iStudio Plus Starts Coffee Sessions: More Products In Store!

Wednesday, October 08, 2025

Just attended the coffee session of iStudio Plus at their 3rd Floor Gateway Mall branch in Quezon City. It's a venue to collaborate, talk amongst tech brands at their space in the mall. For starters, we got to know the folks from Insta360 and Ecoflow power stations (under Enabled). We also talked to the folks from DIVOOM speakers.

EcoFlow is the number one power station brand in the world. They are tech driven and eco friendly made for individuals, family and those who need them. They are present in tech conventions around the world and has impressed award giving bodies for design and tech. Their prime products include the EcoFlow River 3, which is a ups and takes an hour to charge. It's also waterproof and very compact, perfect for travels. They are 30 percent smaller than competitors. They also have River 3 Max Plus which can be stacked, if you need double the capacity then this is perfect for you because it is modular. They also have the bigger EcoFlow DELTA 3 Series, a bit bigger and has bigger output of 1800W. Products cost 35-69K. They have bigger ones for homes that have 4000W. It can also be expanded, best for homes if you want something off the grid. They also have the EcoFlow Trail 300+ to launch in the PH soon (November), which you can use in camping trips. Costs 10-15K.

The best 360 camera in the world is also available in iStudio Plus, the Insta360. It's got all day and all night angles, very good in low light. It has enhanced replaceable lenses, can do 8K videos, 208 minute battery life, waterproof at 15m. The Ace Pro 2 on the other hand has AI capability, better quality videos and can be used for filming. It's more of an action camera than a vlogging one. The battery also lasts 180mins but can be charged fast. Their flagship camera is the Insta360 GO ULTRA. It's got Ultra HD videos for day and night shots, magnetic mounts, longer battery life at 200 minutes, do underwater shots, and fast charging for 12 minutes. It also has AI editing and cloud so you can edit while traveling. Even if you are not a pro it can do the legwork and make it for you. They also have the devices packaged for creators with sticks and mounts for motorcycles too.

Divoom speakers are quite different because it's made with art and pixels in mind. Their newest one is the Times Frame, a digital picture frame that also displays video done through the Divoom app. It also has clocks, widgets, customized edge lights so it can be the star of your show (in the bedroom or elsewhere). They also have retro speakers like the Ditoo 5M which can be displayed with pixel art. It also has Karaoke mode so you can take it out on parties. If you want something cute, the Dipow 65 would fit you, it has an LED screen and can stand like a character, or the DIPOW 35 if you want something smaller that you can attach to a phone or power plug. They also have a Times Gate model which has a larger display, something fancy for rooms or decor. They have the very popular Cyberbag that has displays on the back, I've seen that in motorcyclists. It's super cool! If you want something smaller, they also have the Cyberbag M or the Pixoo Sling Bags that you can pair with your phone app and use for display. The Spark Pro on the other hand can be the Karaoke arsenal to have, it's got superb audio and very portable. If you need something smaller,  they have the Fairy or Spark Pop (which I personally use in the shower to enjoy hours of music!).

Here's a tour of the place, enjoy!

Now if you need Apple or non Apple products, you can go to iStudio Plus branches near you. You can also inquire on their Facebook page if you need more information about these devices too.

Celebrating Women's Month with Mary Rose Marbil: A Story of Love, Compassion, Family and Service

Monday, March 03, 2025

She was all smiles when she went in. Donned in a white crisp top, hair tucked back and a presence I couldn't put to words. She has this presence signifying power, poise, posture that make known strictness. But once she uttered words, it felt like we were welcomed home, like no strangers... getting a warm hug.

She's the beautiful Ms. Mary Rose Marbil, loving wife to PNP Chief Rommel Francisco Marbil and caring mother to recently engaged Robyn Marie Marbil. She's also the PNP OLC Foundation, Inc. (previously Officer's Ladies Club) Adviser, an honor she doesn't treat as an obligation, but an opportunity to help through charitable causes, now geared to help PNP Personnel and their families. This is also something that she is passionate about.

Photo from the PNP OLC Foundation, Inc. Facebook Page

This strong disposition must have come from somewhere, so I asked about who she gets the inspiration from. She immediately answered her Mom. She says "The woman who made a big impact is my Mom. Not just because she is my Mom, but because of how she is, and how she handled things. She's always objective about things. When we got married, we stayed with her for 3 years. She didn't want me to stay in PSG quarters because there would be a lot of chismis there. It might have been difficult to have 2 queens in one castle, but it wasn't with her. If there are conflicts, she never asked why, but just be present and be there for me. Even with the siblings, she's the most level headed. That's my Mom."

With the PNP OLC Foundation, Inc., she was involved in spearheading their ongoing project called LAB Virus (which they coined from Love and Blessings). She usually goes with the PNP Chief in various locations in the country but didn't participate much in efforts. With the project, she was able to start helping PNP personnel and their beneficiaries. With the foundation, she didn't have to wait for a regional visit to help people. It also rarely happens, and this was able to put them in a more pro-active state.

The foundation sought help from health services to identify over 500 individuals that are critically ill. This was a huge number, even the Chief PNP was surprised. Much of them were suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease and needs lengthy dialysis treatments in their respective regions. They provided them needed financial assistance that would help for medical bills and for their daily spend.

While it was a huge help, they wanted their actions to also be more sustainable. One of the regional leaders in Cebu was teaching life skills in making soap. It's a business they could easily teach PNP personnel and their beneficiaries, so they could fend for themselves, and put food on the table after getting help from the PNP OLC Foundation, Inc. Very soon, they will also be teaching and giving away business kits to street sweepers in Camp Crame. They are excited to do this in Manila/Laguna too.

Here's our interview with Ms. Mary Rose a few days ago:

Spreading love with every touch, the PNP OLC Foundation, Inc. is continuously going around regions including BARMM. With help from private individuals who signified support through their organization, they would be able to lend a hand to more people especially PNP personnel and their families.

Recently, they also had a concert with singing PNP personnel to raise funds for the foundation. They also get help from individuals, other foundations (and the public) so they could come to the aid of more people in times of need. Her experience in the corporate world has helped her organize a structured operation to cater the underprivileged. They now have officers that will be able to continue efforts and ensure it would be addressed after her term. This is such a selfless and noble task, but she finds insurmountable fulfillment doing this.

Her message to women out there, "There's always something you can do. You're not just a wife, let's not limit ourselves to what people think you can do. We are limitless, especially as women. It shouldn't be a hindrance, I even think there's more power in that. We have our charm, use it to move and make things happen. With our talents, we can use it for the welfare of the people around us. Do what you need to do!" Her story of love, compassion, her family and the service the foundation does for others is so inspiring.

Thank you for sharing your time Ms. Rose, it was certainly a pleasure getting to know you!

No More POWER Worries with the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G

Wednesday, April 24, 2024

It's been a while since I've held a bowling ball, but I think I still got the hang of it. This goes the same with the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G, a brand that's pretty well known for their GT gaming line (and official MLBB handset). Needless to say, these folks take the phone game seriously because they address things you need and still be innovative.

The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G took only a few minutes to charge while we were playing. With its 100W Fast Charging (wired) and 20W Wireless Charging, you can use the phone for your professional or creative tasks even if you're in a jiffy. Best of all, it's not clunky and didn't have to sacrifice its "looks" because it's so sleek, professional looking and very pretty.

How fast you say? The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G gets to 50 percent of power in just 8 minutes courtesy of its Hyper Mode. The device also has a low temp mode to make sure it stays cool even when it's too hot outside. If you prefer a balance between the two, Smart Mode is the answer so you don't have to sacrifice form or function.

This MagCharge accessory comes with the phone, so you can do Wireless Charging!

They also had us get acquainted with their new brand ambassador, someone feisty, tough, gorgeous and sexy from any angle. She is actress and YouTube star Ivana Alawi... who just like their phones, looks good and full of energy.

These phones (4G) and the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G will be launched today in online shopping platforms and their authorized kiosks (in malls and stores nationwide). If you want to know more about the phones, follow their official page and join their community on Facebook. Albeit my first time working with an Infinix phone, I really like this Infinix Note 40 series. It's classy, and won't make you worry about losing power when you are in the creative mood.

Manoeuvres, Streetboys, Universal Motion Dancers, Power People and Kidz@Work Headline "THE SIGN" 90's SUPERSHOW!

Thursday, April 11, 2024

If you're still in the mood to reminisce about the 90's, you're in for a treat! The biggest dance groups during that era is finally having a dance concert called "THE SIGN" 90's Supershow this coming April 19th at the ALIW Theater in Pasay City.

Tito's and Titas will love what the Manoeuvres, Streetboys, Universal Motion Dancers, Power people and Kidz@Work have prepared on this date. Expect them to perform their signature dance numbers and the iconic hit songs that spelled a generation we wouldn't forget. Other performers include fellow 90's groups like Team 90's, Wildcat Queens, BMAD, Dyna Turbo, Teensquad, BIGMEN, Katz22, Black&White, Abstract Dancers plus special guests Blain and Mastermind.

As stellar as that list may sound, this concert is being done for the benefit of several dance groups that they are supporting. After holding a dance competition at the 1322 Bar and Lounge, WCQ Productions and Management noticed that some of the participants really needed help. Some had to travel far, slept outside, and didn't have a place to practice at all. It was heartbreaking to see them try to make ends meet.

Their passion is unquestionable, which is why they believe that providing opportunities for these dance groups would be the right thing to do. Proceeds of this dance concert will be given to them so they could have facilities, the skills to become better at their craft in order to nurture the next generation of dancers in the country. They were really emotional while telling us about the story.

Here's the press conference held at Farmers Plaza in Araneta City.

THE SIGN: 90's Supershow is directed by Kiko Cabarloc and Arnel Caranto. As discussed during the presser, they will have their groups perform individually. They also plan to do a dance number where everyone will be joining in. This is quite exciting especially for people who miss the times they went to clubs and discos. The competitive fan base of these different groups should definitely show up at the ALIW Theater as they promise to BRING IT on the dance floor.

Spencer Reyes will also be flying to the Philippines from the UK this coming April 13. That's a few days before the 26 play date. He's quite excited to see his brothers from Streetboys, and the other guys from the other dance groups.

Here's a short talk we had with him that afternoon.

If you wish to get tickets, please visit the Tickelo website at TICKELO: https://www.tickelo.com/the-sign-90s-supershow . If you want to support the show as a sponsor, you may message or call them via 09660696014 or their social channels. Just look for WildCat Queens Productions and Management Inc. on Facebook. They also encourage those who have talent in singing and dancing (especially the talented ones who need help) to get in touch with them online too.

This would not be possible without the help of their sponsors namely Wolfgang's Steakhouse, The Red Crab, 1322 Bar and Lounge, Wild Seafood atbp., Erjohn Almark Transit Corporation, Wildcat Queens Travel and Tours Limited, Mak Media, SG Vibes, Farmer’s Plaza, Tickelo, Wildcat Queens Recording Studio and Wild Knights Band. Again, if you want to be a part of this cause, and wish to enjoy music and dance of the 90's, make sure you take the trip to ALIW Theater in Pasay City and see THE SIGN: 90's Supershow!

KATRINA VELARDE Readies For "The Z-CON: The Gen Z Icons Concert"

Friday, March 22, 2024

The world class power belter Katrina Velarde is going to make your April days even more awesome as she does "KATRINA The Z-CON: The Gen Z Icons Concert" to be held on April 13, 8pm at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati.

For those asking why it's ZCon, it's because they want to cater to Gen Z's who's supporting her today. She's been very hands on, using her own team to do arrangements, covers, even on YouTube. Although they cater to any music genre, everyone will certainly relate to the music of the 90's and 2000's. She's going to do it with her own spin on things.

Talking to her a few days ago, Katrina feels the pressure (mounting this concert) because it's been 4 years since she last had one. Though she admits, she likes this pressure and anxiety. She asserts these are challenges that could further improve her skills.

Katrina says "I'm so happy that we're doing this to promote my concert, I've had the chance to do this in ASAP and Showtime, and it's been a while since I've had one. It's like my body is looking for it, this is a big production and I'm happy to work with JM Yosures, Reiven Umali, Khimo Gumatay and Sam Mangubat. My reach has always been with Gen Z's and I've prepared a lot for this one."

She adds "It's not just going to be with Gen Z's though because I want people to relate with music from the 90's and 2000's, but we're doing it with a different flavor. I'm eager to do this all, coming from the pandemic days, we wanted to have more mediums of entertainment. I realized when the pandemic happened people still wanted to see us for entertainment, and now that we're back, I'm happy."

Imagine if she wasn't around during the pandemic, we all would have been in a rut. A lot of people listened to her songs during her live streams. Truly, it was a place to be thankful during those times because as singers, they rose to the occasion and gave us the needed entertainment we craved for at home.

Like so many singers, she's inspired by the one and only Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez. When they performed in previous shows, she froze and just looks at her. It's so nice to see that her dreams did come true. To be able to work with her inspiration, she must have been ecstatic. Here's more of what happened at the press conference for the "KATRINA The Z-CON: The Gen Z Icons Concert"

On this part 2, she had our jaws drop with a few songs she sang a capella

She's very down to earth, and has already impressed a lot of people with her covers, original songs and this concert would definitely be a nice avenue to see how she's come a long way. Tickets are sold via Ticketworld so secure them now. This is produced by AQUEOUS ENTERTAINMENT and ABBA Productions.

Gogoro Philippines Launch New Experience Store in Makati

Tuesday, November 07, 2023

It's a nice morning to celebrate new things as Gogoro Philippines just launched their new Gogoro Experience Store at the Greenbelt 3 in Makati City. The event was held at Ayala Museum with executives coming from the Ayala Corporation, Globe, GCash, 917 Ventures, Gogoro Taiwan, Gogoro Philippines, the Taiwanese Embassy in Manila and various stakeholders were in attendance to take a first glimpse of what will be launched and supposed to be sold next month. This is quite nice that they thought of making sure you experience riding, looking at the actual Electronic Vehicle first before they release it to the market.

Bernie Llamzon the President and CEO of GOGOGRO Philippines "It's a testament to urban mobility. Why are we opening the experience center? It's all about connection, and who stands to benefit from it, YOU. It's a bridge, we are opening our doors today so you can touch, feel and understand Gogoro. We are cultivating a community and it is an invitation for you to become part of the story. Your engagement and feedback will be part of our commercial launch next month. Welcome to the future of mobility, welcome to the new Gogoro Experience Center."

This is one of Ayala's projects in order to move to electric vehicles. Cesar Consing the CEO and President of the Ayala Corporation says "We do it across our companies, and this initiative of going green is something we take seriously. Gogoro is just an extension of that, we are going to lead the charge to EV's. That's what we are doing here, and this partnership of Gogoro and Globe, brought this EV brand in the Philippines. It's green, ecosystem and partnership that we are offering. We hope you like what you'll see."

Horace Luke the founder and CEO of Gogoro says "I've dreamed of this in 2011, we are now extending to outside Taiwan. Thank you to Ernest Cu of Globe who believes in me, and we know the world is going to two wheel and three wheel vehicles now. Thank you to the Gogoro Philippines team and the Taiwan team who worked tirelessly these past few years to bring this product to the PH. The electricity is sustainable, and recyclable parts are being used to make the footprint lower. We look forward to see what we built enable this vision in this country."

Ernest Cu the CEO of Globe says "When I saw this in Taiwan years ago, it was super nice. I didn't like bikes back then, EV was also too far from the Philippines. We timed our entry to the country, like GCash, no one was solving the problem and we only scaled it 6 years ago. The smartphone penetration was not as good, and when the pandemic hit we began working on it even more to become financially inclusive. Majority of Filipinos don't have plugs, the one minute swap is like prepaid... And we are the prepaid kings in the country. Now it is all paid electronically through GCash. It's different, and seamless now as it goes through the backbone of Globe and it's partners. Let us see the new Gogoro Experience Center, we want this to be perfect and hope you become our first customer."

You may also ask for a test drive as arrangements can be made, they also will explain to you the battery swapping mechanics so you could conveniently do it via their Gogoro Network power stations. The Smartscooters we saw on display was the Gogoro SuperSport, Gogoro VIVA and the Gogoro S1. Though they will make sure that the Gogoro 2 Premium and the Gogoro Delight will also be available in the Philippines.

You may visit the new Gogoro Experience Store at the 2nd level of Greenbelt 3, turn right when you enter through the bridge from Landmark (location of former Globe store).

ANNE CURTIS, JANE DE LEON Headline Powerful Campaign with Smart

Tuesday, August 16, 2022

This afternoon was a powerful one as Smart took us on us on a ride on what it feels like if you've got The Power of Smart.

One thing to say is that they were really ecstatic by winning the Best Mobile Network Award they got from Ookla. This is the first time the company is giving an award like that and Smart is maknig history. This also happened after Smart got Fastest Mobile Network and Best Mobile Coverage in the first two quarters so they're also giving Filipinos some powerful treat.

Headlining their campaign the Power of Smart, are two industry heroines and actresses Anne Curtis and this generation's Darna Jane De Leon. Anne by the way has been a loyal Smart subscriber and ambassador for a little over 10 years now and Jane on the other hand is just starting big especially as ratings this evening with Darna was unbelievable! Both women are iconic and surely, showing us how to work on our dreams and achieving it. Jane is changing her life as we speak and she's quite happy to be part of the Smart family because she says "It empowers me to do what I want!".

Smart also showed how Filipinos are now enjoying 5G speeds in different areas in the country to not only consume data, but create photos, videos, content that could be enjoyed by family, friends, and the public. Smart promises to work on faster speeds, so you their subscribers would be able to accomplish more especially at these times. I've been using my smart line for years now and it has accompanied me in different places in the country. I see the immense improvement even on the islands, imagine what you could do with videos, music, or games if you can play anywhere without a hitch!

Congratulations to Smart, to Anne Curtis and Jane De Leon who's now making their powerful moves. Here's wishing everyone does too!

Huawei Philippines Participates in CEPSI 2021: Pushing Greener Solutions in Power Production and Management

Friday, November 05, 2021

Tech giant Huawei Philippines just recently announced their participation in CEPSI 2021 which is the Conference of the Electricity Power Supply Industry which happened yesterday. It aims to bring action in sustainable power production in the region and encourages social inclusiveness for their efforts. In the event, Huawei Philippines VP and CMO of Huawei Digital Power Dr. Fang Luangzhou shared information about how the company is moving for low carbon and smart societ using digital ways.

Over 44 countries have already joined the global mission of being carbon neutral. They believe this is what's going to happen in the coming decades which includes those who produce power, consume and even industries that would want to upgrade their hardware. It's going to be beneficial not just for the entities, but the world if we get involved in their mission of being carbon neutral. They identified it to come from Electricity production, manufacturing and transportation. Getting transportation to use electric power and produced it in low carbon emitting ways would be good for the earth. It will also lessen costs in the long run which will benefit more industries who depend on these old power producing systems. They suggest off grid solutions like those who utilize sun or wind to make them. They also have green ways to manage them, it will make their research (10 years and over 90 Billion spent for it) even better as it will be utilized by the greater public. Huawei looks forward to have a greener future.

We can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next few years!

The Truth About Unsolicited Proposals

Tuesday, October 26, 2021

H
ow's your electricity bill these days? Still high? Ever felt the need to see that bill low? Properly managed? I'm sure you do. Well, I've stumbled across something that may interest you since we're all consumers.

National Coordinator for Kuryente.org Nic Satur Jr. says "The unsolicited proposal will hinder competition, and provide corruption, bring misinformation in the bidding process. This was created for consumers to get the lowest cost. We'll now have a bidding under the mercy of power producers, remember, our bill has almost half of its cost from generation. The existing process makes it allow everyone to bid, and the unsolicited proposal can be done with terms for reference which will be made by the power producer themselves. Unsolicited Proposal is currently used in other projects, and to bring more players and technologies, they wanted to push for this. It is legal, but not needed, it will bring us back to a time where they get non-negotiated deals. If I am the power producer, I will just fix terms and challenge it with the price I want to win and disqualify other power producers. We're not saying this will lead to corruption, but if not done right, it will. At present, the Philippines is not ready for it, nor does it need it. The House Resolution 1874 should be discussed, to create implementing rules and regulation as its present form is very prone to sweetheart deals that would be detrimental to the consumer. The Filipino consumer will suffer."

Kuryente.org was created for energy consumer welfare and Amin or Anak Mindanao Partylist just issued a joint statement together with stakeholders, consumers and media entities aware of this:

Amihilda Sangcopan says "I join you today not just as a legislator but a member of electric power consumers. Amin has filed House Resolution 1874 to conduct investigation into DOE, to reconsider to amend its policy on competitive selection process in the power supply, entertaining unsolicited proposals that will breed unfair competition. It will hinder access to affordable electricity guaranteed by our constitution Article 12."

Ricky Juab, Mindanao based consumer adds "The situation of Misamis Oriental is really hard especially for electric cooperatives even now during the pandemic. We consumers wish that every policy that the government does, our side would be heard. We are suffering in Misamis Oriental, where our cooperative has failed to give supply electricity and we experience blackouts, most of which are fluctuating, breaking most of our household appliances... everyday we have been experiencing it, until now. Even informed, we still are experiencing power outages, but still getting the same bill. We sometimes get double, this happens with other consumers in Mindanao. DOE wants Unsolicited Proposal, which will disable most of our safeguards. It is prone to corruption, to follow their terms and conditions. Prices will get worse, so we consumers implore DOE to stop it. This is inhumane and improper."

Parent Mel Salda gave her thoughts and say "The pandemic pushed us all to work remotely. Working as a Virtual Assistant, it has increased our energy consumption, increased cost of living. DOE should ease our burden instead of adding to it. Unsolicited Proposal is going to get us to pay for an even higher price for electricity in Asia. This would be a burden to single parents like me."

It's good that they are doing this very early and not just reacting to it when it gets implemented. Just like them, I'd like to see relief for the Filipino people. If you want to know more about the energy sector and consumer protection, you may visit Kuryente.org who's part of the movement.

MERALCO Announces Lower Rates This February

Thursday, February 20, 2020

Have you felt the difference? I know I did. My Meralco bill arrived this month and it looks like there's good news because for the second month in a row, the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced that there is a decrease in power rates for the month of February.

The overall rate for a typical household consuming 200kWh (much like in my home) decreased by Php 0.59 to Php 8.86 per kilowatt hour (kWh). This is at its lowest level in two years. Last month, they had it at Php 9.45 per kWh which is a significant drop in price. This means that in a household like mine, you will get a decrease on our bill of around Php 118 for the total electricity bill this month. This js because of the new Power Supply Agreements that they did last December 26th. They got the ability to choose cheaper electricity suppliers by partnering with specific ones like San Miguel Energy Corporation, South Premiere Power Corporation and AC Energy who charger less than others, hence the lower Generation Charges reflecting on your bill.

This is quite smart as it resulted in back-to-back rate decreases at P1.00 per kWh since the start of the year. This hasn't happened in the last 5 years. Add to that, some charges from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) (where we buy our power supply) seem to be also lower this month, that's good news!

What happens with these lower cost electricity sourced from PSAs is that you can save a lot, plus after using energy-efficient appliances and devices at home, you can save even more! The money you save can go to payment of other bills, utilities, or food on the table.

Summer is also near, which means it will be doubly hard to generate with our Hydro plants, Meralco urges us consumers and businesses to practice energy efficiency initiatives. Even at your own home for example. Make sure to unplug appliances when not in use. Some of them still consume power even in sleep or standby mode. If you have air-conditioning at home, put it at mid-setting or around 25 degrees Celsius. That's going to be sufficient enough to keep your room cold and habitable. Consult electricians on how to use a power strip which can supply power to several appliances all at once. You can also opt to use natural light during daytime, photos and portraits look good on them anyway. Keep appliances well-maintained especially air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance, it makes your spot cool faster because the filters are dirt free, air clean too!

Anyway, check out this video to understand more about it!

As for me, I'll check more things at home and see how to improve efficiency and lower power consumption. We all live in this country, might as well do our share to save resources. Your kids would thank you for it!

The Outstanding PROMATE Quantum 20, Retro 2 and LinkMate Cable

Thursday, July 05, 2018

Covering events all day for my blog means charging a few phones so I could get content, take photos, interview celebrities, personalities and record audio and write updates all day. Having a power bank and related accessories is not just a need, but is essential to what I've been doing in the last few years. One of my power banks went kaput a few months ago and bringing only one just doesn't cut it. It's hard to lose power during my evening events and I lived in constant fear of not getting an Uber ride home because of it. I needed a bigger, dependable power bank to replace the one gone and felt I needed to get a dependable one as soon as possible.

Heard of a new brand PROMATE which roots came from Dubai. Albeit a little heavy than my previous, it's understandable because it is twice the capacity. At 20,000 mAh, it would mean I would only need to charge the thing less times which is super convenient. I only leave the thing to charge a few minutes (I do it overnight) and I could use it for a few days rather than charging it every day which was a thing I did with other brands before this. Mind you I am a heavy data user, so my phones usually last half a day because I constantly upload files even when I'm in transit from one event to the other. The convenience I am experiencing now with the PROMATE Quantum 20 was the perfect power bank for my arsenal.

The PROMATE Quantum 20 is 20,000 mAh, has over charging protection so you don't have to worry about your gadgets, quite portable for it's capacity, available in 4 colors and can charge in two usb ports at the same time at ultra fast charging speeds.

The PROMATE Retro 2 on the other hand are good quality earphones. It's the type that gets you to hear the actual real sound better and doesn't delve much into the base which is good for me, keeps me up when working out. What does make me feel good about this is that it's tangle free, you can wrap it around your wrist when your running and make it as an accessory. Totally good for runners, going to the gym and just about any activity imaginable. It snaps together with a magnet so you don't have to worry if you have to do stuff, it latches on fine.

This is the PROMATE LinkMate Cable is a 2 in 1 Heavy Duty Fabric Sync and Charge Cable for iOS and Android Devices. I thought initially it was just a lightning cable but it turns out you can insert the same cable for Android devices as it should. Now I can carry one cable for all my phones so I can use the other while the other one is charging. Mind you these things are not expensive, totally nice to see how they've made third party accessories this great, I'd even prefer this than the original because it makes life simpler, and a lot of other people appreciate that. It’s tougher too!

MOPHIE Battery Cases and Powerbanks

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

We said hi to the best selling battery case brand in the market called MOPHIE. A brand that has been in California and North America since 2005. They have been noted for style and engineered performance providing full case protection for phones and extra power for smartphones. They are the same manufacturers of the popular Juice Pack which I have also reviewed in the past. They've got a whole line of new devices that pretty much does the same thing and more. It is also available in 130 countries and is operating in California, Michigan, Netherlands, Hong Kong and China. I've personally used some of them and they've pretty much lasted quite long for what it's worth.

MOPHIE is the only authorized power manufacturer in Apple store so you will see them worldwide. They also have placed a commercial in Superbowl and now have 90% market share in the US and is gearing to increase now in Asia. There's a MOPHIE difference, they are triple certified and is the only one that's both a battery and can protect your phone. They do quality, and has priority charging as a feature which means it charges your iPhone first before the battery. That's smart!

They have different Juice Packs for every need. They also have it in different colors because we all need that in our life. They also have a waterproof and protect case called Juice Pack H2PRO for ultra rugged power and protection for your devices. They also have compact ones like the Juice Pack Reserve for those who would like it thinner and lighter plus it retails for under US$100. They also have Juice Packs for Samsung phones, particularly the S7 which people have raved about. For those who need ppwer banks in their life, they have MOPHIE Powerstation (in 3X abd 8X designs), Power Reserve and Power Reserve 2X. They have wireless charging available too, since businesses and individuals have set up infrastructure or devices for it, they're getting accessories made just for it. It charges on contact, they have different mounts too. Most of these will be available in Digital Walker and Beyond the Box stores and only range from Php 1,950 to Php 6,950. Take note though, these products does not charge phones but almost every device that have USB charging as a function. By the way, they will have USB C charging technology next week which is a good thing. It's coming people! Oh and it's also perfect for POKEMON GO when it rolls out in the Philippines, so get them while it's hot!

For after sales service, DIGITS will replace the device if it's under a year. So you've got them covered and safe within that period, that's re-assuring!

LED's Benefit You and SM Malls

Friday, February 13, 2015

What light bulbs are you using at home? Are you using LED's already? Well if not, you should! Millions of people around the world use the same LED lights to save Millions of dollars in electricity bills because this is the technology that can obtain the same intensity light less the consumption. One of the leading malls in the country even have their own Solar panels and use that energy to efficient LED lights in order to have less carbon footprint and individually power their malls separate from the power produced by plants nationwide. It's a greener source, greener products and less harmful to the environment which is one of SM Care's priorities.

SM now uses it in carparks and other facilities so it would radiate less heat, help customers find a spot and make the environment better for all of us!

Now you're going to have a safer community, environment and can even grow a million trees in places like Samar if you get Yellow Tag products in their malls too. You can help now by getting your bulbs change at home. It's nice to know private corporations are doing their share to make this world a better place to live in!
