MANILA's FINEST: A Period Film That Discusses Current Issues

Wednesday, December 24, 2025

Just watched Manila's Finest last night and from a viewers standpoint, it was a cinematographic masterpiece. It's a period film, set in the late 60's, that tells the story of what transpired during those years with the Manila Police District. While life was simple, it wasn't any less complicated as the atrocities of love, family, relationships and politics become real and present danger.

Piolo Pascual plays Homer Magtibay, a very optimistic cop who's got his own demons to vanquish. He's got his own crew that includes Enrique Gil who plays Billy Ojeda, Romnick Sarmienta who plays Severino Meneses, Joey Marquez as Rogelio Liwanag, and Dylan Menor as newbie cop Efren Taguyonon. He will begin most of his challenging life when Cedrick Juan who plays PC Metrocom Danilo Abad comes into the picture, and makes his once tranquil life into something a lot problematic.

They made us see the causes of Martial Law lengthy, of what intricate things were done to make it happen. Fact or fiction, this makes them question loyalties, principles, betrayal, how corruption blur the lines of what's right and wrong. While it is set in the 60's, it still discusses something that is sadly happening til now. Piolo Pascual has always been an excellent actor, and a nomination for Best Actor award would not be surprising. Another notable performance would be for the role of his daughter in the film played by Ashtine Olviga. Her role might not have appeared much in the movie, but it is pivotal for the rift between characters, and her endearing ways of communicating emotions is unquestionably brilliant. Enrique too is another, but I think he would've needed more dialogue and grit, but that's just me.

What I'm loving is that they're absolutely BRAVE in doing this film during this regime. That alone deserves something, including the quality of work in post production which might get them a nod. They deserve 4 cows 🐮🐮🐮🐮/5. I'm a little sad that though realizing how the problems in the 60's are still present, like corruption to it's core.

If you want to see the film this coming Christmas, be ready for something a little cerebral. This obviously has been made with higher production value, and that's because of MQuest and the MVP group. Hopefully they'd be able to create more of this even after MMFF 2026!

JM IBARRA and FYANG SMITH Excited About First MMFF Appearance via SHAKE RATTLE and ROLL Evil Origins

Friday, October 31, 2025

Every Metro Manila Film Festival, there's sort of an expected entry from the folks of Regal Films. It's tradition, something that movie goers flock to when it's Christmas, even to watch something scary during the season meld into episodes that have become iconic reminders of lore, monsters and fantasy. This year, they made the conscious decision of putting in one of the most popular love team of this generation, JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, aka JMFyang. After their stint at PBB, the two have had shows and appearances in ABSCBN and of course, we can't discount how fans have really consumed content about them on social media, further cementing their status as artists capable of carrying their own movie now. This would be a litmus paper test, including the recent Ghosting show they've been in in recent months.

Fyang says "I'm so happy about the part 1 of Ghosting, that's why we're doing part 2 very soon. Thank you for those who loved it, if it weren't for you this wouldn't happen. We came from a reality show, we are super close friends. He's a "maginoong lalake!". I really like horror movies, I sit on several movies for hours and SRR is something that already exists before I was born, and every Christmas it's something that people anticipate. We want to watch it in it's entirety. I really feel things, I think it's because I came from the province and I often am alone in the house. I remember when something mentioned my name and my cousins didn't believe it."

She adds "I couldn't believe that I'd be really fond of Sassagurl because I was too shy to approach her. She's my happiness and when we met I didn't think we'd click or gel. I am so happy about that. When we see each other bardagulan agad! FranSeth was super easy to work with because they're very focused on the work, they don't get distracted when the film is rolling. They also share and support other artists like us. We really did what we can for DJ Elle, it's already a win to just be part of it. It's a bonus if we win."

JM says "Until now I've been on cloud 9 hearing feedback from my movie in Cinemalaya. I'm happy and thankful for that opportunity to work in the film. We're just enjoying what's happening in and out of showbiz. Episode 2 is about the present time. It's a big thing to be included because this is one of the biggest and longest running franchise in Philippine cinema. We are just overwhelmed. I'm sure we'll be together during Christmas. When I was in Quezon, something really tried to mimic my Dad's voice."

Then he told us "Sassa, Seth and Dylan were really nice people. Working with them was super fun. Seth is really serious when working, he's also funny so it is easy to approach him when we need to. I feel we'll be satisfied with the work we did, and I hope viewers would appreciate that."

Here's the press conference on video:

During the event, Keith Monteverde was at the venue to support the two. Everyone's optimistic that the first MMFF appearance of JMFyang will be as successful as they predict because they see something promising from the two.

Though it's my first time interacting with them, they're super nice and I hope the support their getting translate into box office success so they can make more movies in the future including one that involves love and romance, something JMFyang fans would enjoy! Congratulations to both JM and Fyang, can't wait to see what you've got in store for those who love you. Anyone who's nice deserves that success.

MMFF 2023 Entry "KAMPON" Starts Unusual Scaring on December 25th

Monday, December 11, 2023

MMFF is certainly a venue to watch a multitude of genres, and with that comes Quantum Films' entry called KAMPON starring Derek Ramsay and Beauty Gonzales, will be shown this Christmas day along with 9 other entries in the festival. The movie is about the depths of love, divulging secrets and fear brought about the unknown. They're a couple, "reproductively" challenged and was trying to conceive for over 8 years. A child suddenly appears and claims to be Clark Martinez's (played by Derek) daughter. The material has been in worked on for years, and has been so good to have landed the 4th during selections, so they meticulously worked on cinematography, scoring and it's effects, you'll love how it will look like in cinemas. This is the first time Beauty Gonzalez is doing MMFF 2023, and the addition of Zeinab Harake to the cast will get this a fresh take on just your usual other woman role. It was fun to see her talk about her character after the press conference.

Derek says "We never seemed to have problems on the set, Atty. Joji doesn't sugarcoat things, and I like that. If she doesn't like what you're doing, she will tell you and call it out. When she is happy, she tells so and encourages us."

Asked about his personal life he says "Right now me and my wife are also trying to conceive a baby, so I need to really be hands on in taking care of the wife and hopefully a baby. We will focus on that and try, sad we lost the baby on a trip in Spain. She is okay, I am a little off, I just worry."

About Zeinab, Derek adds "Zeinab? I couldn't believe she was a first timer, she went straight to character and she delivered in our scene, we had to bite lips, slam me on the wall."

Beauty says "They really take good care of me and we did scenes as fast as we could so there wouldn't be discomfort for both of us. You can ask my husband or Ellen, we laugh about these things."

Here's our video coverage of the media conference this afternoon.

Being part of the first 4 films announced this MMFF 2023, Atty. Joji of Quantum Films knows that they have a really good film in their hand. They are now going to battle it out with 9 other entries in the festival, but with confidence, they hope to offer this project that has been made with quality in mind. It has already been part of a film festival in Portugal, which they also proudly announced during the press conference. This is also somewhat a comeback film of Derek Ramsay who said he couldn't say NO when it's Atty. Joji asking him to make a movie. I also find Zeinab's character quite an interesting one, albeit her first time in a project like this, she got the nod of her fellow actors. Beauty as always delivers, the interaction between her, the kid Erin Espiritu and Derek Ramsay would be a fun way to showcase their acting chops, perhaps win them a coveted Best Actor, Actress, or Child Star award in the process. Make sure you make this as part of your movie watching lineup this Christmas.

It just screams good, hopefully you'll end up doing that too.

Must Watch at Summer MMFF: Here Comes The Groom

Wednesday, March 29, 2023

With the summer heat coming in, it's about time that the Sunmer Metro Manila Film Festival start. It will be held on April 8-18, and one of the entries from Quantum Films, CineKo and Brightlight Productions called "HERE COMES THE GROOM" is offering an all star cast plus full blown comedy for this MMFF season.

If you remember Angelica Panganiban, John Lapus, Tuesday Vargas, Jaime Fabregas' previous hit film called "Here Comes the Bride!", this is officially the sequel for it. This stars Enchong Dee, Keempee De Leon, Maris Racal, Gladys Reyes, Awra Briguela, Eugene Domingo, Miles Ocampo, Tony Labrusca, Nico Antonio, Iyah Mina, Fino Herrera, Kim Atienza, plus the special participation of RPDR Philippines Xilhouette and Kaladkaren.

They promise an even funnier one with "Here Comes the Groom" as the sequel has a totally different story line. From a whole family going to a wedding, they suddenly experience a phenomenon during the eclipse which made them swap bodies and personalities with gay pageant regulars, and that's where the fun and crazy antics start. If you're asking if they would be able to go back to normal, that's what the movie will answer if you watch it. "Here Comes the Groom" is written and directed by Chris Martinez and again is the official entry of these three production companies to the Summer Metro Manila Film Festival.

I watched it this evening, and I can confirm, it's one crazy fun film that would be fit for friends who have humor,  timing and knack for good slapstick and situational comedy.

Why You Need See CULION This MMFF 2019

Tuesday, December 24, 2019

The weekend was an awesome one (Dec 14th) as we got to finally see the film CULION. We were all where it all was shot and taken, in the island of Culion, Palawan which is an isle off the west side of the Philippines. It was their world premiere, and yes, it was a grand promise to bring it there and have them all watch it. It was almost impossible to do, but they knew (the production) had to do it for the people of Culion. I saw how they intently watched and marveled how their story was unfolding. It felt right, to tell the public of their history, of what transpired during the commonwealth, the world war and how they all survived even under very hard times, not to mention the condition... of which everyone else despised during that time.

Anna, Ditas and Doris (played by Iza Calzado, Meryll Soriano and Jasmine Curtis) each have their own story. In the film, Anna was depicted as a strong woman, one who need no man to support her even though she was loved much by Kanor played by Joem Bascon. You will admire her character for most of the “first half” of the film, but later feel for her and her struggles as she gets distraught over her baby and what would happen to them. Ditas on the other hand would be seen attempting to take her life several times (because of sheer hopelessness in love, and the man in her life) but with all the nice things she’s brought to the lives of her friends and herself in the colony, she would regain hope, and start to appreciate the small things around her. Meryll Soriano is a discovery for me, I have seen her TV stints and didn’t quite expect she’d be doing the things she did in this movie. I almost lost my breath understanding one of the highlights of the film. I am saying right here, that the few minutes with John Lloyd Cruz’ character was one of the reasons everybody balled during the world premiere last weekend, with good reason. If you’re a fan of his work, this would be good reason why you should watch it. I couldn’t believe how he could tell his whole story in one scene, you will go crazy just thinking about it.

Meryll on the other hand held her ground, when John Lloyd did his scene, she reciprocated with her own brand of acting, both of which will make your jaw drop. You will ask yourself “WTFOMGBBQ did I just witness?!” and admit “I am not worthy to witness that!”, and I... am not even joking.

Make sure you also take note, not surprising she’s really good, Iza Calzado had some really hard scenes with Joem Bascon and Suzette Ranillo (who plays Nanay Mameng), as they will have to go through a very traumatic experience as they started to have a family in Culion. I couldn’t say much with Jasmine Curtis’ character but hold your horses as she will be shocking you (my heart dropped in one of the scenes), but she’s the hopeful one, one who dreams, and might liken a lot of people going through the same ordeal. Pretty mental, as her scenes felt like a few of Ricky Lee’s masterpiece put together, and I think they have a connection in some weird way but you have to be a judge of that.

Here’s our short trip to the island, enjoy!

If you were there during the world premiere in Culion, you would see how attentive, hopeful and proud they were seeing this film in the Immaculate Conception Church in Culion. I saw a lot of them cried, laughed a little, and felt this was a good representation of who they are as people. Now, what a proud moment for them to be from Culion.

All in all, this deserves your attention during the Metro Manila Festival. Watch it to learn about history, watch it to see the triumph of generations who have lived and experienced the colony. Watch it for the sole reason of love, for the children, for each other, and see miracles of humanity in it. It will all be seen on theaters nationwide starting December 25, Christmas Day. Go prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions. Take your family into learning the history of Culion, and the love that comes from its people.

Jasmine Curtis, Myke Liwag and Nico Locco for CULION

Thursday, December 19, 2019

Spent the morning at Black Maria Pictures for the private screening of Culion. The movie is set to impress audiences this coming December 25 as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival. Before we watched the film, we got to talk to Jasmine Curtis, Mike Liwag and Nico Locco who are also part of the film. These three had their own character conflicts, one that will shock you on cinemas because yes, it is worthy to find out this MMFF season (let's not spoil it for the others). For starters, they're like an unlikely love triangle which I think is going to stir things in the lives of the three women, and their community.

Jasmine says "I am already happpy just to be in the ranks of actors who have done so much great work in the industry. I already felt good making it with top caliber actresses. I am more in indie, not loud on TV, low key, simple and happy that I am working with those who I were all just watching on screen. I wanted to work with Iza and Meryll and it already happened. We got along real good, it was just a dream to do this and I was inspired to share the same work ethics and enjoy it. We had the same mindset at work, and it's good."

Nico Locco, who recently won Best Actor at the Gawad Sining Film Festival adds "The difference between this and my Sabado film is the character, a little similar, but unique as I didn't know anything about it at first. My role in Sabado is interesting but Culion has historical drama, I had to do a different preparation for it."

Mike Liwag says "Physically, mentally it is a challenge, I haven't tackled anything of this magnitude and I am excited to watch it come gala night together with my parents. I hope they would be proud of me."

Here is our short interview with them before the screening.

Direk Alvin Yapan will be entering this to other film festivals but will probably enter a different version than this commercial release. It will run around 2 hours, I'll have a separate article for the review and a short feature on Mike Liwag. Stay tuned! Make sure you make this a part of your MMFF list this Christmas day!

Heartwarming Storyline: Write About Love to Impress at MMFF

Wednesday, December 11, 2019

Missed this event but we had our compadre Jim of mrjimboy.com cover for us at the premiere night of Write About Love, a supposed romcom film produced by TBA Studios as entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival. Unbeknownst to those who have not watched it yet (of course including you as it's gonna be shown Christmas Day) the film is about two writers bound to clash creatively as one is rooted in making indie and the other is more mainstream films.

TBA Studios shot this a few months back, but the movie has transcened from being solely a good story. Albeit this is Director Crisanto B Aquino's directorial debut, he managed to put out inordinate conflict between the writers and squeeze in a considerable amount of affairs for the heart despite being attached to different parties. It likens the heartfelt fascination between their minds as they take directions in interpretation, though one asks, how did they get to spark interest after that?

The story borders mainstream and indie too, which hell approaches in telling an inception love story. #WriteAboutLove isn’t a typical romance film that would go the lengths of introducing a boy to a girl, in awkward situations, no love at first sight because they took time to grow on you. It makes you think of your own perception of love. It makes you question what love is — the kind that's not limited to romanticism, of terms of endearment and labels. The movie takes the path of cracking sick in making decisions — either good or bad. It makes you decide on what kind of story you put out there, and involve your own life. As funny as it sounds, we invest ourselves in work and relationships.

Write About Love is unconventional, it stands out from the run of the mill formulas they usually do. The film is not at all cheesy, but it puts tiny moments that are cute, heartwarming and captivating. Kudos to several iconic lines they delivered as expected with experienced actors like Joem Bascon and Rocco Nacino. Likewise with Miles Ocampo and a tad different Yeng Constantino. They also equipped it with an ambrosial musical score (by THE Jerrold Tarog), and be assured you'll cry a few times in 4 scenes. They delivered them all subtly and effectively.

You will see Rocco Nacino’s best performance to date, even if they're a new pairing, he didn't get awkward with Miles at all. He deserves a huge part on the back for riding his bike from his DOTS shoot, and back after the Premiere Night. Talk about dedication no? Joem Bascon is also on a league of his own, he didn't shortchange his role at all.

It would be a good film to watch this Christmas, especially for those who have weird and unconventional relationships. Write About Love is part of #MMFF2019, take a moment to get this as part of your list when theaters open this Christmas day!

AURORA Gives Fright on Cinemas MMFF 2018

Thursday, December 20, 2018

I arrived a bit late on the red carpet because of holiday traffic but I am watching the AURORA premiere as this is part of the MMFF. I wanted to watch all of them but let’s just see what we can.
I got to catch a few stars because the movie was already starting, so I only got to photograph Viva’s Yassi Pressman, the Director Yam Laranas, stars Marco Gumabao and Anne Curtis.

The film is set on an island with clear skies, crystal waters. It is certainly provincial, albeit color graded coldly with hues of blues and gray, you could tell how rural the place is as it’s shot in Batanes. The underwater scenes are give and take, some nice, some staged prolly for safety reasons, but it was convincing on some instances, some not especially on the drone cuts. The horror factor though, there are a lot of scenes for that. They took time to build up, but the injects of shock was effective. I bet this thing would get an award for musical score as they took time making that accompany the scenes, aside from the water it was a little claustrophobic. They detailed the accident that happened in this movie so you should listen to the story of Marco Gumabao’s brother in the film. They will also get you to feel how it is inside the ship, not to spoil things but the scary stuff probably is just the best part about this story.

Is it going to be worth your money? Yes, I think so. If you’re a fan of scary films this is probably what you should watch first this MMFF. Although there might be constraints in the budget for this film, it looks they spent good money on people for this film which made seeing the victims part legitimate, I also like the part where they were in a tight spot with waters rushing in on the ship. How did it end? It’s for you to find out on theaters this December 25.

This is produced by Viva Films and Aliud Entertainment. Go frighten yourself, your whole family if you want to.

Jericho Rosales, Jessy Mendiola for “The Girl in the Orange Dress” this MMFF 2018

Friday, December 14, 2018

This is definitely one of the films people look forward to watch because why not, it’s the only one discussing romance this December and ultimately combining two fine actors that have never been paired up, discussing a matter that anyone can relate to; when you fall in love with someone you think is not at your level, but forgot that they too are human just like you.

Here is our interview with the Jesse and Jericho during the shoot of the film:

Jessy Mendiola says “The craziest celebrity thing I did? I chose my heart over my career, but I didn’t regret any part of it. About the hungover story, I remember getting hung over after promising to pay for my friends birthday party. I checked my wallet the day after and the receipt was there. When I called her it was as if she paid for it, that was crazy. You need to watch this because it’s Christmas, it is fun, it is about giving and sharing, you will fall in love with us. If you see what Quantum produces every year, they have got so much promise because all their romantic films have done well. It just makes you feel good, please watch this as it focuses on love.”

Ria Atayde says “I am a huge Jericho Rosales fan and Echo is just amazing. You will also fall in love with the movie in the few hours it will be shown. ”

Jericho Rosales says “Every profession has good and bad things, the steady career, the perks, free stuff, attention, people think they know you, some actors abuse their popularity. Things happen, bash us, make a perception, it’s just a dog eat dog kind of industry and we work long hours without benefiting from the government. I have always pointed out that I didn’t want to be a celebrity, I just want to be an actor. I need to even watch this because Lino is depressing, I need something kilig, something that would get me over friendship issues. You should watch it because it will make you feel normal, smiling, because it really feels good. You need positive chemicals before you plan to watch the other things because this just gives good vibes. We didn’t put so much weight on the dress, it was just stolen, but when you see her from afar, you can identify her like a scandal on his head. Actually, this is about friendship. About running away from limelight, I did want that a few times in the past, but I don’t like the days when I get compared to anyone, affecting my family and my son and this kinda gives you a glimpse of that. It’s like a rock and roll world. It is not the dress, but the girl in the orange dress. I must say my fans, they are not much and they give me advice, they are the thinking, accepting kind of fans.”

Go watch The Girl in the Orange Dress this December 25 and see how you can enjoy someone else’s adventurous relationship, romance and love story. Talk to the person beside you in the cinema but not to be scary, who knows, you might fall in love there too.

Vic Sotto and Dawn Zulueta for MEANT TO BEH

Thursday, December 07, 2017

MZET and APT Entertainment will make your Christmas season even more FUN and romantic as they dish out this family film called MEANT TO BEH as part of Metro Manila Film Festival 2017.

Dawn Zulueta was so happy to be oart of it and she says "As an actor I just mirrored it with real life and the delivery is just the difference. I hardly do any comedy but it's exciting to discover this. I believe respect holds the glue to a relationship, and love too. It's nice to learn from the young ones, your mindset is like when you want to get into their heads, it's like an intellectual excercise so I learn a lot of things from them and I can't say anything bad about the people in our cast, they're really good. Bossing is still the same but I've learned how he as an actor is so good in drama. I felt his sincerity, he's very effective. It's an exciting discovery and if he does another one soon, this is a nice preview of what he can do. I don't have any beauty secrets, I just make an effort, perhaps the outlook, I have different friends in different age groups. You have to have time to learn new things from young people. They are just waiting for this and when this project came along I was just thrilled to work with him after so many DECADES haha. I sure hope this earns a lot so we can have a part 2, and hope they get me again ha! You don't feel comedy is work when you are here, it's so energizing and I go home I reach another level of funny. Doing this is something else, a really good break for me."

Bossing Vic Sotto says "Even if last year I missed a lot, it's so nice to finally been able to go back. The fantasy genre has always been a good niche for me but I wanted to so something realistic, it's a serious movie but we just present it in a light manner. The theme is heavy but since this is a family thing, we had to make it apt for Christmas, be family centric. After watching the movie, you'll feel a lot of things that would include values we would like to impart. In a manner you'll laugh, but still learn from it. Acceptance for what he or she is, nothing would come out of it if it's always one person adjusting to the other. Like Dawn's character and how she is totally different from me, I like that part. I like these young actors, these millenials because if they're good they take their jobs seriously. When we started initially, we didn't know how he would deliver but he did, BASTE will be the next BIG thing. We actually learn from them too, they set good examples to the youth. As an actor you want to do everything, not just drama or comedy, you have to perform well in whatever role you get. It may have been a different genre now but it's a serious funny theme, it's difficult but you'll find fun in the conversations with no effort, I just trusted the scene and script. It's still important to earn from it so that you can have another film to show next time. If I come across a very good script, who knows, TVJ may come back but it has to be a good script. When we were planning this, we already had Dawn in mind and this film is some sort of first for me. I now have had the chance to do "idawn zulueta mo ako" in person. If it's about advice, the new actors we had may well advise us because they are good. When we were casting we didn't have problems casting from other networks, it didn't really matter, it felt like actors were not forced into a boundary. Now you may have limitations but shouldn't be a big deal. We all come from one industry. Please watch us first but please watch other films in the festival too. I don't want to put competition on the festival, our goal is to make people happy during Christmas so let's work together, that's the message we are trying to project here too. They are neither kapamilya or kapuso, they are all Kabisotes."

Director Chris Martinez adds "Friendship and love is the secret to a lasting relationship. Bossing is going to be a bit serious here, it's a best actor piece for him so you have to find out if he performs. It's really something different from the both of them."

JC Santos says "If you know yourself and you give your true self to your partner, that can get your relationship to last. I always try and see how they interact with each other, but I'm so glad they don't have star complex at all... they're all really humble. If you look at the Meant To Beh script, you just have to execute it and I'm very lucky to have worked with them."

Make sure you watch the movie this December 25, bring your family because it's intended for you.

Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay for ALL OF YOU

Friday, December 01, 2017

I miss her a lot, you must miss Derek too. Well, for those who miss them both on screen... this would definitely be a treat! The lovely Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay will star in this Quantum Films and MJM Productions entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 called ALL OF YOU which will show on December 25 this year. As you may know, they've already proven their work with the hit movie ENGLISH ONLY PLEASE last 2014 made by the same director Dan Villegas. This time, they're leveling up and remarks that you'll see an even more daring and sizzling pair up between the two stars and a fun quirky ensemble cast to boot.

Direk Dan Villegas says "The main difference is the level of maturity, this is very real and not much aspirational. It's down to earth and very far from EOP. We have a lot of sensual scenes here, we tried to capture that. The poster depicts just that, if you have gotten the last piece and it fits then you've given all of you. You only give that in work, in family and only if you are sure you he/she's the right one. It's difficult to describe why the are good actors because sometimes you just see them on screen, even when I'm editing and they become real. They might have started skeptic in a way but they ended up in a relationship. We shot this in Taiwan, it's magical there. You'll see that in the film."

Jennylyn Mercado adds "Here, she's more matured, more natural in a sense that they delve into real happenings in relationships. I haven't really used a dating app but I see my friends do it and they have fun, I see them experience and enjoy it. I guess in a way it's more sensual. The first day was already a love scene and it kinda shocked us, it was awkward at first but it all got good reviews. We got an R13 rating so I'm sure there will be more people who can watch it. I'm not in the position of Via but I think in my situation, I do it for my family. We should never enter a relationship when we are not sure, because in the end we will not justbe hurting ourselves, but other people too. Derek is quite good in drama, even back then he's really good and I pull emotions from him sometimes. He helps me and it's like team work. Sometimes, direk shows me how it's done and it's like very personal for him. So anybody can relate. Both characters also get perspectives from their characters, we support different facets. Trust, love, you give your all if you are committed. Here you promise something, whether it's in a relationship, work, it might be easy to say that as a word but to do it is going to be difficult. Make sure you are ready, in yourself. If you're good, then you're okay."

Derek Ramsay adds "We want to project something real so here, you'll be loving the sweet moments, the marriage as it feels like a slice of life. I haven't used one but even in the set I see a lot of people do it through an app. We kinda get how they react and do it with our characters. My friends in frisbee do it a lot even if we are out of the country. For me I have been able to give all of myself but it hasn't been reciprocated. For me I won't get into a relationship without that in my mind. If I allow myself to be committed I already give everything in the beginning. Most of the things depicted here are mostly things that have happened in his life, that was cool and a new experience for me. She's a very versatile actress (Jen), proven, jologs and serious at the same time. People do appreciate that. Commitment is very important, you show that when you are in the situation."
