Charice Pempengco's Father Stabbed to Death in Laguna

This just in. We just got news through ANC that Charice Pempengco's Father was stabbed to death in Laguna.

Born Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco, this young girl was dubbed by Oprah as the most talented girl in the world. Some feud over the use of her surname early on her International career prompted her to just use CHARICE as a screen name (as her Dad and her biological Dad's family refuse to use it for their last name). In video biographies, her Dad was portrayed "violent" early on and this started the rift between them and her father. Not to be stopped she still pursued a career in the US; received high acclaim too. The Father on the other hand stayed to be never seen for a long time. The last time was when she was 3 years old. Now that this news has come up, what would her reaction be?

As of now, the cause of death is still under investigation. But it has been confirmed that he is dead. My condolences to Charice and her family. No matter how good or bad he was, he's still Charice's father.

Yeah yeah you can say all you want! I know I am a little lame in some ways and this isn't one of them. I like seeing Charice succeed and also seeing international stars. I am one of the millions who adore her. Why not? She's got one hell of a voice... If you think about it we've got lots of them here that didn't get to penetrate the world market. Aside from Lea I don't think there are others who made significant contributions aside from Journey front man Arnel Pineda and Charice in these times.

Did you know they arrived yesterday? Yeap they just got in from a tour in Japan! Natalie Cole and Reuben Studdard will be here to perform on the concert. There's also a Canadian foursome that sings standards and operas which I don't have a clue of who they are but they are here too. I wonder if they are as good as the others on the list. A big disappointment though are the no shows like Michael Buble and the other ones Charice sang with a few months ago.

Charice actually sang with NEYO in Las Vegas and got him to do Michael Jackson numbers. That's one achievement again on her hat. It's the same concert where she received 2 standing ovations for singing Celine Dion songs. David Foster is really promoting her a lot these days and he's not surprised if Charice makes it BIGTIME as if this wasn't big already!

Are you going to watch this concert?! I wonder how much it costs. Better look at ticketnet because they probably have them listed too.

I heard lots of praises for Charice's performance in Glee Season 2 (as Sunshine Corazon). They were all impressed by her powerful voice. In real life she's also got a crush on the guy in the wheelchair. I heard that guy is an awesome dancer too, but how come they restricted him to that chair?! Charice would like to thank everyone but she's down with the flu. She didn't attend an important gathering yesterday. It was a benefit for cancer research I think but it looks like they didn't see her there. I hope they still contributed even if she didn't go.

I've never ever ridden the Pasig River ferry until that Saturday we went on a photowalk. It was nice overall and I have nothing but praises. I just wish there was still something that we could do to rehabilitate it. It would really be a nice way to show Manila to tourists. If we maybe have some things done there much like in Bohol where restaurants are also on floating rafts, that would be really nice to see. Stop the pollution and we're gonna have a better river. The view is very different from where we were at that time. If only people flock that place and see for themselves, it would really be nice for them to tell other people what I saw. =) I'm hopeful this will turn out well in a few years.

The date I had this weekend was fun. I felt a little shy at first because we didn't talk that much about things. We watched The Guardians. It was cute. Not Academy Award material but it was so close to happy feet the owls literally looked like penguins. It was just cute nothing more. But what I enjoyed most was the times I attempted to hold hands. She was pretty, I was cute, what more can I ask for in a dark movie house haha!

Now you're not thinkin what I'm thinkin huh!? LOL!

Getting Experts to do it!

People were a little shocked yesterday when they heard the news that GLEE teen star CHARICE from the Philippines was getting her jaw sides BOTOX'D while being seen by millions of people in public television. I'm really okay with it unlike some Filipinos who still find it taboo to have anything retouched at an early age. If it is cosmetic and it will enhance what she looks like I'm all for it! I would want that for myself too pretty soon and I'm studying what procedures would be good for me. I would like to find doctors that I could trust in the plastic surgery plano area. I'm sure they will do a good job with their proven track record and inclusion in AI4PS which is the premier institute for plastic surgeons in the Dallas area! I hope I can get something done there soon because of some fat deposits I would like to get rid of on my sides, belly and chin area.

Safety should always be first. These procedures can be very dangerous so if you would like to even think about getting it done; we should always seriously take in consideration what they have done in the past and what expertise they have so you won't be sorry. Get the best ones to do it for you because after all it is your body. CHARICE may have had it done; but that doesn't mean she did not think about it first. Getting certified plastic surgeons is the key. Would you do otherwise?!

Something Funny and Something to be Proud Of!

Two things ran into my mind this week, one is Eugene Domingo. This funny lady has never failed to amuse me with her antics specifically the "HANDUSAY" part of her skits. When it made me laugh, I usually cringe because I could not stop thinking about it. In this particular video above, she interviews David Archuleta and David Cook while performing a few tasks for Anjo Yllana. This is so funny, and I'm proud to say I am an UGE fan. I will continue to watch her shows and movies. I'll try and get some humorous stuff from her too lolz.

This other video shows Charice in another one of her stellar performances over at the Oprah show. She launched her US debut single called "Note to God" which was originally sang by Jojo and the other girl from America's Got Talent... I forgot her name. Anyway, both David Foster and the composer already said that only she can do justice to this beautiful song. And she did... astounded audiences around the world she also now has a chart topper under her belt. Thanks to Oprah she's got the second most downloadable song in ITUNES. She also plans to collaborate with Justin Timberlake soon. Maybe she has a crush on him too like when she did with Josh Groban. Goodluck to this pretty lil girl from Laguna, which is a few hours away from here. ^_^ So proud of her!

CHARICE performs at Good Morning America

Now this 16yo phenom from the Philippines is still making waves in the United States. With her performances here and around North America, she now has this performance in Good Morning America which is a very popular morning TV show in the US. This also has international distribution so people around the globe will be seeing this much like Oprah. I kinda am not impressed by the arrangement because she could have done other songs or something better. A younger more powerful song would have worked. But I still love her just the same ^_^

Dreams do come true with this 16yo girl from the Philippines. She gave a wonderful performance at Madison Square Garden. Her only dream was to perform with her lifetime idol Celine Dion... taking chances... here she is singing her heart out!






Notice that the Oprah audience even felt it, some of them even cried. Madison Square garden on the other hand had thousands of people on their feet.... a standing ovation for the feat.

This girl will come a long way...as Oprah says... we'll just wait for more things to happen to CHARICE!

I have never been so proud of this phenomenal girl from my homeland the Philippines. Charice continues to get audiences from around the globe on numerous standing ovations. She looks 12 yo but she's already 16. Oprah wants to help her and her mother start this dream. David Foster handles her and promises to make her a star. Let's watch her shine at Madison Square Garden with a duet with the one and only Celine Dion.... something to believe that wishes do come true! ^_^

Well, this kid has indeed come a long way. She is so lucky to have the opportunity to be with the best singers/performers in the world.

From the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Alicia Keys, Brian McKnight, Katherine McPhearson, Kenny G and Josh Groban to name a few."I had the great pleasure of being able to stand inside behind the stage when she was performing... she has a beautiful voice," as the famous Josh Groban said.

Famous chef Wolfgang Puck who mede food for the event and famous celebrities also saw the show with his wife could not get enough of Charice. Puck's wife even said, "I want to be your mother from now on."

Charice got a standing invitation from Wolfgang for free dinners with him and his wife every time Charisse is in Beverly Hills and I bet that will be good!!! ^_^ YUM-O!

After her songs, Charice got two standing ovations. Some even cried during her performance, and she received loud cheers and applause after each song... Aren't you kinda proud to be Filipino?! ^_^
