I just saw my first crush. Yeah you heard it right but to tell you honestly she didn't look right. I felt I was so fortunate to not to have ended up with her. Not to be mean but I'd go for the improvement of my race. That really made me so thankful I didn't get married so early too because that may probably be the same fate I'd say I'd be in if I didn't zip up when the time calls for it. I wouldn't go into the details of my nightlife because this is supposed to be a wholesome lifestyle site. Not so much now eh?!

Santa Claus just crossed me out on his list this year. I hate him but I don't know if he's just teasing and include me before Christmas. So to you Santa, be cool and get me that Wii I've been asking to buy myself darn it! I need it for my folks hehehe... I'll ask them to play interactive games at home. Wouldn't that be a great idea? My PS2 is gathering dust and I don't use it anymore, that is just one sad story. Donate a Wii Console now, call me!

I'm thinking of going to that formal Thanksgiving party later but I think it'll be better if I don't. I hate fancy dinners. But if they would give me a condo unit why not LOL!
People, please stop liking your own statuses on Facebook! It just ain't right. It is so annoying and I'm still seeing a lot of my friends do it, JMJ! Get a life! Hehehe.

Teri Hatcher is my favorite desperate housewife. I almost kicked my TV set when they sent rumors that she is not going to finish the next season. Good thing she dispelled rumors after a few days, I won't watch anymore if they did that. I think she promised to be there until the show gets canceled. That's great news... or maybe we can put her on Cougartown. Now that's gonna be sexy! FTW!

I'm drinking my favorite MoguMogu again. I've been doing this the past few days. It's really yummy. I couldn't last the day without it. I wish there was someway I could get my Water Chestnut fix here in the Philippines. I miss Water Chestnut bigtime! Mogumogu is a close second. Someone get me that please!

I'm hungry but I've got to go back to the gym. I know... how plastic can I get LOL!

Did You Know I Was EMO?!

I did go through a phase where being alone and hurting was the only way of life. I admit that I have been introverted throughout college and I'm not ashamed to be called EMO. It's really a way of life and I don't know what I could have been without experiencing that. I also got into friends who are in the same state as I am and that made life easier for me. Today it is so easy to get together on line because of Emo Chat city and that is not even half of what you can do there. Aside from connecting with friends on the same predicament, you get to enjoy what you are doing because you know how they feel. You are like kindred spirits!

You can also get to win prizes and giveaways. It is a whole community, people from different walks of life that merge and enjoy each others company. I just got them on my social network. If you are in this state it would be so nice to get to know more people in the same lifestyle. Oh how I wish I could turn back time and get back to that look that I so adore! It's cool to be different and it is awesome to be EMO. Need I say more?!

The COMPLEX Lifestyle Store Launch!

It's so COMPLEX!

Just a stone's throw away from my office is the Eastwood Mall and I must say I've been there quite a lot because of its obvious proximity to shops, movies, restaurants, you name it they've got it!

This time however it's all about shoes, yeah the addicted boy succumbs to his wishes again and pretended not to mind the shoes (I had 30+ pairs at home already get the point?!) but I really did. This is the COMPLEX Store... I was drooling the moment I arrived at the event and why not! There was Marc Ecko, Zoo York, PONY among others that I truly adore... from classic ones to sneakers, oh boy the colors were just awesome! My Size 11 (foot) was screaming for justice and want to own a new pair! There's also a collaboration between some local designers and those in the US; it was so nice to see that. If I had the chance, I'd design my own line of shoes soon!

The clothes were casual - street wear. Definitely possible to mix and match.

Need I say more?! I was definitely in Shangrila that night! (Eastwood but it was like shoe heaven!)

After the show of course we were treated to something good. Us-2 Evil-0 also performed! Definitely my taste of music!

It was also a treat to see one of my favorite bloggers Mitch Dulce. She's a Milliner/Designer/Corsetiere and I admire her awesome love for fashion and the arts! She's also making names for the Philippines in UK, Japan and elsewhere in the world. Soooo Cute!... *CRINGE*

I also got to see Electrolychee and WeWillDoodle as they made the works of art that will be displayed on the store. They were really good believe me! =)



It was an awesome night. I got to satisfy my need for art, entertainment and SHOES! I already shopped there just now. You should do that soon too! =) Lots of must haves for Christmas! Make sure you drop by the Complex Lifestyle Store at the Second Level of Eastwood Mall! See you there!

Sometimes there are things that you never want to happen. This evening while I was lounging around my home I stood up and suddenly slipped into a complete split. I got my skin cut by a nail sticking out the hardwood floor and there was blood everywhere. I was so afraid it was going to be something serious that I needed Michael Pines to sue the contractors but I was relieved when the bleeding stopped. I had to check in the hospital just to make sure I didn't get any infection and they got the whole thing bandaged; sent me home after a couple of minutes. I was so glad it didn't turn out that bad.

My Grandpa fell in a mall escalator and got 3 of his ribs broken but that time it was serious. He had to be brought to the hospital and operated on. He stayed there for weeks and needed a lot of things to recuperate because of his weak constitution. I was glad he was sent home after a month and a half. Clearly something had to be done so he got his lawyers to sue the mall because it was clearly their fault. He got compensated for the suffering brought about by this experience. I hope it doesn't happen to anyone. I'm glad he's trying to live a normal life even with the stitches and scars of the incident. I hope we all try to learn how to live safely. Accidents like these could happen to anyone, anytime. Be safe!

This happened to me so it can happen to you too! I'm not joking! So try your best to be safe guys!

I need to do this every once in a while or else I'll burst!

I haven't got a haircut for the longest time. What am I doing? Am I gonna grow this out and get my hair long again? Oooh how I wish it was that easy. You would need to go through an awkward phase again if I do that. That would look very unprofessional though. Heheh =)

I want to shoot whoever is in the DOT. Didn't he hear the people? Someone is definitely NOT thinking. It ain't me obviously!

Blogger friends are either celebrating or leaving. Am I going to celebrate something too? Hmmm... I'm still thinking about it though. Maybe if I get to pay my bills I'll have a contest soon. You need to make an effort though and that wouldn't be easy. =)

I want to go out but I'm really tired from all the things we did this week. I want to get a massage for the longest time but oh boy, I haven't figured out where to get it! Help!

I'm having problems uploading videos in facebook, is it just me or is it just me? LOL What the hell is wrong with this thing! This is supposed to be easy!

Why are other people successful and others are not? It's because of FEAR... just the notion of not trying will never get you anywhere... so I need to do what I need to do. You do yours! =)

It's a Holiday!

It is so nice that I was able to take a short vacation last week. The time with my folks and sister was indeed something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I was lucky I had time over the weekend because that's the only way I could take a vacation. My leave credits are for conversion so I'll save that for a rainy day. I might be able to get my brother in Ireland/UK involved on my next plans because of the great Holiday Parks in Cornwall that I can go to. I'm sure he'll be so happy to get our family some quality time. I probably should bring his favorite food too so he doesn't miss Mom's cooking. He is a little busy so we need to maximize trips like this in nearby places so he wouldn't miss going back to work. He just started on his new job as head chef of a famous tourist spot and that's a priority.

To fight stress and to keep the people in my life happier I need to take time and get strategic ways to do my vacation. It is important to do my job but I need to balance that with quality time for my family. I work because of them anyway so it is just right to make them also part of the priorities that I speak of. I'm so excited now! I want to see these places and make them part of my portfolio too. I want to squeeze in my photography of course! All work and no play make me a dull boy! So wish my luck when I get my embassy interview... I need it!

Philippine Fashion Week 2010: AXE presents Men's Wear Collection Part II

This is the second part of the Men's Wear Collection series by AXE. Let me add in a few more pieces...

Key element: Blue Green Shirt which even though is simple matches the whole outfit. This color is also one of the few bold ones for this season. Other shots here show also Belts to be a key part of the outfit. This is not even used on formal clothing and therefore pops up. I love how it works with casual clothes + white shoes. The structured Gray shirt also works!

Key Pieces: Coats and Scarfs. Coats can be structured and hugged by large leather insert belts and accessorized by scarfs for that easy go lucky look. Even if the guy goes out without the shirt and just used the scarf it does actually look good. You just need the body to carry this though. No I'm not attempting!

Key item: Front pocket pants, Batik Printed shirt, structured coat and scarf. These are also mostly in neutral colors and is definitely a must have this season.

Key items: Coat and Chaleco. No matter how simple your attire is like a shirt it never fails to jazz up the whole impact of your clothes. It makes those formal coats usable on casual occasions. This is really awesome!

The Games Awesome People Play

Do you want to see what's keeping me busy at home? If I have free time and choose to chill around the house I try a lot of games on the Internet. I'd like to recommend a couple of them here so you'd get to enjoy what I've been playing all day long. It's quite easy and you don't need to install anything just as long as you have flash enabled on your browsers. Have you ever played boxhead2? If not then you are going to have so much fun playing as the swashbuckling box equivalent of your heroes in the silver screen. You can choose between them and try every possible way to defeat enemies as they try to hit you and shoot back. If you see the boss just make sure you don't get to cocky and feel invincible because you'll die for sure! It takes a couple of hits to do so and it isn't a good thing to repeat everything when you are almost there!

How about playing this other one called age of war? You would surely be the envy of your friends if they saw you playing this great offense/defense strategy game. When I showed it to them they immediately grabbed their laptop computers and tried to outrank me! Of course they are going to have a hard time doing that because I've conquered a lot of levels already! You'd be so powerful you can cast a special spell and have meteors swarm over your enemy. It's really a treat to see! Make sure you also get your web master friends to check them out soon because there are opportunities on blogging for money with our friends on YOUSAYTOO.COM! They'll generate traffic, get more readers and share their articles on line fast and efficient. That's just way too fun!
