Sorry I Said That, Smile!

I admit I made fun of some of my classmates when I was in high school because they wore full metal braces. Back then I did not realize that it was actually a good thing that they were doing it. Years after that, I saw their photos and the treatments obviously made their smiles improve. I felt sorry for doing that but it was actually the thing everyone was doing back then. I know I apologized a lot when I offended people and that was not an exception. I'm glad I was forgiven and now even my nephews and nieces are doing the same thing. Good thing there are advancements in technology that would spare this thing I did to people in the past. I looked at Invisalign Braces Austin and saw a whole new way of aligning teeth. It's quite convenient and affordable plus I won't see them in the same predicament as this one doesn't have those metal parts anymore. I saw people wearing it and it's like they are not wearing anything at all. What a wonderful thing they have invented huh?!

I hope someday there wouldn't be any prejudice against people braces because of this technology. I'm sure you know someone who still wears those metal ones, so please go ahead and inform them about this. You'll spare them a period of humiliation from mean people like me. Again, I'm so sorry I did those things in the past! I'll spread the news and tell my friends about it now.

Blackberry Firmware Updates + Extra Rice XD

I think it is time that I update my blackberry. According to the site the latest is the version v4.5.0.188; mine's currently at 4.50.0.37 which is clearly outdated. I wonder if I just install the OS altogether from globe it would update this automatically. I also saw that I would need around 45 minutes dedicated to do this firmware upgrade. I am quite familiar with routers and stuff not not the blackberry. I hope it isn't that much of a difference. It apparently will free up a whole megabyte of internal memory on the phone which will get me to a better state than now. I'm having problems on running 3 applications at the same time. Yes of course I'm abusing it hahaha!

Crackberry is really getting better at this. They released this multilanguage format and had some simple instructions to get this installed. The xml file would need to be just deleted after extraction and voila! I have new firmware. I'll tell you guys if it turns out funny or otherwise. I hope I don't have any hitches. I wish there was someway we could get the OS 5 and 6 installed too. The features would be cooler and we would probably end up being like the bold but not without the handy features of the curve which everyone in the US so love!

I also read something funny. A person dropped his blackberry in the sink accidentally. Of course it got wet. He took out the battery and got a new one on it after a few days. It still turned on, but had problems on the keypad and clicker for the trackball. Well, the suggestion was not to actually turn it on and just place it on rice for a few days. Yeah! Dried Rice! Apparently it sucks the moisture out. But you are going to still have that starchy smell that rice has afterwards ha-ha!

But it is a good tip huh?! There was this guy in youtube who had his blackberry dipped in water for a good 10 minutes. Did the same thing and voila! It still works! =)

Good thing I have a blackberry... and have rice at home LOL =)

I think I should get inked on this event on the 24th and 25th but I have yet to decide on what particular tattoo to get. Should I be worried?! I don't think so because people are probably going to be more supportive right?!

I got new contacts. No not my phonebook dimwit! Contact lenses. It's brown just the way I like it. It will enhance my meztizo looks naks! hahaha and probably get me a little bit closer to what I was thinking months ago. My friend still owes me money. He's supposed to pay me back but he got me these instead. I hope it ain't going to be troublesome to put on. I heard horror stories ye know?!

I want to watch XANADU the musical but I don't have the funds right now. Someone borrowed a hefty amount again and I practically was about to close one of my accounts because of that. Good thing its near pay day. I wanted to see how they sing SUDDENLY. Olivia Newton John was great in the movie even if that was a flop but the musical was a big hit in broadway. They probably will be doing the show on time and reviews say it is quite short with no intermission numbers. They should have at least provided one ye know?!

I'm hungry again but I don't want to eat rice. I already ate half the population of hotdogs in Manila and I won't settle for that again. I wonder what are my options today. I hope Jollibee won't mind me doing requests. I need softdrinks and lots of it! I get dehydrated from not drinking too much water. Apparently I don't like the taste of water... its bland and I need something with it like powdered juice thingys. When will I be just plain and simple?! That is a question I want answered hehehe!

I want a tuta... yeah puppies! But I don't like the fur that comes with it. I have asthma I think. Mom can't stand them too. I'm not on the verge of giving up but it looks like we're going to have to rethink how to get one. I need a puppy that doesn't eat much, I don't like high maintenance once since its already a pain I am one too! LOL

When can I get laid???... I think this weekend again! Hahaha=)

I'll be at DUTDUTAN X!

It looks like the 10th installment of DUTDUTAN will happen in the World Trade Center on the 24th and 25th of this month. Not to mention Franco is also performing in the event. I am contemplating on getting a tattoo for myself and I was thinking more of a phoenix since I love medieval things. I must have been a spell caster in my past life. It is something like this but if they can jazz it up and make it a little more complicated and tribal I'm all for it!

I actually already tested it out but it didn't really quite look like it. They had to manage and get it all over my biceps which was pretty big at that time. Well, actually I liked the one that they did better. It was all black and some shades of gray. It did cost a lot when it was inked but really to have this be done by professionals in DUTDUTAN and a certified Philtag member may actually make the difference. It probably would look better. My photography friends and I will probably be in the event and I'll try and get my blogger friends to come too. This will be a great subject to write about definitely and since some of them don't probably have a clue about the bikini competition that comes later in the day, I'm pretty sure they will enjoy that part hahah! Right Jepoy, Marvin and Glentot?! =)

I hope they come too. There will be some weirdos there I'm sure so I will pretty much belong to the event. I hope no one stinks though!

My Views on Proper Management through Social Media

Companies in the US know the value of Social Media and its networks. I have yet to see a local one venture into that. To me it is all still in its infancy stage and has never been used into boosting markets and strategy. This is one important sector of media that may have been underestimated by various corporate marketing arms; some of them though have touched its grounds and seem to be enjoying major changes in the model of local social media handling. I can name a few who may have similarities but pioneers like Austin PPC Management should probably be taken serious consideration.

If you have an expert on the table with experience on the matter then you won't have to waste money on experimentation. Timing is in fact essential on this particular segment and seeing the norms and conditions of today's markets, if you waste hours and effort selling off through untested words and links then you wouldn't be able to grasp getting presence on the Internet. I was trying my best not to talk about the hostage crisis but the news this evening was full of them. Funny thing is, they emphasize on the things like inability of police to do their jobs, loss of guidelines, handbook and stuff like that. Heads will roll but there seems to be no major culprit; on who's head is gonna roll once the investigation ends. Can they fire Lim? the policemen? They also almost died you know. That and the tools they need were not there, how can they in the end blame themselves?!

Just saw from a friend's status... the name Bob Ross. He was the inspirational painter I used to watch in Channel 9 when I was a kid. He was the host and main attraction in "The Joy of Painting". I know how geeky that sounds but hey, I learned how to do proper painting of a tree when he did it on TV in the late 80's. Right Zai?! Haha!

I don't like textmates, they kinda give me the creeps. Cringe! I find ladies in clubs and bars but never initiate text messages for romance. Should I learn to do that?! Heheh. Nah, I think its really not my cup of tea.

I think I love Mitch Dulce's blog. Makes me want to go to London. Spend the time with Reading Festivals and stuff like that. Very fashion forward too! I need to learn a thing or two about that since I am into Fashion photography. I'm thinkin about a collection too that I need to take shots of. Can I get into a runway show soon?! Puhleeease!!!!

This evening I had a friend who asked me for a favor. He needs money to get his business running again. I am a little hesitant because if he is going to do this with my money and not give me any collateral I probably am at a losing end. I am not quite sure if he is going to be able to pay me back but he is getting the whole computer shop business part given to me for this favor. I gladly said yes but just told him to pay me back. I didn't want to do be an extra burden to his hardships and make matters worse. I want to give him lee way to at least try and give this a chance. I didn't have the money off hand and I wish there was a chance that I could borrow from premier institutions like http://www.soeasyloans.com so I could get them at least a thousand dollars. I would be able to give the money back once my pay day arrives. Wouldn't that be a nice solution to this abrupt need for it?! I'll definitely look into that!

All I want today is get him all the help he can get and if he tries one more time to revive his business then I'll be a part of his success. I think a pay day loan is what I'll get but I have to make sure I would be able to pay them back when the time comes. I'll call the office accounting department for this one so I could at least get an idea how much I can lend him ASAP. I felt I was hungry today. But I'm not. I tried to go to gym with my busy schedule, but the darn maid did not iron my gym clothes. I couldn't find them anywhere either. I drank a lot of milk to get me some sleep, I did get some sleep but still had a headache when I woke up. Something is wrong with me but I refuse to go to the hospital. I already did take some meds but I don't know if it is effective. Who cares!

I did go out this weekend, met a couple of bloggers... but went out again that night thinking I could score with someone at the Fort. But.... I think I did haha!

I'm contemplating on doing Muay Thai on weekends or whatever schedule fits... but I barely have time for sleep do I really have to do it?! I hate my freakin stomach area... It'll really be a big help if I did that! I don't think I've ever had abs... LOL

I ordered Jollibee again, a whole Jolly Hotdog Meal.... but I wasn't hungry. I was just thirsty. Now its just sitting here in my table. Any takers?! =)

I hate the van, it consumes waaay to much diesel and makes me pay a thousand pesos a week. If I took a cab it would only cost me around 700. It's really a crazy world, I wanna just not use the van anymore and get a cheaper car that does a couple of liters of gasoline. Where is Hybrid when you need it!

Well, looks like I'm taking lots of chances with life now. I hope it ain't something I'm going to be sorry about pretty soon. If all else fails, I'll jump ship and turn to work related stuff, after all that is the single thing that makes me forget about the troubles in life.

I need a drink, and get drunk every once in a while without the headache! Can that be arranged?!

Need to fix it!

It's raining again on this side of the world and I'm really afraid one day that I would need to shell out a couple of hundred dollars just for the roof. This is 180 square meter home and if I calculate that with the cost per GI sheet here it will be so expensive. I wonder where I could get a reasonably priced deal. The contractor is bugging me to get it replaced instead of just putting in gray putty to temporarily solve the problem. The wood is already rotting and things are getting wet even inside the house and bathroom. I wish there was a way I could get Austin Metal Roofing over my house so I wouldn't have to worry about it so much. Every time there is a storm or typhoon, Mom gets us to pray over it so it wouldn't fly away. That will be a nightmare and I hope it doesn't happen anytime soon.

There was an instance that happened and all the cabinet and China Mom had been affected so this is seriously going to be hard for us just to stay and do nothing. Maybe if I get my hands on that loan I'm eying for I would get this to be a priority. I would need to also replace a couple of dry walls and keep them dry literally. I'm no expert carpenter but I know what I need at home when the going gets tough. I would like to get more of this problem resolved soon. The last thing I want is to get everyone else worried about our home. It's the only one I have too!
