JV Ejercito Pushes for Universal Health Care Implementation, Housing and More as he runs for Senate

Tuesday, April 12, 2022

J
V Ejercito has done a remarkable job in the Senate. For those who don't know, he's done several landmark bills including the Universal Health Care Law which aims to alleviate the burden of paying for hospital and ailment care for Filipinos nationwide. It would give apt health services, provide assistance in medical emergencies, but it needs time for full implementation hence, his hunger to go back to the Senate.

It really is a no brainer because aside from the actual groundwork in medical institutions and government agencies, it needs funding and he plans to have it sourced from projects that have not been able to utilize funds by putting them all together. He also have pointed out things that can be addressed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes the lack of medical facilities, rightful benefits for frontliners, healthcare workers and mismanagement of the PhilHealth program and this could be addressed by the Universal Healthcare Law which he authored. He also have put importance in Housing, Education and the Youth, Job Opportunities, Agriculture and Transportation which would benefit a lot of Filipinos especially now where we're all trying to revive the economy.

He also addressed rumors about laws and statements that have been misunderstood by the transport sector in the past, so it was actually good to ask him about that in person. Being an independent candidate, he's very glad that he got the support of Senators from different parties. Aside from that, it was extra difficult to campaign this year and told us about the hardships he's had and yes, it was a little difficult for him and his family why he wasn't supported by the parties he was expecting to carry him this year. All that is in this video plus THE GOOD ONE telling us about his projects:

You've got 12 Senators to choose this coming May, the stakes are high and if you choose the Senator who made this all happen... that would be a good one.

Multinational Business Growth set To Increase Residential Home Demand in Bataan

Wednesday, February 23, 2022

I
t's been two years since the pandemic hit the Philippines and with even bigger fervor, the country is set to bounce back from it's economic setbacks. If you're aware of PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority) and the things they do to promote the country as a business destination, they are doing legwork in Bataan which is also boosting demand for residential homes in the province.

The said agency has attracted Taiwanese businesses to put up shop in the region and this will benefit not just qualified Filipinos from Manila, but also the locals which reside in the province. That growth will spur the need for more homes and BRIA Homes has seen that need in their Mariveles and Hermosa municipality properties which are some of their 50 plus projects in the country.

Development in the region has been much awaited and this growth will make BRIA Homes Bataan a wise and economically sound option especially as these companies make the municipalities more vibrant and great place to work in the coming years. Fron Family Friendly Fixtures like sports and recreational facilities, secured spaces, you're bound to love that BRIA property near you.

This also comes with nearby educational institutions which make this place a liveable one. If you're starting a family, or want them to go to good schools, you can choose from various institutions like Mariveles National High School, PUP Bataan, Balanga State University, Limay Polytechnic College among others. There's also churches like Cabcaben Catholic Chuch and INC Cabcaben too for the religious. For the shopaholics, there's VistaMall Bataan, Puregold Cabcaben and Mariveles Market for native flair.

Quality and best value for homes that would make a great investment and place to start a family, that's what BRIA Homes brings. There's a lot more in their portfolio so if you don't like one, there's another one that you would love. If you want to see them all, just head on to bria.com.ph or their Facebook page Bria Homes Inc. Other social channels like Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Spotify and others are available, just look up their mobile 09398879637 and they'll be standing by to receive your call.

Sunday, February 06, 2022

P
ayMaya has always been a convenient solution for me when paying for bills, groceries, even game cards when I need it. These days, they're bringing even more services to the app that now includes government agencies and give you perks.

PayMaya accepts payments of Social  Security System, Pag-IBIG Fund, PRC, BIR, and you can do this via the new Bills Bayad Promo. If you pay these through the app during February 1 to March 31st (for first timers) you can get a 10% cashback voucher for it. If you've done it in the past, no worries because you can get 5% cashback for it instead. That means, you can get almost Php 200 cashback by doing it on these dates.

It could be contributions, housing amortizations, professional fees, taxes all in one place. You can also go through their official websites and pay via PayMaya. Aside from cashback rewards, you can use a Php 100 voucher to take out of your total payment by using the code BILLSBAYAD when you register, you can also load up in 60,000 partner agent touchpoints around the country to do it. Other than that, you can always tie up your bank through the app and cash in that way which is so convenient for me. You can check PayMaya.com or SmartPadala.ph for more information about it. They've got it all there!

Ohmyhome Shares Pointers How To Pick Your Dream Home

Wednesday, March 03, 2021

What's your dream? For me, just like any Filipino, is to buy a dream home. It could be for your Mom, your own family, and these days there's really a lot of things to be considered in choosing that perfect place to call your own.

OhmyHome has been in the real estate industry for years now and their expertise in countries like Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines has always been a welcome thing especially for those who are getting their first one. They shared some of the things property owners should know before they purchase one, some really sensible items before taking that big plunge!

1. Get to know Property Investments

An informed decision is always the best decision. People who need to buy huge ticket items such as a house need to make sure they get the information they need to a certain property before they take the leap. The fund for this isn't a joke and good thing OhmyHome's platform can choose what price range you can work with, location, and amount of appraisal it gets especially for those that need work aka renovation and fees.

2. Source of Funds

When you purchase a property, you need to be sure you can actually pay for it because it would be troublesome if you won't be able to sustain paying for mortgage for a longer period of time. You have to choose payment methods, schemes where you can not just pay lightly, but save a lot in the long run. You can also ask for flexibility, so if you run into issues with paying on time, you can ask for a little lee way and fix commitments and obligations as it will be a lengthy one. If you can, purchase with up front cash and ask for huge discounts, as they'll be getting the property worth faster and more convenient.

3. Be Prepared To Take Care of It

Your space, your rules, but you have to make sure you have the time and effort to take good care of it. Maintenance also costs a lot, but it is essential. If you can't, it will be a small problem that will accumulate over the years, so it is important. If you're ready to commit, then by all means, go!

4. Family First

Before you make every place in your house ridden with 65 inch TV screens, connected to smart appliances and become a theater, think about the most imporant people in your life (aside from yourself of course). Your loved ones need a good kitchen, rooms, parking space, a garden to roam around and it would be bad if they'd haunt you for years because they couldn't live in it. A peaceful house, is a dream house. Be generous because they loved you back.

5. Keep it Simple

Choosing a house can be complicated for some, but you can make it simple. Use the available tools that you can fit in your smartphone, to make it a pleasant experience especially if you're deciding where to live for years. The OhmyHome wesbite and app for instance has options to make it a good one. Giving you the right information, without any disparities when you see it in person, makes it the home you deserve. Their tools are intuitive, so you get what you need and more. They also have agent services which can cover all other bases if you still need to confirm things and ask questions. That's pretty remarkable.

If you want to know more, visit their official website https://ohmyhome.com/en-ph or download the app Google Play or the App Store as it's all there!

There's a BRIA for Everyone

Thursday, May 02, 2019

I am not alone when I say I want to live in my own house, with my own family, and be in a community that would help them get the education, fun and experience they need. Affordable housing these days isn't as easy as it seems especially when they get you to shell out huge down payments and monthly amortization cutting an arm and a leg when you need it for other things like food and water, your everyday needs.
One of the biggest affordable housing developers in the country offers prices that go Php 1897.00 a month which makes it possible for blue collar workers, construction people, teachers, OFW's and those starting a family to get their own home in major cities of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
You can visit their sites and choose to live at Urdaneta Pangasinan, Paniqui Tarlac, Magalang and San Fernando Pampanga, Mariveles and Hermosa Bataan, GenTri, Trece Martires and Indang Cavite, Balayan and Lipa Batangas, Plaridel, Malolos, Sta. Maria, San Jose Del Monte and Norzagaray in Bulacan, Teresa, Binangonan and Baras Rizal, Calauan, Calamba and Sta. Cruz, Alaminos and Bay Laguna, Pili and Iriga in Camarines Sur too.

If you are from the Visayas and Mindanao area, don't fret because they also have properties available in Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental, Calbayog in Samar, Ormoc City in Leyte, Cagayan de Oro, Balingasag and Ginoog in Misamis Oriental, Manolo Fortich and Valencia in Bukidnon, Tagum, Panabo and Carmen in Davao del Norte,  Davao City and Digos in Davao del Sur, Kidapawan in North Cotabato and GenSan in South Cotabato. These are guarded and gated communities too so you know your family is safe even if you're out of the country.

Every BRIA home comes with a community Basketball Court, Play and Recreational Areas so you can have fun even if you don't leave the place. Square footage is apt, easy to pay with bank financing or PagIbig Fund so you do have choices.

There is indeed a BRIA for everyone!

Today is World Habitat Day!

Monday, October 06, 2014

Trooped down Bistekville 1 in Payatas, Quezon City with Habitat for Humanity Online Champions and the Habitat for Humanity people so we could lend a hand fixing up houses for the beneficiaries of Barangay Silangan in Quezon City. It was a morning to afternoon affair but the weather was very kind to us, and the project was on its way to be done by some of Manila's awesomest (if there's such a word) digital influencers.

Today is a day of action. October 6 is the WORLD HABITAT DAY where people dedicate themselves again for the cause, because they believe that everybody deserves a decent place to live in. They also believe that getting adequate housing will bring profound changes to the lives of individuals and communities. It's also true that if these people have a decent place to live in they would also be able to break the cycle of poverty, promote better health and school performance, create wealth and savings, and increase safety and stability. Imagine how much lives you can save just by giving them decent shelter, they would be productive members of the community together with their families. Isn't that enough reason to volunteer with Habitat For Humanity Philippines?

During the build, good looking endorser Chris Tiu also prepared a basketball clinic together with the his crew so the kids of the community get involved in worthwhile activities even at a young age. I've seen quite a number of them thinking to be basketball players already because they get inspired playing ball this early. He did some shooting, dribbling and passing exercises which will be beneficial in teaching them the scientific way of playing ball.

We also visited a couple of houses and their beneficiaries to take a look at how their lives have improved after getting their own house from Habitat For Humanity Philippines and their projects. They also teach each one of them something that would be able to make them earn a living even when they're inside the community. Indeed, they are thriving.

If you haven't been a volunteer yet, this is the right time to do it. Please visit http://www.habitat.org.ph to know more about the ways you can help. A large part of your donation will go to the materials in building houses for our less fortunate countrymen who are in dire need of our help. You can also call them directly if you want to volunteer, they'll schedule you and provide materials for the build much like how we did it. It's not impossible, you can help!
