What if?

Well here's the thing; I've been thinking about getting married. I know I've been a little older than last year but hey it's all good. I'm thinking of all the details now and from the movie I watched this weekend it looks like I'll be in for a ride.

I am unique; and I think I have been for some of the years I've lived in this world. I am no superhero but if I'm going to get engaged in a loving environment I want to get what I want. I don't want those princess cut white diamonds. I think it is just too canny. I want to have something different and probably all about the one I marry. I really am fond of black or blue diamonds by famous brands like Apollo and New Age. I just love how it looks on the high fashion dress I wish to get her on. Does the photo on the side remind you of anything?! Ha-ha!

Sex and the City 2

Saturday, June 05, 2010

It was awesome! I finally had the great movie I was looking for this year. I had a ton of laugh while watching it. If you do not watch this you'll miss a lot.

You know part 1 had Carrie played by you know who and Big played by that big guy who almost didn't make the film got married right? Well they got into an arrangement of having their kind of relationship. Carrie did put it into her novel too and that kinda got the irk of her readers and lots of reviews. Lots of problems on their setup and unclear conversations between them was getting Carrie stressed.

Samantha Jones was there and had a change of lifestyle thanks to a book she read. She was all creams, estrogen shots and supplements. She went to a premier together with her previous boyfriend turned actor and met a sheik from abu dhabi. She was asked to promote for the city too so she was invited to that place after a while with the condition that she brings her friends with her there. Disaster struck when she couldn't bring her creams and supplements with her. That's why there goes menopause! ha-ha! It was the start of her swearing and hummus eating afterwards but it didn't really have an effect. Anyway, they were all treated to life's best things from 4 solo going vehicles to having their own butlers and a grand hotel room that spelled 22 thousand dollars a night for it. It had its own bar, kitchen and it would be an understatement to call it a palace.

I was also really ecstatic the time that I saw they did not tone down on fashion. It was all eye candy as they sported the belly dancing like attires for the Abu Dhabi scenes. I like the 80's inspired flashbacks also in the beginning, that was really a fun way to start everything! hahahah!

Conflicts: Carrie saw Aidan in Abu Dhabi, they had dinner and kissed. She told Big.... and the sad things continued. Hurt Big BIGTIME! but they patched things up when she got back to New York.

Charlotte was living in hell because of the kids.

Miranda was there to help everyone. Showed Charlotte she went through that also. She was translating for everyone haha!

Samantha had sex on the beach and almost got locked up in Abu Dhabi prisons hahaha. She threw condoms on the streets at the irk of men in robes and muslim clerics.

It was a really good movie, I would really recommend this to anyone who loved the series in HBO and the first movie. This is a very good sequel! Awesome!

I'm giving this 5 KUMAGS out of 5! The perfect movie for this summer's end!

Be Wise and Get Covered!

Friday, June 04, 2010

I've been driving for a few years now and I must admit it is definitely a chore that you can't get out of. If the time comes that you end up being the family driver or the designated one for your friends; you clearly have some responsibilities which you did not account for. If you encounter accidents or mishaps you have to take in mind the lives of your passengers. I learned a lot from driving school but the Car Insurance Los Angeles has is incomparable. If you call the toll free number 1-800-475-6840 you'll understand what I mean.

It is quite easy because they can give you free insurance quotes from them which you can never find in some other established corporations. It pays to be informed too so if there would be some way you can get insurance for your vehicles without worrying if you meet an accident or any other problems with your car then that would be just bliss! I would not want another headache if I bump on other cars accidentally... not that I'm looking forward to ha-ha!

My advice is; get a reputable company to back you up whenever you get a car. It can spare you the problems of property and life. I'd be smart and get myself a better one if my current insurance provider doesn't give a damn about what service means. It's the best thing you could give your family too.

Another Hater Bites the Dust

Thursday, June 03, 2010

I've done good food reviews and apparently it did reach the particular establishment that I intended it for. You know what I got this morning?! A hate comment from their people. Most probably, the owners got to read the review and instructed the people there to do better. Hey dimwit, if you are reading this, I filter my comments section so you won't see your piece here okay?! This is my site, my turf and if you want to do more this is not the place for you unfortunately... =P

Nyahahah! I am so evil sometimes...

Dude, here's my advise... Treat your customers well, your food already is outstanding since most of us order your specials. If you take criticism that way you will never improve. Think clearly and ask yourself why I said my piece about your restaurant. I'm sure its the same thing with other people there. You will never have repeat customers if you don't take the time to listen.

I never concentrated on the bad things about your store, what if I did and never mentioned the good things about it? Will you feel more agitated? Try to feel if you were in the shoes of your customers and served mediocre food and pay hundreds of pesos for it. I know you wouldn't be as happy as I was huh?!

Think about it!

Well actually I feel its a little useless... its useless to talk to people who have no idea what we do in food reviews. It's also hard for people who never even graduated high school or probably just high school graduates to understand what I meant in this post. Nyahahahah!

They Should Consider Small Loans

I guess I had the habit of lending some of my friend's money. I don't know how impulsive I got until it went big a couple of days ago. I thought I was helping them but apparently I was only putting myself in the same situation as they are. I am a little tired of reminding them to pay me back the money they owe me and I don't do that in a normal day. Small Loans are supposed to be easy and guilt free but it wasn't happening on this one. I was already talking to them awkwardly since day 1 and I know it was going to affect our relationships. I should have told them to make other plans when it comes to these. I'm sure they probably know how it felt when we were talking over a cup of coffee that day. It wasn't easy at all!

They should have considered other options like Payday, Pawn broker, Personal Bank and Credit Card loans. They have easier terms and bigger ranges as far as costing goes. I learned a lot from site like SMALLLOANS.ORG and I think you should pay them a visit so you could get some tips or two about how to get one fast and efficiently. At least it won't affect how you treat each other after that. It would be easier to go through this path than worry about us. That would be the smarter choice!

DPP 4.0 UNLEASHED!

Wednesday, June 02, 2010

There must be some kind of conspiracy. Another DPP Anniversary party will commence on July 3 at Fullybooked Bonifacio High Street. I will definitely be there. This time I'm going to get my hands on the pass printed on Issue 32 and get in line with Xander Angeles' seminar. I am surely going to enjoy that! The first time I met this awesome photographer, I almost dropped Trish (my cam) because I thought I was doing fashion photography... until I saw his shots... my jaw dropped literally.

With this in mind, I would not forgive myself if I do not get in that seminar. He will be there to show me the ways of fashion photography and I will get him to sign my copy of issue 32 that had Anne Curtis on front. I need to get this by hook or by crook!

I might also get to have it signed by Anne Curtis too. Well that's if she gets back from LA that is hehehe....

For more details of the event, check the thread here CLICK THIS.

See you there!

A Not So Good Day in the Office! =/

Sunday, May 30, 2010

I'm having a hard day in the office. The damn air conditioning is being regulated here and they feel cold while I'm perspiring in my side of the wall. I already got my nose bleed twice before asking them to turn it up a notch. In my dictionary it looks like the place is already not really meant for work. I hate it. These are the things I have to live with I guess.

With that out in the open, I'm okay now. I got tissue for my nose... and an electric fan for the air conditioning here.

Some of these people don't probably have air con rooms at their homes hence the inability to understand why people like me need it most of the time.

To soothe my mind let me just reminisce a bit... I want music from the 90's!

The Smart Choice for Cars

Saturday, May 29, 2010

I was always going to the office using the van but for obvious reasons it is showing signs of aging. Since it has been manufactured in the 90's the van is always stopping whenever it wants and air conditioning just breaks down in the mid afternoon heat. I almost passed out the other day because of the heat and I don't want to simulate an oven come next week. Rain hasn't been that usual this month and they said it will be delayed again. I probably should find a new car or van so I could at least make the best out of my trips in the metro or outside the country. I am thinking of getting the Ford Mondeo. With its spacious legroom and thrifty gas mileage it will be the best substitute for the van. I wouldn't want to think of anything else now but get a Ford Mondeo as soon as possible so I could sit back comfortably and get to where I want to without thinking of bogging down or getting the air conditioning broken again.

I love what I see in the car so far but if there would be something else that I would get I'll probably get it on line since some of them are way cheaper than those in car shops we locally see. I want to get a van but with the economic crisis still looming in the background that may not be the better option without getting the best deal. I can get this on line and I know who to look for when my brother gets them also in the UK. Everything will be better and I know this is the right thing to do. Should you thing otherwise it'll be disastrous to not spend wisely in this day and age. Be smart!

Happy Birthday Shy!

It was raining yesterday but I wasn't stopping anytime soon getting drunk because it was the birthday of a good friend Shy. Shy is not shy at all, actually she is the most violent person I have ever seen. We had a very great time at their house (which I refuse to mention for social discrimination LOL) and had a few rounds of beer to start it off. I didn't drink that much because I had to go home and prepare for something else tomorrow. I guess it was a riot. Jophen (big girl in white at the back) as you can see is already drunk since she was drinking since the afternoon. She was laughing profusely at anything even the ice that she wanted to scrub on Edu's back (black guy on black shirt on Shy's lap). Ruby (the corpse in white) was trying to sing her favorite songs but I wouldn't wanna do that when I've got the microphone. Shy (the one in pink) had a very happy birthday celebration all in all and I had a great time and I probably would be back for more meatballs, chicken and spaghetti... plus a lot of booze the next time I go back to that far flung area.

I think there are a couple of things that should be done though, please celebrate somewhere near Manila or Quezon City next time... your place is too far you know! =P

Then again Happy Happy Birthday Shy! You are so OLD! You look old too! =P Hail the Meangirls!
