A few weeks ago, I was seeing weird videos being shared on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter made from an app called TIKTOK on iOS and Google Play. It’s a tiny short video platform which is already popular in other countries and is taking the Philippines by storm. What better way to write about this that to actually experience it myself (YOU CAN ADD MY TIKTOK ID KUMAGCOW) because really, this is a whole lotta fun!

Mind you this breaks the norm as you can now perform with your favorite artists (local and international) because Baninay, Awra, Pamela Swing and lovely Korean/KPOP artists are all here on the platform. That only means you can do the #DuetWithMe challenge wherein you can sing or perform with them in split screen modes and edit the audio, video, its filters right on the app itself without any hitches.

Now if I were you, I’d start early and add myself to the thousands of users in TIKTOK Philippines because I felt that I was already late when I joined, adding KUMAGCOW on your friends list and watching/liking my videos there too would be nice hahaha!

They also have a mission to lessen middle men, have a farm to table kind of setup. If you have read quite a few articles today in Singapore, there are already a lot of people availing this service as they are priced competitively, some even more affordable than what you see in grocery shops with the convenience of just staying at home or the office or wherever you want it delivered as long as it's within their service area.

As of now, they've got the whole Robinsons Supermarket on their partner merchants. They also have AWC that offers wines and spirits, food specialty shops like FoodSource, Boozy for liquors, Fresh Options meat shop, The Straits Wine Company, Chicco Baby Products, Solo Meat Corp, Figures Of Beans Coffee Products, Harvestime Salads Frozen Berries and Fruits, Incredible India and even G Stuff who sells organic products so almost everything is there. All you have to do is download the app on Google Play or the App Store. They offer same day 1 hour delivery so this is totally convenient and won't be a hindrance in your schedules. The laundry service can get your clothes clean, pressed and folded then sent to your home after 3 days. 

Right now, I talked to their customer representatives (yes I emailed them) and they only cover the whole Makati and Ortigas Business District, Bonifacio Global City, Xavierville and Maginhawa in Quezon City. You can check by putting your address on the app or website and they can tell you if they can deliver. I'm raring to try it out very soon.

Smart Launches World's First Pay With Load Service for App Store andiTunes!

It's here and it's the biggest announcement yet this 2015. It's something we're all excited about because it's the first time a telco would do it in the Philippines. Actually, let me correct myself, it's the first in the world to ever do this, to integrate things to have "internet for all". Smart wants to bring the Internet to Filipinos even more. It's in their  DNA to provide online payment solutions especially for those who don't have credit cards.

No need to maintain an account, you use the full power of your apple decices and pay with your prepaid load or postpaid accounts. See? It's that easy! This is called "Pay with Mobile" and doing it is easy!

Step 1 Text the word REG to 4949, you'll receive your confirmation together with account details. 

Step 2: Enter the details of your account on the APPLE ID MENU. Your Philippine address, card number and security code.

Step 3: Then go ahead and purchase your games, apps and in app add ons and you'll use the details you indicated earlier.

Since it's convenient, you get charged like 15% on top of your purchase. That consists of 12% VAT and other fees by the government. Itunes will also be providing after sales support if you encounter any problems with it. The roll out will be on February 16 and full availability will commence on February 18. Now there's no more reason to be taken advantage by Android users when playing Clash of Clans. See what I mean? :) 

Every purchase, you'll get a notification. So if your kids fiddle around with your ipad or iPhone, you'll know it. There's also an option to opt off by texting OFF to 4949.
