Mountain Dew Asks YOU to Choose, Gets YOU New Pickup Truck!

Thursday, August 25, 2016

I had a ton of work, a photoshoot and a full working day during this launch so I missed it. Although that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy what Mountain Dew has up their sleeves at home. See, they have come out with Dewmocracy. A term they coined to introduce two of their newest flavors. I am currently a stockholder of Mountain Dew (a joke, but I've probably held down countless liters of the original Mountain Dew these past few years). I've probably drank half of it during my blue collar days as it keeps me awake in the office, people get scared when they see me easily drink a whole 1.5 bottle in one sitting. I guess it's because I like the lime flavor, it takes me back to when we were kids and I enjoyed this in glass bottles. To cut the long story short, I'm a big fan. Now that they've decided to make us have a CHOICE with these new Mountain Dew flavors, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Mountain Dew Live Wire and Mountain Dew Blue Shock. Now how about the taste?

Judging by the looks of it, colors are VERY attractive. The Mountain Dew LiveWire is pretty much your lovely Dew with a blast of Orange. When cold, you get to feel that extreme burst and sharpness on your tongue, then leaves you with a more intense orange flavor. It was like a jolt, but definitely something to love other than the original one.

The other one is the Mountain Dew BlueShock. Like the name says, it's Raspberry Citrus flavor comes like a shock. I bet this would be good for those who want something unique, because it is different. Taste wise, it's like a mix of fruit juice or more of a mocktail without the guilt of alcohol and just uses 2 fruit flavors to achieve that.

For those who would choose Mountain Dew Blue Shock or Mountain Dew Live Wire, they're making it even EXTRA fun by letting you choose your favorite among these two flavors. This is a DEWmocracy after all and everyone who practices his voice and use either hashtags #DewBlueShock or #DewLiveWire would stand a chance to win A NEW PICKUP TRUCK when you vote the winning flavor. Now how's that for your NEXT wild adventure?!

Now go post your entries on Instagram or Twitter to make your voice count. Follow them on the same channels @MountainDewPH and their official Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/mountaindewPH to know more about the promo. I personally would choose #DewLiveWire because I like it's flavor more. Letting people know about it on Instagram and Twitter could win me a NEW pickup truck, I say bring  it! I want one! Woohoo!

Vigan Vies For 7 Wonder Cities of the World

Sunday, July 06, 2014

One of the few places I've visited this year just became the talk of the town. Up north where there's a rustic, hispanic area and cobbled stone streets that probably spanned hundred or more years, the city of Vigan remains one of the few UNESCO world heritage sites that lives up to its name. The only place in Asia where a mix of Filipino and Spanish heritage exists, it truly is a sight to behold every time you get to see its streets and buildings that dates back to 16th century. I know, it ain't enough I guess, that just spells this city needs to be recognized... not just here, but worldwide!

Mayor Eva Marie Medina of the city of Vigan says "Being in the finals has added to our pride as residents of this small city with big dreams and hard earned achievements. Officials from Vigan are relentless in their continued efforts to make this city the “best” place. We hold on to our commitment to sustain our gains in heritage conservation and excellence in governance because these are the very instruments that ensure the well being of our people".

Vigan City has been included in the 28 finalists for 7 Wonder Cities of the world. There will be another round where only 21 will be left. Now is the time to vote for them as another national historic site takes the front seat. It's not only the places that can actually be the sole reason to see Vigan as one of the world's best. Just look at the things we've loved from this Ilocos city all these years!

From the crunchy Vigan Chichacorn, to pottery and small trinkets made from wood, to small mementos of the houses, to the weaved cloths and baskets, to Malunggay/Moringga pasta and cookies, to the famous Vigan longganisa that's so garlicky in every bite, to the super crunchy and sinful Bagnet... the city of Vigan has it all!

Now it's time for us to help them win this for the Philippines, how to vote? It's easy! Just go to www.n7w.com/en/cities and choose 7 entries, login with your social media accounts and it's a vote. Make sure though to always include VIGAN in your entries so they qualify for the next round. You can also vote by texting VIGAN to 29290777, it's that easy! VOTE NOW so you can get the city of VIGAN recognized as the world's best! It's VIGAN's time to shine!

Vote for the Philippines!

Wednesday, August 18, 2010

I guess these days we all have time to surf the Internet and based on the results we have some overwhelming response from people here and the other ones who live abroad. Some of them are expats and OFW's and I know you probably have one in your family that does work there. They all voted already so why shouldn't you do the same right?!

Clean and Clear

Photos courtesy of Ms Cecille of Chuvaness.com

It's that Clean and Clear product that Filipinos have been using for years... since it is available around the world, they are holding a search for top best friends/models for their product. Why the hell should we lose to some other country when obviously we look far better than the other competitors there. Mariel and Isa won the Philippine leg and if you think about it the other entries there from the Southeast Asian region, I don't think they stand a chance. You can vote once a day until September 13. I heard there are rumors that someone is doing "Lutong Macau" in that contest so let's overwhelm them with our online presence ok?! Vote for them by CLICKING HERE. Prizes are also up for grabs and are randomly chosen so vote now!

Miss Universe - Maria Venus Raj

This controversial lady we sent to the Miss Universe pageant is currently leading but we need to still keep voting and get her average above everyone else. I know you might have some bets but please register on their site, confirm your email and click Contestants > Venus Raj. Then choose 5 stars on the photo so we'll have her on the leaderboard okay? I know a lot of you are watching this event so why not do it for the Philippines right?!

Hurry and register now!

I Voted! =)

Monday, May 10, 2010

After 4 grueling hours staying in line grimacing in the hot scorching sun and the stench of poor people around me it was quite a relief I got to vote in less than 10 minutes.

Who did I vote?! Ahmmm I think it would be better to keep mum about it. I've got friends who did not vote for them so I'll keep my itchy fingers shut LOL. There is something that we call etiquette and I choose to still do that unlike other star bloggers that I know who went ahead and did bash some candidates unlike their own candidate how IRONIC.

Oh and if ever my readers from the province of ROMBLON is thinking of someone to vote for, I'd recommend Alykhan "BONBON Fernandez for councilor. He's a really good guy even when we were in high school and I'd vouch for him. You know when you have friends you can count on in times of trouble right?! He's just like that... and the guy breathes on spending his days serving his people... please vote for him! Thanks!

As for the other Senators who did not deserve my vote, please work on it. Even the one who got jailed after they held hostages in Oakwood is running for Senate, OMAYGAD what's wrong with this country! If that guy wins I'd probably run a campaign against him. How can a criminal run for a Senate seat?! That is just crazy!

Be Counted! Vote Now!

Lend me your ears and eyes if that maybe applicable in this entry. Tomorrow is election day where we all choose our President in this God forsaken country. Everyone in this world deserve a chance to change and so this Monday May 10 2010 go out and vote for your President, Vice President, 12 Senators, Congressman, Mayor, Vice Mayor and 6 Councilors. Your local and national government units need to be represented by the change you want to happen.

I am voting only a few Senators but I hope its worth it. I don't want to see those soldiers from the Oakwood Mutiny win. That would be just so wrong if they get a post in the government. That would be just the time to migrate and live elsewhere (probably out of this planet too) if they win.

TV stations are on 24 hour watch right now and they are covering elections in Metro Manila and all the other major provinces too. Some inserts indicate that there are remote areas that do not have ballot boxes yet. What makes me really be humiliated is the people watching from Finland stayed up late till the wee hours of the morning only to see that there are no ballot boxes on the precint that they randomly selected. That is just frustrating! But I hope people won't go nervous on the elections still, we need this more than they do.

I want to vote now... actually since I am going home already Id probably be going to the barangay hall and do some video blogging. I don't know where it will be done or if it is allowed but hey, I'll be on the line as soon as it opens! Can't wait!

Hate Them All!

Thursday, April 15, 2010

Okay. I'm saying sorry to my self for spending a thousand bucks again drinking out with buddies from other companies. I hate it when I work out and waste it gaining calories back again in just a single sitting. Beer plus fatty food is equal to diet's epic fail. I am not in the mood to go working out again tomorrow. I need a lot of things fixed.

I am going to finish my reports tomorrow so we can get that on line and screened. After that I'll try to see if I can bring clothes for gym, if I don't pack that up around 9:30PM I'll end up going home and get some sleep.

Darn political ads ringing in my ear, how can I get some sleep in the afternoon when it's hot outside and the darn hypnotic sounds of that creepy presidentiable plays on tv all the time! sheesh!

I wanna turn Resident Evil and kill those F@#*&^%#^ candidates!

Philippine Elections: I don't know who to vote!

Tuesday, February 09, 2010

Since election season is near and everybody else is in a scuffle to still try and get my vote as with the other undecided Filipinos, here I am to talk about Philippine elections on my site.

I know I haven't been the best citizen but hell I have been one knowledgeable hooligan when it comes to these affairs. But then again since I am undecided I'll tell you some pros and cons about who I am planning to vote for:

Noynoy Aquino - Mar Roxas

I don't know what he did, for me he is just riding on Kris and his parents legacy... for co sponsoring bills, well that is still not his work afaik... how could I vote someone I don't even know if he performs? If that were Belmonte then I would go with him a 100% but he is not that much visible, how would I or anyone know right? Mar Roxas on the other hand is okay, at least he did something as former cabinet secretary of DTI... as of now I am still undecided about the presidency.

Dick Gordon - Bayani Fernando

Both are performers, both have already proven themselves. But if my vote goes to them, would it be just a waste since they are not that popular?

Gibo Teodoro - Edu Manzano

Well it is hard to gauge someone I don't know. He looks straight forward and rich. I do not know if he did really do something in the AFP but boy he did not rid that agency of corruption. Manzano did great with OMB but will that be enough for a national post?! I don't know...

As for the other candidates, I guess they all are a big joke. Who do you think we should vote for huh?!

LAST WEEK BEFORE THE US ELECTIONS

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Last call for the last week!
The disgruntled faces seen here are from donkeydish.com ^_^

I and countless people around the world awaits Uncle Sam to decide who'll win in the up coming elections. The impact of votes by Americans will greatly affect the economical and political conditions around the globe. The issue over economy has been deliberated over and over again and I'm not discounting the fact that this is really a BIG thing to be concerned with... though there are other ones that should have been dealt with so these repercussion and preposterous results do not happen. Large percentages are already lost and they should have invested more time in business confidence rather than bailing out banks. I think people really didn't know how this started... but really because of a few greedy people (which comprised of board members of these banks) that had GIGANTIC amounts of bonuses and living "la vida loca" today, the whole economy of the US is at stake. They earned a lot but since the credit and lending became too volatile when they left it, a recession is about to occur. This is what is at the drawing table both on McCain and Obama's camps... if a miracle happened, then this would not be a problem anymore for millions who invested in the US economy.

Seems to me that Obama is leading. Last time I read the news, almost 8 states that were originally solid for Bush went to the side of Obama. This is a huge mistake on McCain for not maintaining these states where electorates were even high. I'm so sorry but I think Obama is gonna be the first black president. You can probably quote me on this a day before if the double digit lead doesn't change lolz! McCain still however has a week left to change these undecided votes to his camp.. but did you see the CNN debate where Obama still fared better among neutral voters at that time? Most probably, it won't be a showdown on the 4th of November. It would be a massacre!

DANCE IT OFF! ^_^
