Century Tuna Outs Heartwarming Short "Dahilan"
Wednesday, January 05, 2022
Ugh... here goes Century Tuna doing a heart pinching video to showcase the love for Mom. Seeing it yesterday for the first time made me very emotional, because as a certified Mama's boy, you always want the best for your Mom who sacrificed her life just to make you who you are today.
This is the handy work of famed director Antoinette Jadaone entitled "Dahilan". Guy works out even during the pandemic, eats and cooks a healthy meal, prepares a sumptuous brunch then fetches his Mom, carry her up a flight of stairs and had a heartfelt date. He made Mom cry, with joy in her heart, appreciates the gesture of her son. Ms. Antonette says Century Tuna and her ideas jived to put in front that it's not just physical strength that is important these days, but also mental. This talks more about living a healthy lifestyle so you get to spend it with people you love. They call this "Century Tuna LOVE STRONG". This is so apt for the times.

Jollibee Outs Commercial on What Happiness Costs These Days
Monday, August 02, 2021
So, let me ask you, does happiness have to cost a lot? Well, the folks at Jollibee just made a new commercial recently that does not just showcase their Jollisaver meals, but a whole lotta fun talk about how you would want to become young and at what cost. Check out this video they posted on the Jollibee Facebook page:
Now go and order on the Jollibee app and jollibeedelivery.com or their hotline #87000. Either that or just go to the stores for pickup or drive thru. Make more memories, that's better than aging skin.
JOLLIBEE Sparks Hope In New Commercial
Tuesday, May 25, 2021
Looks like our friends from Jollibee are at it again with these commercials. If not shock, I'd expect people to always be extremes either to be romantic or cry. Not that we're surprised but this one is pretty special. This digital short was shot in New York and directed by award winner Law Chen (from Singapore).
It's about a migrant family (year 2060) talking about the hardships and tribulations we've all encountered in 2020 and 2021. The pandemic has made businesses stop, work halted, people sent to hospitals as they get sick, and literally turned our lives upside down. They took a jab at being hopeful, what good this incident has made all of us. It made us see what is important, to become together as a family, to get back up and give ample attention to the things we took for granted.
I totally agree, 2020 became the year of the family because we got closer, we looked out for each other and pretty much, it has made this pandemic a little bearable. We needed to survive and we had our family, not just to care, but be there for us on the most difficult times.
Jollibee made me cry twice already, but I'll have that Champ tomorrow. I need to comfort myself now. Go watch it and see how you'll feel afterwards.
