, I make sure to make our eyes be clean. I'm excited to share what EYE MO can do. Keep safe and stay healthy!"

That's nice to know, now that something can be used safe daily, I'd like to use it myself. I can't wait to get my hands on EYE MO!

More people have seen the importance of eye health these days as we have become glued to computer monitors just to do business and work this pandemic. Eye care is important and aside from Ophthalmologists, people go to Sarabia Optical for their eye wear.

The company recently just launched a new initiative called "See the Difference, #SeeLifeClearly" campaign aimed to educate Filipinos about eye health and eye care. We have different lifestyles and with that, they want to be the one you go to when you need eyewear for what you do everyday.

Sarabia Optical has been in operation for over 100 years and they want to make sure you see life clearly. Eye strain, blurred vision, things like these can really affect productivity. This is where reading glasses, distance glasses, eye wear that can protect you from blue light actually comes in so you don't go south with work and play. They have lots of frames, graded lenses and FREE eye consultation which you can take advantage of when you're in their store. Aside from that, they've got contact lenses, including the largest one like Essilor, other lens solutions and artificial tears so you can access them when you're in malls or establishments that have Sarabia Optical's name on them. They also have designer frames from Lindberk, Mykita, Randolph, Gotti and Garrett Leight California Optical, Gucci, Givenchy, Cartier, Tom Ford and a multitude of other premium brands in the market.

Sarabia Optical has been an innovator in the optical industry of the country, this is what they've stayed strong since 1906. Currently, they have 23 stores in Luzon, which you can all go to for your eye care needs. All you need to do is be there and ask.

Allison Harvard and Phil Younghusband for Sprinto

Friday, March 28, 2014

Guess who just opened their first kiosk/shop over at The Block at SM North Edsa? Yes, you heard that right, it's Sprinto. They didn't just opened shop, but they also had a couple of surprises in store for those who love their eye wear. They were already letting us have a preview of their current models plus a mere countdown to summer via their Color Clash campaign set here and other cities like Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore.

We gasped at the sight of those sunnies. From classic shades, to shaped ones, aviators and durable sports grade eye wear, Sprinto has got it all. They don't compromise one thing though... and that's quality.

I thought I've seen her before. Oh yes, she's one of the finalists in My Foreignay if I'm not mistaken. She's wearing Sprinto eye wear! Cool!

She even brought her model friends with her. See? It's the perfect thing to wear this summer!

Whether you're out on the beach or just posing away at the mall, Sprinto eye wear would just be the perfect thing to complement your outfit. These ladies looked HOT!

Then, Sprinto's first ever endorsers in the Philippines arrived!

Now you can't say that's only local endorsements if you have Allison Harvard of America's Next Top Model, nor would you discount Phil Younghusband, a famed International Football player adored by fans of the Azkals!

Isn't she pretty? I love her! Isn't Phil Younghusband good looking? :)

There's a drawback having eyes like Allison's because she can't really stay outside and frolic in the sun like the rest of us. She needs better protection for her eyes, so this really is a good endorsement for her. It's meant to be! Still, don't we just love her blue eyes?! :)

Phil on the other hand stays out in the sun for hours because of the games he play. If he can, he really makes it a point to wear Sprinto eye wear when that happens. It's his first line of protection when there's harmful UV rays.

Fashion wise, Allison says she stays with Sprinto because it doesn't just look good on her but the quality is something that she'd be proud of when endorsing this brand. She is simple, but when she goes for those andorgenous looks she's well known for, Sprinto can still be wearable. Perfect for models like her!

I can see its Hot!

Thursday, April 29, 2010

I just heard over the news that we had the hottest day registered today in Manila. It is a whopping 38.7 degrees Celsius and there have been reports of people dying from sun stroke because of the heat. Unfortunately I do not have anything to protect my eyes from the bright blinding sun. It is also advisable to have sun glasses that deflect UV rays that damage delicate parts of the eye. I would really love to also avoid having cancer since there are studies that directly looking at the sun and the damages associate with it can also cause this. I have tried numerous times to get one myself but cheap ones here in Manila cost a lot and quality wise you would not really be impressed.

Good thing there are on line stores that sell cheaper ones like ZENNI Optical. The elimination of the middle man made everything more affordable and if you see how much that would benefit people who need prescription and fashionable eyeglasses, it wouldn't be as close as you may have estimated it would be. Have you seen designer grade ones for 8 dollars? How about high quality frames that would sell less than 10 dollars?! There are a lot of places where you can source this but only a few can match the prices these on line stores have. It's the best buy you can ever have for a pair of spectacles.

My Eyes Hurt

Monday, April 12, 2010

I don't know what's wrong with me but this has been bugging me since this morning. I have high blood pressure I guess but this time, my eyes hurt... and it hurts a lot. I have been trying to sleep it off since it maybe that I am just tired but I am not that sleepy anymore so I'm trying to look for things with these symptoms. My doctor named google LOL just told me a lot of things but I probably should visit a real doctor soon.

I didn't know there was high blood pressure in the eyes and most probably I will be able to know what went wrong with mine after I go out of gym tomorrow. I haven't been working out for the longest time. I think it has been about 3 weeks already. I probably am wasting hardearned money on monthly dues but I have to make these things available for me whenever I get the itch to go back and workout again. I just hate it when I can't... because I am either too sleepy or too stressed from work already that I don't have the energy to lift weights or run for a while. The problem is, I even drink beer right after I go out of gym. I even smoke on some instances. I need to go back and do a healthy lifestyle. I am trying you know!

I'll visit the clinic later. Maybe get some sort of first aid on this thing because it still hurts. I hope it is nothing serious. I'll have my blood pressure checked just to make sure. I hope it is not related to my high blood findings last corporate checkup. I mean I am kinda used to them saying that I am. I just don't like them pushing it. =P

iLASIK and LASIK: In the Military and NASA

Saturday, September 06, 2008

It's really nice looking at a child's eyes and how their innocent little face light up each time we hear them laugh and cry. Eye care is now and forever will be first in our list. To see colors, people and places. We all should really enjoy life. I had a friend who did not enjoy most of her high school and college life because she could not see well. She had thick glasses all the time. When LASIK technology became available in the Philippines (American Eye Correction Center, Manila) she underwent the procedure and not just became a productive citizen of this country. She’s a very happy person now.

US Government Agencies and the US Military take this to heart. Having their men take eye treatments is prioritized. With the missions and projects they have to go to, this is necessary. The US Military have snipers and gunmen treated with LASIK Surgery to improve their eyesight and have them back to 20/20 vision. This is of up most importance. In the line of duty; they need to see very clearly. How and why would they shoot enemies of the state if this wasn't done right? It makes sense.

NASA uses internal experiments to improve this technology like an Eye Tracking Device (ETD) which will determine the influence of prolonged microgravity and the accompanying vestibular (inner ear) adaptation on the orientation of Listing's Plane (a coordinate framework, as deep as that sounds its just used to define the movement of the eyes in the head. Studies like these and other experiments are being funded by the US Government for the benefit of the general public. Eye treatment advancements are now available for all like this all-laser form of LASIK which exceeds measurements of standards and effectiveness. The procedure is very safe as improvements were done with the help of these agencies and the Department of Defense. LASIK technology known as iLASIK™ procedures use two lasers instead of one. This is a big improvement than in earlier versions of the procedure.

Military experiments show 95% achieved 20/20 uncorrected vision or better with this new LASIK treatment. Americans (about 12 million of them) now enjoy the benefits of the program says Dr. Schallorn which heads proponents of this project. LASIK information is now available for everyone. Now isn't that a sight for sore eyes?!
