In the Philippines, we've come to see how Robust has inculcated in the lives of so many men... and in the process, fix personal physical issues when they get to a certain age. The brand has recently held a "Real Robust Challenge", a video blog competition amongst the Philippines' most talented content creators as they feature the all natural power packed supplement that contains Epidmedium Extract, Goat Weed, which is a Chinese aphrodisiac. It also has Gingko Biloba Leaf, Ginseng, Dansheng and Dahurian Angelica root, plus L-Arganine, for that long lasting performance.
Racking up millions of views for each video, they announced the top entries at the event a few nights ago. The Real Robust Challenge winners won 300k for 3rd Place given to Elaiza Sy (21,870,184 views), 500K for the 2nd Place went to FCY Channel (24,173,225 views), while the top prize of 1 Million went to VinF TV (41,285,748 views). Other top entries also won 30,000. Mind you, they also gave the prizes that day in cold cash, tax free!
The event was also graced by ATC Healthcare executives, makers of Robust in the country. Also in the crowd was the nice Raffy Tulfo himself, he was really nice talking in the sidelines especially to other vloggers who went up to him to take selfies.
They also announced that this will be repeated next year, but since ATC Healthcare International is feeling extra generous, Robust and Livermarin will be joining forces to give a whopping Php 2 Million for the winner in 2024. Congratulations on a very successful event! I can't wait to join the contest next year, it'll probably be huge as more content creators would take a jab at the prize and enjoy the same benefits that Robust gives.
As mentioned, this is Ian Veneracion's foray to something that will be internationally released. The film is going to be released in 10 countries (maybe even more later on). As this is acquired already by the Prime Video platform it would be accessible to the market they intended this to be shown to. Direk Lester mentioned that there's millions of audiences waiting for a glimpse of what Filipino action films are. There's certainly a lack of it, but if there's someone who would be nice to see out there, Ian Veneracion would be a sight for sore eyes. For those who don't know, he's done a lot of action films in the late 90's and 2000's. He's not new to the genre, and he didn't stay away from doing physical training for it because it's part of his lifestyle to shoot, do martial arts and spar every once in a while. He was excited to do this when news came about this project. Here's part of the interview we had with him last night.
The talk also delved on the latest brouhaha about banning KDrama in the country, here's what he said about the issue.

Other artists that will also be part of this movie include Rabiya Mateo, Andrea Torres, Aljur Abrenica, Kyzer Catillo, Justin Cuyugan, Nicole Cordoves, Pepe Herrera, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo and others. This will be shown November 17, 2022 and will be in 6 parts on Thursdays thereafter. These are certainly exciting times for Filipinos to showcase how we do it in our part of the globe. Ian also says "I hope this just opens opportunities not just for me, but the talented Filipino actors that we have in the country." and by the looks of it, it's quite possible to happen soon.
Emilio Roso is in the country to share the good news from his spiritual journey. He's a director, producer, actor and author based in Hollywood in the US. This time, he's taking you to a visual and audio spectacle of the Holy Bible through an app called Vision Of The Bible.
This one takes those heartwarming stories, teachings, various chapters and verses be accompanied with audio and video effects that make you feel a different experience, especially if you haven't been to Israel or different sites where it all happened. Roso feels everyone deserves to see where these stories happened and help connect the words to reality, something he is glad to share with Filipinos.
He thought about it while on a trip in the US, and this move to Manila beckons localizing the app's content so it would be adept to subscribers from the country, which he did. The quality of videos are courtesy of over 30 of the world's top cinematographers set to follow their footsteps, and tell their stories through their lens and more. The app also features the voice of award winning Rendy Towes and a multitude of voice actors interpreted in English and Spanish. Take the opportunity to download the app today which is available at Google Play or the App Store. See how you can become part of the journey to the holy land without leaving the Philippines today!
Efforts include local Prime Video marketing to work with our very own Filipino producers and celebrity host and personality Anne Curtis. This is also the same with other Southeast Asian neighbors Thailand and Indonesia so they too get a dose of Prime Video love in their own language.
They're also offering it at Php 149 a month (introductory price) which would be charged after you consume the free 7 days on Prime Video. With it, you can download and watch it anytime, anywhere you wish and watch on compatible handsets, on Smart TV's so you can watch at the comforts of your home or out on the road to Albuquerque or Kamuning whichever comes first. This would be really interesting to see how a new player comes as Filipinos consume more content online.
From spreadsheets, work related stuff, movies, graphics, they all displayed quite nicely at the event which was also attended by celebrities. Andrei Felix hosted the event and one by one, other celebrities like Eric Tai aka Eruption, PBA's LA Tenorio, Photographer par excellance Magic Liwanag, actress Myrtle Sarrosa and all around performer Gab Valenciano took us around for a tour to look at what's new with LG monitors.
They used the 32GQ950 OLED Monitor for a race car game and it performed well under these conditions. The LG UltraGear 32GQ950 had 4K resolution, details were on point, the 144Hz refresh rate was something gamers like me would benefit in especially in first person shooting games where lag is an enemy. It also has very nice output as blacks and whites are deeper and brighter, you won't be asking for adjustments right from the start. They also used the 48GQ900 OLED Monitor for console games, and because it's got faster response time and higher refresh rate, you'll see your character take action as soon as keypress happens, no delays in platform games or 1v1 modes because it can keep up with you. You can also see less glare and reflection, something that is quite important especially when you are editing images on the screen on normal work days. Photographer Magic Liwanag showcased the LG Dual Up 28MQ780-B which he uses on portrait mode, beneficial for creatives who would want to see the whole picture then work with a lot of other things while you're rendering videos of events on the side. Myrtle Sarrosa on the other hand loves the 29WP500-B 29-inch which is a 21:9 ratio UltraWide monitor. It gives her more than enough immersive experience when she's playing her favorite games on PC plus do her tasks if she needs to do office work on the side. Gab on the other hand enjoys the LG UltraGear 32GN500 because it gets all those ghosting problems gone as it utilizes NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium at start, something people used to pay for to make things better. There were lots more in the event but I got a little excited when real NAVY personnel came in and met with Sungjae Kim the Managing Director for LG Philippines.
| They even used this setup with a real flight simulator software, like the real deal. |
LG Executives went up the stage and announced something good, they gave 30 LG UltraGear 32GN500 monitor units to the Naval Air Wing of the Philippine Navy that was also there for the occasion. That part was really touching to give these quality monitors to people that serve the country, in my books, that's huge especially knowing that they'll be able to help a lot of communities with it.

Congratulations to LG Philippines and to the men and women who organized this event M360 PR+Activations Agency. Haven't had fun in a while so this was something really good to experience physically, after being stuck at home for a number of years because of this pandemic, thank you!
I spent a couple of weeks using this phone and by any standard, it's pretty sick. This is the OPPO A95, one of OPPO's newest phones in the market and with what I've heard, this does photos and videos quite well. That's something that I need especially for creating content these days because quality before I even edit things, is certainly something that I wanted to have.
Really Good Hardware
Specs wise, the OPPO A95 doesn't dissapoint because the battery life is quite phenomenal. With 5000mAh, you can last the whole day and even have more for music and media when your events call for it. With their 33W Flash Charge, it won't be problematic if you're charging the phone for a few minutes. Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 and proprietary System Booster, you'll have performance happen on the most resource draining applications like games or editing software, which I'm pretty fond of using. I played Mobile Legends and CODM with it, heating was actually not an issue even though I've probably expected it to do so. Albeit having a plastic back panel, it didn't feel uncomfortable during the hours I've handled it. OPPO made the OPPO A95 also look classy, with that sheen you find in pearls, it has made the variant I handled (Glowing Rainbow Silver) look expensive yet stay very light.
The phone also has 8GB+128GB ROM plus its capability to expand storage. The screen is wide at 6.43 inch, so you kinda enjoy watching YouTube videos and movies when on landscape. Here's how I unboxed it a few days ago.
The OS is good
With its ColorOS 11.1, the interface is very smooth when you switch apps. I tried memory hogging apps for video editing and games, but so far, I've never had it hang at all.
Pretty Good Cameras
This has got 3 cameras at the back that's got 48MP, 2MP for the depth of field and 2MP for the macro shots. The portrait mode was actually not too overly processed and got the blurry parts right. It also didn't make the image too warm which is something that I've noticed on other brands but that's another story. The AI mode for Beautification was just enough to cover little imperfections, you can even do without it tbh. If you're fond of going back to events, even if it's dark where you're at, the night mode on front and back should do you good. They too must have figured 4K videos is a little too heavy to be edited hence the 1080P on this handset. All your raw videos can be edited on their propreitary software called SoLoop, though I haven't used it yet it kinda does things automatically so it's not gonna be hard to learn how to use it. It's also a lot easy on the eyes as it's got AI Eye Care which automatically detects brightness and adjusts the screen to your liking, or manually, you can do it too.
Does it justify the price point? Certainly, it's got a lot of premium features but remained mid-range, I think that's good. If you want to know more about the OPPO A95, check out OPPO's social channels and official website. There's lots of things you will like about it. I'm practically sold on the photos.

Aimed to please students this time, TECNO Mobile comes out with the TECNO Mobile Spark 7 Pro. It's a smartphone that can do work related tasks, video conferencing, online streaming and entertainment. The cameras on this phone include a 48 MP AI Triple Rear Camera with Quad Flash consisting of a 48MP Main Camera, a 2MP depth of field Lens and an AI Cam. It also has a Quad Rear Flash for those who need to take photos in low light conditions. It also has an 8MP Front Cam and Dual Front Flash so you can take your perfect selfies.
The Helio G80 is a 2.0 GHz Octa Core Processor capable of running different apps at the same time, so if you're a multi tasker like me, it'll be easy to work and play in one unit. It won't run out of juice easily because of its huge 5000mAh Battery which can do upto 14 days of standby time, 18 hours of calls, 16 hours of socials and up to 22 hours of music playback on your favorite pair of earphones. That's a long time, and this phone rocks it. If you're a fan of movies, the 6.6 inch screen is capable of HD+ resolution videos, on 90HZ refresh rates so you see nothing of those weird lines when it can't cope with the standard of what you are consuming as content.
The phone also has the ability of detecting your smile, pro mode shooting, night shot, time lapse, and even 2K videos. That's way enough for student activities, you can become a content creator with that video quality. So if you are keen to have a TECNO Mobile Spark 7 Pro, visit their official Lazada store as they'll have it there exclusively via https://www.lazada.com.ph/shop/tecnomobilestore/. It costs Php 6,990, which is really affordable.
If that made you stop and think about it, you deserve to get one.
Still locked down, with different terms used, but still the same potato. I'm sure just like me, you are stuck at home trying to make ends meet, trying to make sense of it all. These days, if you don't have anything to keep you sane, it'll be doubly hard to survive. These days, people look for outlets for self expression, the arts, to also preserve memories so you can reminisce on it later on. It's pretty tough not to have that with mental health, so we have to do what we can to take our mind off things, or maybe a little entertainment.
Photography, or making video content these days have now become easier with the eve of smartphones that can take even better shots sometimes than professional cameras. It's more powerful, you can even use the same phone to edit it and share the experience with family and friends at a flick of a button. The peeps from vivo didn't only donate stuff and PPE for front liners during this pandemic, they realized the importance of elevating the smartphone experience and did several campaigns over the years that would do just that for Filipinos and the rest of the world.
For the vivo v19 phones they did the Ignite Your Night campaign to show users how they can take advantage of the night photography and gaming capabilities of their phones. Aside from that, they also did one for the v20 series called Be The Focus to showcase the selfie camera capabilities of the phone. This 2021 they are getting you involved in "ALL DAY FUN" with the Y31 which is a budget phone but last so long because of its 5000mAh battery. Photos, videos, gaming, it can do all that without costing too much plus you get a chance to pursue enjoyable hobbies, that would make you happy, which is way better for your mind too.
Who would have known doing several campaigns would result to that right? It's a good thing. If you want to know more about the vivo Y31, you may check out information on https://www.facebook.com/vivo.philippines or their website https://www.vivoglobal.ph/. If you want to get one, they have their official stores on Shopee and Lazada, you'll get good deals there too!
Gamers, players, those who watch videos, make sure you check out the Vivo Y30 on official stores as they get the price down to Php 8,999. This means you'll get more bang for the buck with this mid range phone and those mobile legends match you've been playing can last in your phone for a long time.
Not just the games, but music, youtube videos, go stream things without worrying about battery life and more juice for your social media posts because this thing can handle your everyday tasks with ease. Price point for this hardware? It was already good initially but this markdown would just make this Y30 even more appealing for consumers so they don't have to spend too much for a phone that can get your photos and videos stored with its 128GB internal storage.
That means, no more deleting good memories right? Go get them now in stores and online shops because they might run out of it soon!
