Longer Episodes for "SOL at si LUNA" as it nears FINALE

If you haven't watched "SOL at Si LUNA" on YouTube's Puregold Channel, then I must say, you are missing a lot. It's a series launched a couple months ago by the folks from Puregold starring Jane Oineza and Zaijan Jaranilla. It's got a really good story, cinematography is impressive. I would even mistake it for a full blown movie as the quality is just above your usual teleseryes.

It talks about love and its intricacies, of what's normal and what is taboo. It also talks about the magic it brings, of when it comes at unexpected times, and find happiness in it even on dark days. He also gets really good advice from his Dad, about what it's like to be in a relationship and how it is a commitment and a choice. 

It also talks about being heartbroken, what things they learned in past relationships and the things they are still carrying to this day. Other episodes also discuss how love is found, how to protect it, how to win in life. They also vent out their frustrations, if they are attracted to each other, their labels too. 

SOL at si LUNA will have a longer episode this August 16th at 7pm. Subscribe to their official YouTube channel as they regularly upload the episodes there. Follow the Puregold social channels as well because they provide updates on latest promos and episodes too. 

A Different ZAIJAN JARANILLA To Be Seen at Puregold Channel's "Si SOL at Si LUNA"

If you've seen the trailer, you would say Zaijan Jaranilla is not the same person. He's our Santino of course, but now that he's a wee bit older, wiser, more daring, you can expect him to deliver a different version of himself because the material was perfect. 

This series is MOVIE quality. Made by Direk Dolly Dulu, it's going to be a coming of age romcom film which pairs Zaijan to a more experienced Jane Oineza. Zaijan and Jane read the script, and couldn't put it down so they started reading it from Sundown to Sunrise. This will probably be a weekly release starting from May 31st on the Purgold Channel YouTube Channel. No need to pay for a ticket because it's completely free to watch. Isn't that awesome?!

I was also quite intrigued about Joao Constancia's character, will he be the third party or just a friend in this series? That's exactly what you have to figure out as Zaijan and Jane go through the ropes of falling in love, doing it, and see the intricacies of relationships, disappointment and hopefully fall in love again.

A LAB STORY: Love Stricken and Socially Aware at Puregold Cinepanalo Festival

Took the afternoon screenings at Gateway Mall for the Puregold Cinepanalo Film Festival. The entry "A Lab Story" is about two students who find themselves in interesting situations because they had to pair up for an agricultural quiz bee. It definitely felt like a coming of age film. 

The teens might have been in different spectrums, one smart, the other not quite, and all they wanted to become was not to end up at last place.

It's fun, very endearing, and you will root for the two lead stars. You're going to also like Donna Cariaga in her element, the funny and quirky moments with her and Kurt screams part 2, we wouldn't be surprised if it had one.

They also had several issues addressed such as the plight of indigenous people, their home, their land and how some of them get abused. It's also about skills, knowing themselves and reaching for their dreams. So really, there's a lot to devour on such a simple looking plot.

This is just one of the entries in the Puregold Cinepanalo Film Festival, there will be several more of these full length films and short film entries that will be shown at Gateway Mall cinemas this weekend. Because as far as quality goes, this looks promising.

Dating Terms Learned on Puregold Channel's "Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile"

Have you tried online dating? How did it go? Well for some people, it's a hit and miss. What was your objective when you started? Were you able to get relationships out of it? There's a ton of questions need to be asked and answered right?

If you watched the recent episodes of Puregold Channel's "Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile", you'll get a sense of what it would feel like in that situation. The hit series stars Yukii Takahashi and Wilbert Ross who plays the role of Angge and Bryce. Two hopeless romantics who resorted to look for love on social media, describing their ideal person not knowing they'd all hit the marks. Puregold's Heartwarming Ads Praised by Netizens

If you've been on YouTube, Facebook or different online platforms, you've probably seen the new Puregold ads with the theme "Nasa Iyo Ang Panalo" launched by them in time for their 25th Anniversary. As of this writing, they've had over 43.1 Million views and has been praised by netizens because of how it was presenting raw stories of successful stars, athletes before they were able to succeed in their respective fields.

The series include SB19's very own Justin de Dios, this generation's drama superstar Francine Diaz, lovers Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola, TikTok phenom Queenay Mercado, and our country's Olympic pole vaulter EJ Obiena. The ads may have had a lot of views, but what matters most is the effect it has on Filipinos who would learn a thing or two about the lives of these greats. Justin was able to inspire people about his work ethic, his hard work and how he was able to pursue his dreams despite the hardships. Francine Dias on the other hand had to really work her way up before she was able to enter showbusiness, to land roles that was able to showcase her depth as an actress, and inspire the youth at the same time. There are many more comments on these videos that have solidified how effective they've been able to put the message across.

Excitement Builds for New Puregold Channel Series "Ang Babae Sa Likod ng Face Mask"

Netizens are begginning to feel the excitement over Puregold Channel's newest series called "Ang Babae sa Likod ng Face Mask" starring viral sensation Herlene Budol and good looking guy Joseph Marco. They play the role of lovers, about to delve into romance and they're already building intereset in social channels, with released videos already getting 1.1 Million views in less than 24 hours, a feat that wouldn't be beat proor to the series premiere.

Both Joseph Marco's and Herlene Budol's fans are showing their support for these actors, telling how they feel giddy over their new pairing. Herlene plays Malta who works hard for the money, trying to make ends meet and support her mother Madam Baby played by Mickey Ferriols. Marco on the other hand plays Sieg who just came out of a relationship, but while hurting meets this mysterious gal with a face mask comes and becomes interested with her. Will this spark romance on the show?

Herlene Budol and Kit Thompson Fall in Love in Puregold Channel's "Ang Babae Sa Likod ng Face Mask"

Looks like Puregold is making another series on the Puregold Channel and we got to talk to the cast of "Ang Babae Sa Likod ng Face Mask". It's a romantic comedy series starring Harlene Hipon Budol and Kit Thompson. Together with them are Mickey Ferriols, VJ Mendoza, Hasna Cabral and villain Kiray Celis. Their first salvo was all about debt called GV Boys and it was a huge success, following up with a new story is certainly a lot exciting.

GVBOYS Gets 2 More Episodes After Season Ender

Looks like Puregold Channel is giving us a treat as it comes out with 2 more episodes right after its supposed season ender. I've been watching "GVBoys: Pangmalakasang Good Vibes" since it came out in July and as of now, it's gotten over 4.7 Million views in Facebook and YouTube. That in itself is a feat and judging from the comments I've seen on both platforms, people are lovin it!

Cast include Jerome Ponce, Nikko Natividad, Dave Bornea, Ms. Carmi Martin, Wilma Doesnt and Elsa Droga. It airs every weekend on YouTube and I've subscribed so I get an alert on YouTube once they have an episode uploaded and published publicly. Honestly, I like how they used this platform to not just provide us with entertainment. They also used this to introduce products which is available in store so you kinda get knowledge about them without the need to go there physically yet.

GVBoys also talks about the importance of family, of friendship, how to have fun and what lengths you should go to when you're helping other people. The two special episodes will come out this week and next week, so make sure to subscribe at the Puregold Channel YouTube account and hit the notification icon. You can also like the official Puregold Facecbook page so when they come out with videos on the page, you'll know. Who knows, they might get even MORE generous when you do and come out with a Season 2!

We Need A Second Season of Puregold Channel's GVBoys

I've been following the Puregold Channel's GVBoys; Pangmalakasang Good Vibes series on YouTube and Facebook. Currently, they've gotten over 3.3 Million views in their combined assets which they've done during a pandemic. This show was made with the ordinary Filipino in mind to make sure they get entertained during a difficult time with a taste of macho comedy reminiscent of Palibhasa Lalake which was a hit show during the late 80's and early 90's. The sitcom stars Jerome Ponce, Nikko Natividad and GMA artist Dave Bornea. They play the role of Jawo, Zeus and Dax who currently is in the brink of being victimized by their new helper after their ghost experiences a couple episodes back.

They are still renting, and with the pandemic happening they weren't able to pay Wilma Doesnt's character Loisa for a couple of months. They devised a way to do odd jobs and manage to put up a fund of over Php 150,000. This amount caught the eye of swindlers/non do gooders so they're already talking about stealing it in the previous episode. 

Now seeing people get excited about the next episode had the people from GVBoys want to do more, so they're throwing in two extra episodes just for you on September 4 and 11. Aside from that, people like me are clamoring for MORE of GVBoys, so may I ask the people behind the Puregold Channel, would it be okay for you to do a Season 2?

Puregold Channel's GVBoys Spews Romance This Saturday

 

When I attended Puregold Channel's press conference a few days ago, they introduced a new show called GVBoys. After their premiere about a week ago, social media has been abuzz about how fun this digital series is who's concept was done by Puregold Price Club Inc. Times are hard and to make things lighter, the show aims to provide free entertainment to lessen the burden and stress during the pandemic. This is written by Sherwin Buenavida and Joaquin Acosta, and directed by Don Cuaresma (who's done a lot of TV series). You can liken this to the 80's hit show Palibhasa Lalake but with newer, fresher take on it. 

I've watched the first few episodes and had so much to say about the personalities of Jawo, Zeus and Daks (Jerome Ponce, Dave Bornea and Niko Natividad). The guys had to figure out a way to get money for their landlord Aling Perly (played by Carmi Martin) because they're being pressured to pay up her debt. Loisa (Wilma Doesnt) isn't going to accept any excuses so they went all out with ways to earn and pay for it, some of which was too hot to handle because of the naughty ways Jawo, Zeus and Daks thought of doing it. Now, it's been viewed around 1 Million times on Facebook, Youtube and Puregold's various social channels.

For sure, they're going to have so much fun as previews show some budding romance with different characters so you've got to see it.
