MAGIC MEN Australia is Coming to the PHILIPPINES

Tuesday, February 06, 2024

Looks like Filipinos are going to be in for a treat as Australia's very popular MAGIC MEN is coming to our shores this coming March 16 and 17 at the Newport World Resorts Theater in Pasay City.

They're off touring different cities in Australia, and now the world. This particular stop in the Philippines is produced by Trifecta Brand Lab. For those who don't know, MAGIC MEN Australia is one of the hottest acts in live entertainment. With a LOT of their hottest male performers set to land our shores, it'll certainly heat up our already sunny weather.

How? Let's just say they're ripped, carry huge guns, good looking, washboard abs laden fine men who would want to make you forget your problems for at least these two nights.

We got to talk to some of them, meet Will Parquet.

Will says "Magic Men Australia is bringing an amazing ladies night throughout the world. We're inclusive and we just want to create a fun atmosphere for everybody who wants to enjoy an amazing night out watching some guys taking some of their clothes off in the process. You can expect there will be screaming women, a lot of dancing, a lot of partying, and a lot of getting zonked with a couple of boys in the change room."

Ceazr Smith adds "All you have to do in the show is to sit back and relax, as it's the type of show where you have 8-10 Australian hunks and have the experience where women would talk about weeks or months after the show. There's going to be a lot of crowd interaction involved. You won't just be watching, you get to be in it! We usually have 45-50 women on stage at any one time and for anyone that's sitting at the back, we actually spend a lot of time with them. Nobody gets left out, everybody gets out attention."

Together with them will be Jaxon Human, Carlos Fang, Jeff, Dante and a whole lot of gorgeous men from down under. All they want you to know is that tickets will surely sell out fast, so get them at TicketWorld.com.ph now or contact Trifecta Brand Lab if you want to hire them for private shows while they are here in the country. They have confirmed that they can do that.

Show starts at 8PM but be there early so you can get cocktails (for the pre-show). There will also be available merch for those who want to have them signed and taken home. This is only for folks 18 and above, so take note. Follow Trifecta Brand Lab social channel for updates about the guys while they are in the Philippines.

Ladies, Gents, ALL are welcome! This is going to be one heck of a crazy party!

UNIQLO Works with Aussie Print Designer Cassie Byrnes

Wednesday, June 02, 2021

Oz Oz Oz! Oi Oi Oi! This is one way they say it in Australia but this time, they're taking it to clothing as fashion brand UNIQLO will launch a new collection as they work with Aussie print genius Cassie Byrnes. Known for her bold prints and superb colorful work inspired by Australia's flora and fauna.

All of these are prints that have been made especially designed for Uniqlo and they've really made good decisions to put it all on shirts and shorts. It's her first time to work with the global brand and she says "These designs are very personal to me and it has been something that I've represented with different times in my life. I've been in the design practice for over 6 years and was inspired by the prehistoric landscape of Australia, particularly the age of Gondwana which happened millions of years ago." This collection includes Sugarbush, Mesozoic Garden, Souvenir print, Lotte print, and the same ones in girls dresses. Sickening no?

I could see how this would work with Moms and daughters who would love to either pair up, or mix and match with Byrnes work. It's vivid, bold and definitely something attractive to wear on a summer day! Catch these items in all Uniqlo stores starting June 7, 2021.

Monday, May 17, 2021

Having the healthy stuff and everyday treats has always been a battle in my grocery list and some of the best ones... I've had the opportunity to get courtesy of my cousins and friends who send it all the way from Australia. The largest grocery chain down under is WOOLWORTHS and they've grown significantly even more throughout the EU, South Africa and the United States. But now, we in the Philippines will get to enjoy the same products too as all the same things they have will be sold online and physical stores starting today.

This includes some of the top brands in Australia and their very own home grown ones which they've developed through the years. Now, the journey there (OZ) would probably cost a lot, but we're not gonna do that just to have their products. Special lanes and sections will now be available in branches of Shopwise, The Marketplace at Rustans and Robinsons Supermarket branches nationwide. It'll also be available online via the GoRobinsons App (which you can download on the App Store and Google Play) and existing delivery apps that cater to these grocery shops.

Now those WOOLWORTHS products like pastas, fish and chicken spreads, grains, breakfast cereals, pancake shakers, wine and salad dressing are not just good, but really convenient. They're priced reasonably too, now think about the possibilities no? Oh and if you're in the mood to shop, they'll throw in a FREE foldable shopping basket for every 3K worth of products from WOOLWORTHS. Now go ahead and take your favorites from the shelves because they're here!

Don't say I didn't tell you huh! Can't wait to try Australia's best right here in the Philippines, see you at Woolies!.

AUDIOFLY Lands at Digits Trading and Beyond the Box Stores

Thursday, July 21, 2016

We traveled all the way to Makati City the other day to get the chance to get to know a new brand that's about to join the premium products that Digits Trading has to offer. They're called AUDIOFLY, an audio accessory brand whose expertise lie in building and designing headphones. They've lived up to the expectations of international artists and local musicians in Australia and they're bringing it to Philippine shores so we could experience more. I guess we deserve the best too.

Their philosophy in design tells a lot how they want the quality of their products to turn out. Even though they're sticking to classics, they don't bat an eyelash when it comes to pushing boundaries, to innovate and achieve superior detail when it comes to these devices. Vintage products is something that they wanted to get used to, something that has stood the test of time, durable and tested. This is included in their design process, they thought about different industries and produced tons of designs to find the right one. They wanted quality to be the prime reason YOU would buy an Audiofly.

The markets in Asia are the biggest and they're excited to have the presence at Digits Trading and Beyond the Box where this will be exclusively sold first. The musical experience in these devices have been done with professional musicians. It's based in Australia but they have been included in various expo's around the world because they know with Audiofly, every detail counts.

This is ideal for public places as it also has sound isolation technology and just recently, local musicians and artists have also tried and tested the earphones and monitors on live gigs. It went pretty well and one of them said that you can totally zone out and concentrate on your songs. A young lady performed during the launch and we did see her enjoy the small run because she's got Audiofly on her ear. It's clear, crisp, every note has insane detail because this is what the brand stands for too, the ultimate clarity of music.

The AF33 has a custom voiced dynamic driver, noise isolating silicon tips (for the ear plugs), you can also use it to make calls and control music with it.
The A45M has almost the same features with the exception of the custom voiced drivers, the AF33 uses 9mm while this one uses 11mm. This one uses Audioflex cables too, a tough one that could withstand everyday wear and tear.

The AF56 is one of their nicest in-ear earphones with a 13mm dynamic driver. It promises outstanding clarity, making every track you hear rich and detailed. This would be perfect for meticulous composers who plan to make more music.

The AF78 uses a combination of technologies, uses hybrid dual drivers. You'll get that sophisticated sound you're looking for in this set. It's got machined anodised alloy bezel with precision laser cut venting in the back for acoustic greatness, something you'll never find in designs other brands.

As for me, the AF45 is already sufficient for what I do at work. If I needed to arrange interviews and transcribe material, this would be fine. I also compose music and create melody for some of my friends. This is already professional grade so for that function alone, it's on a different league!
Audiofly is exclusively available in Digits Trading affiliated stores and Beyond the Box stores. You can take advantage of these high quality audio accessories that are affordable for what it's worth. A thing that's already tested by musicians, designed with them in mind says a lot for what Audiofly is capable of. Experience it in these stores today and try it on for size, you'll find what will fit your lifestyle!

Smart Infinity Presents Les Miserables in Manila

Friday, March 18, 2016

When word came out about the staging of Les Miserables in Manila, I was really looking forward to watch it at The Theater in Solaire. With a world class cast flying all the way from Australia and London, I only expected this to be the best musical I'm ever gonna be able watch in our country's soil. I think this isn't the first time but with all the improvements they probably put in through the years, this should be a grand spectacle that we Filipinos shouldn't miss!

I'm sure Cameron Mackintosh and the rest of his production would have been happy with the performances we watched during the press preview last Tuesday, let alone the whole show last night. He probably wouldn't have been surprised to know that people were either in the verge of tears or were already crying about how the ensemble cast portrayed their roles. The premium postpaid brand Smart Infinity made sure members had their perks first. We had dibs on tickets since last year and it's no different than when they did it with Phantom of the Opera, Cats and Wicked. Infinity subscribers of course were the first ones to get tickets to the show so you don't really need to line up like rest, now how's that for perks? Ha-ha!

Here's Rachelle Ann Go on Video as Fantine

The cast also includes London's West End based Rachelle Ann Go who took time out of that production so she could do it in the Philippines and perform in front of the hometown audience. She was unbelievable. I couldn't even imagine how perfect she was during the press preview, even more during the actual musical. You could feel her, even if I was in the balcony, looking down on stage, and that takes a lot of talent to do it. I had to pick up jaws of other people since she dropped most of it.

Here's their performance on video:

The story's given, but the actors and watching it live felt like you're watching a painting come to life. To put it into words, it was just surreal! I couldn't let my eyes off the stage as I might miss some of the sequences and important parts that I need to connect with the second act.

Here's my favorite scene on the barricade!

We also saw the cast in the afterparty hosted by Smart Infinity. Thank you so much to these people who made it possible to bring these world class shows and stage it on Philippine soil. Thank you Smart Infinity!
