Next Level BRIA Homes: Launches xE Series

Monday, August 08, 2022

Things are looking bright for the real estate industry especially this year where prices are competitive. To become successful, you need to expand fast and innovate to spark growth here and in any other industry. BRIA Homes for example has made sure their projects are located in strategic sites, full of amenities that can be used by the community like good internet connection, utilization of electronic cash and people who care about managing the property.

Recently, they launched BRIA Homes Bettina Prime carrying the xE series which are mostly upgraded versions of BRIA’s Elena, Elyana and Bettina models. The differences lie in the fences, pavements and gates which was non existent in previous designs. Inside, it gets even better with bedroom partitions, well designed floor and wall tiles, water closets, hand showers and bidets (a must for Filipino homes these days). This would make any person looking for a home eager to own one or invest to lease off for families. There are also options to own two lots for more space like the Bettina xE with 72 square meters, there will be a lot more space for small gardens or play area.

Like in any other BRIA Homes property, lots of facilities like the multi purpose hall, covered basketball court, a playground can be used by home owners and enjoy with families, friends, the community and for special occasions.

Thinking of moving? Check out the property without having to go there physically via 360 degree tours on www.bria.com.ph or you can check out their socials at www.facebook.com/BriaHomesIncOfficial where they post updates about their many projects. If you're seriously considering one, go reserve a home via https://www.bria.com.ph/online-reservation/ because they can do that too online.

Now go make that choice a BRIA today!

How Hacking Help Apps Grow

Saturday, August 28, 2021

If you've been irritated by ads on apps you are using, then you're not alone. As apps showcase reasons to change your lives, you gotta ask yourself if it is true.

Building apps isn't easy and in the process of making new ones should have one element, growth hacking. If there exists a good efficient one out there, make it better.

Shane Shan the Director for APC Huawei Consumer Cloud Service says "There should be a strong sense of creativity at growth. Software developers must pay close attention to products and user experience. In order to grow quickly, you need a unified effort between marketing, engineering, developers and existing users".

This is also why they are continuing to discovering talent over at AppsUP 2021: The Huawei HMS App Innovative Contest. They're making app developers better with their craft so they can understand it more, to unleash one's full potential. Being meticulous at testing phase at the beginning of an app's development can take out costs which may affect the budget. Frequently doing it is highly suggested.

Listening to pro/premium users who pay for the service is also a good strategy because in some ways, they are also invested in it, so is building a community for it. This is why Huawei Mobile Services is introducing a lot of features to their products like AI, AR and analytics capabilities. You too can launch your app to millions of people around the world, visit http://bit.ly/appsupapacpc for more details about it.

The Cherry Mobile 3 Peat Launch

Wednesday, August 06, 2014

A few days ago, we had the chance of attending the launch of Cherry Mobile's newest products at the Hyatt Hotel in Manila. Honestly, I haven't been able to give Cherry Mobile a chance when choosing to buy phones because of rumors and the slack they've been having online. I had the impression that because they dish out cheaply priced phones, they'll have cheap built and quality too. I was proved wrong that afternoon, and yes I had my mind changed in a whole different way because I experienced one of the things they released that day first hand. Aside from that, Cherry Mobile also launched the one and only Pinoy App Shop dedicated to showcase a  all in one place marketplace for Filipino app developers that comes pre-installed (on new Cherry Mobile models) or can be installed from the Google play store .A move praised by the Filipino Game Developer community last July 31st.

Alvin Juban the President of Game Developers Association of the Philippines, Darwin Tardio of Funny Guy Studios, Honey de Peralta of Flipside Publishing, Neil Dagondon of Anino Games and Ria Lu of Komikasi Games and Entertainment welcomes the Pinoy App Shop and thanks Cherry Mobile for the move to make the industry local centric but not undermining consumers who wants free applications made for and by Filipinos who are developers mostly based from the Philippines. The only requirement is basic, it has to be made by Filipinos and judging from what I've seen on it... the games and activities are pretty cool. Some of it are even based on local Filipino street games like Sipa, Patintero, etc. all of which seemed to be also released internationally.

To make the great day even better, Cherry Mobile announced price changes on their premier phone and phablet lines.

The Fusion Aura is now priced at P1,999 (previously P2,299), the Ruby is now P2,499 (previously P2,899), the Life 2.0 phone is now P2,999 (previously P3,299) and the Omega Icon is now P4,999 (previously P6,499). Then they did the next best thing about the fifth and last gadget on their line, they let me win one of it on the raffle! Woot!

They christened this as the "Phablet ng Bayan" (National Phablet) because price wise, it's so affordable at P3,999. It's got an 8MP back camera, 3MP front cam, 13GHz Quad Core processor, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, 5.0 inch scratchproof OHD IPS OGS display screen, 8GB ROM and 1GB RAM and dual sim capability. With these features, it beats phones at a whole different level with the same specs. I've also been using it since then and I am so loving the RED shiny color it has. It's available at other colors plus a matte black one but I'd rather choose this one since I'm a warrior.

It will only be released initially in Robinson’s Manila, SM City North EDSA and Graphics in Cagayan De Oro so what are you waiting for? Go grab them now before they run out of stock. You won't see anything of this grade at this price point anywhere else but with Cherry Mobile!

Twitter Tweet Up! Live More!

Friday, May 16, 2014

I was ecstatic when I saw a Twitter Tweet Up was happening in Manila. Let alone that the actual people from Twitter were going to be here. Thanks to the good people from Smart Communications Inc., Smart's Social Media Team and Smart Bro for hooking us up just to get to see them in the flesh. From developers, social media professionals, celebrities, power twitter users and bloggers, it was a nice occasion to see the faces behind the usernames.

They started to show a short clip about how Twitter started and how a small social networking and microblogging tool just became a part of our lives. Today, Twitter has around 200 million registered users who send over 400 million tweets daily. The Philippines is a powerhouse and we ain't called the selfie capital of the world if we weren't one of the biggest countries in terms of traffic. You know how powerful we are trending various topics from Mactan to Tirad Pass. Aside from that, the executives, developers and engineers from Twitter were there to have fun with the Pinoy Twitter public!

And of course, the Philippines know how to party! The simple tweet up that was meant for 30 people just ballooned into 200 in just a few hours! Imagine that!

They went ahead and entertained our questions later in the evening. They also gave away official Twitter goodies by asking Trivia questions to the audience. Thanks to founders Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass,Evan Williams and Biz Stone we now have a platform where to express our thoughts in cyberspace through 140 characters.

Shout out to our friends from Twitter @foshihzy @arvindergujral @dbedingfield @lsellier @timw @amishah, I hope you had a great time in Manila and wish you could do more of this TwitterTweetUps soon! Smart Bro promised there will be a next one - and I'm sure that will be even bigger! You can click this for more photos of the TwitterTweetUp in Manila.

The Perfect SME Partner - Get Online With WebsiteExpress.Biz!

Monday, October 21, 2013

Small and medium enterprises comprise the majority of businesses in the country. The eve of technology not only requires them to have online channels in order to survive, but they have no choice. Consumers now are on these avenues and if the market calls for it, they need to follow suit.

Ryan feels left out LOL

If you don't do it... you'll feel left out. No website, no online transactions means no sufficient income. If that is the case, your business will suffer, no one will buy your goods and services. Now what will an ordinary businessman do when he doesn't have knowledge on how to put up a website of his own? He can hire magicians, clowns, fire breathing men throwing spears at each other... or maybe hire freelance web designers but in a year or two he probably won't be able to find him ever again if you want changes to your site. What would you do?

The answer...

WebsiteExpress.Biz! This kiosk we found on the ground floor of Shangri-la Edsa Mall (in front of Sun Cellular/Globe Shops) looks quite bare but it packs a punch! Just drop by and ask about it. Grab menus from your restaurant, the list of products on your shop and the amount of workforce you have in your personnel. Hand it over to the WebsiteExpress.Biz people and expect a true blue mockup in as little as two hours. That's just the tip of the iceberg because if you want customized services on your website, they can do that in a jiffy. Now, there's no need for businessmen to learn HTML codes, PHP or arrays... just tell them how you want it and they can build an even better one if you avail their packages. No need to worry about hosting, codes or joomla because they'll provide you with everything you need to manage your site quite easy.

Now that answers your question. Don't hesitate because with them you've got a team of programmers and web developers on stand by 24/7 providing world class services so you won't have any hitches if the time comes that your customers have to access your websites. They're all responsive too so any mobile device can see your site the way it should. Isn't that perfect?

If you want to check out their latest works, just visit their official website

http://www.websiteexpress.biz/

Click on the samples and see how it's already got so much impact on other businesses. What does it have to take to get ahead? You've got to go online, and THEY make it easy. That's it pansit! =P

Be the Ultimate XML Developers Challenge Superstar!

Sunday, November 23, 2008

The ordeal of the 21st century, the greatest, supreme era of the digital age is far from over. I was browsing this evening to find great opportunities for the geek in me. I chanced upon http://www.XMLChallenge.com and found out that they are conducting competitions for XML developers. Now this is the chance I've been waiting for!

For those of you who do not know, XML is Extensible Markup Language which in lay man's term is still not lay man because this is a little complicated to explain I know. The World Wide Web Consortium is a huge body (with 434 members) that makes certain standards for the Internet. XML is a general-purpose term that they created for specifications in creating custom markup languages. If you try and search your computer's system files, maybe you have come across a ".xml" file. This is an example of it. It may be XHTML, RSS (bloggers know this from feeds), MathML, GraphML, Scalable Vector Graphics, MusicXML, and others. I know this is a little difficult to swallow for non technical people, but for geeks like me it rings a bell if your breakfast, lunch and dinner is customizing websites and changing open source codes. This is like the "ambrosia" of software and web developers.

With that out in the open, the site is holding a competition for students, faculty members as well as professional developers. The IDUG contest is held world wide so even my tech savvy friends can join. This is also to increase awareness and familiarity with XQuery, XML and DB2. All you need to do is one or all of these things:

  • Upload a video
  • Create a small widget or gadget
  • Answer a series of questions by developing queries in XQuery.
  • Port an existing application to use XML, XQuery or DB2.
  • Develop a brand new application using the same
It's just that easy! The community would also take part in judging and the prizes will awarded on a monthly basis. So start pressing those keys and rushing your brains now for this contest! I already did! So why be left behind!
