VERONICA TAYLOR, JASON PAIGE Headline POKEVERSE Event in Manila!

POKEVERSE, the premiere Pokemon themed event organized by fans for fans is happening today at SM Megamall Megatrade Hall in Mandaluyong City. Yesterday, we were able to interview Ms. Veronica Taylor, the original voice actor who did Ash Ketchum in the Pokemon series and Jason Paige, the awesome guy who sang the original Pokemon theme song. They're here for a meet and greet, so you could fulfill your Pokemon dreams from May 31 to June 2 (yes, this whole weekend!). 

Veronica was so nice, she was very accommodating and told us the story of how she was able to land that voice acting gig for Pokemon. Jason too was very friendly. I thought they would feel the welcome we Filipinos are known for, but I guess they do it excellently too. They didn't think this was going to be this big, it was work for them but eventually, they felt the cult following right after the first season. 

This brought them opportunities beyond their wildest dreams, to begin visiting different countries and expo's, their schedules filled up in no time.

There will be several events happening inside the venue, something they prepared for those who grew up with the game, your kids, even the parents who would be accompanying the little ones for the event. Discounts will also be given to selected cosplayers, but it will be very limited. It is highly encouraged for you to wear something Pokemon themed of course. I'd want to come as Snorlax but perhaps my trainer uniform would suffice, I've seen their merch and those caps would be a good thing to take home. (some are actually limited edition too for VIP's, make sure you catch them all!).

Marites Allen: Letting it Be, Letting it Go in the Year of Wood Dragon

It's almost 2024, and yes, we're raring to know what would happen to us in the Year of the Wood Dragon. In Chinese Zodiac, Dragons have the innate ability to lead, yes they are born leadeers. If you're raring to get a kid these days, this is the opportune time to do it. Dragons are also diplomatic, but they can be very funny if needed too. They have the ability to do good in business, they also don't hold back giving, the generous ones get the perks.The Queen of Feng Shui Ms. Marites Allen gave us a few things to look forward to in the Year of the Wood Dragon.

The essentials of course are all in the Almanac and Planner that they have available for 2024. It's a collectible, hopefully will have value in the near future. They also announced the Feng Shui Conference on January 14, 2024. There will also be a Chinese New Year Bazaar on February 7-9 plus more activities on February 9 as we countdown to the Year of the Wood Dragon. Dogs need to be careful especially in relationships, while Monkey Dragon and Roosters need Communication for the year but before that, make sure you do something for yourself. Risk taking and technology based businesses will be better for you. Rats on the other hand need to enhance their wealth, go get charms that would be able to help you with that. Tigers have to be open to receive abundance and miracles for the same year. For the Rabbits, this is a year of transformation so go change up when you desire it. Snakes need to be careful as illness might come. Monkeys have vibrant energy to spend, so does the Roosters. Dogs need to also change up, like jobs, looks and even your bedrooms. Horses might have a great year of wealth last year, but this year you need to enhance it. Other details will be on the books they will release for this year.

 

 Her son Kirk Allen also introduced us to an AR feature on these books. You can scan it with the Marites Allen app and an egg will appear. It's like Pokemon, and will crack on Chinese New Year, so I'm looking forward to what it'll look like on February. It's been a while since we've seen Ms. Marites Allen in person. She's been to the UK and different parts of the globe to share her knowledge in Feng Shui and this time, she's doing quite differently. Donned in a Rabbit Cape ensemble  made by Dexter Alazas (inspired by Marites Allen's Golden Zodiac), she shared how we all could take advantage of the Year of the Water Rabbit this 2023.

 

What's up with the coming Year of the Water Rabbit this 2023? 

Ms. Marites Allen chimes in on what you could look forward to if you're an avid fan of Feng Shui. 2020 was a year of new beginnings. 2021 was the year of vaccinations, 2022 was a year of breakups while this year is about "Letting Go!" She adds "The rabbit needs to be careful because of the illness star. In 2023, if you are boar, dog, a father, you will be a little challenged this year until 2024. The next 20 years will be more for women. We cannot just rely on Feng Shui, we need to work hard to make sure things are good for us. We will be an online event on December 17 and 18. MARITES ALLEN Does the Lowdown on Year of the Water Tiger

Spent a few hours at the Marites Allen 2022 Feng Shui Forecast livestream last December 26 and 27. A lot of feng shui aficionados, followers from the Philippines and around the world joined in the fun online, the second instance this happened because of the pandemic. Ms.Marites Allen and her crew shot it all entirely in London, entitled “Roar with Confidence in the Year of the Water Tiger”.

It's been 60 years since the last Water Tiger year happened and during the event, Ms. Allen took time explaining lucky directions for home, the workplace and what to do if you are of a specific zodiac sign this 2022. Marites Allen: Thrive in 2021 Year of the Metal OX

We just got off the online preview of Marites Allen's Feng Shui Webinar which is going to happen this December 19th 2020. This is going to all happen online and will start around 9AM London (5PM Philippine Time).

A couple of us actually asked her about what happened during the last few months because the pandemic was obviously not foreseen, but she immediately dispelled it by facts saying "We didn't see the pandemic coming, we are not fortune tellers, we are Feng Shui masters. It could have been prevented by man in the beginning (makes total sense!)."

She further shared what the Year of the Metal Ox meant for all of us this 2021 and said "There was really a lot of people who didn't do well during the pandemic. This year, metal elements, earth elements is good, the optimism is a little absent. There will be doubts, not much trust, so people should save up and spend on things that matter. Economic structure is shaky, third quarter will show a little improvement but next year is a year of vaccination. It will take a lot of time to process and do things, but with the Filipino attitude, we will always get along no matter how far this pandemic will take."

About detractors she said "Honestly, I am too busy to worry about people who doubt feng shui. I am quite connected with my clients, the expertise of Feng Shui matters only means that we're not fortune tellers. If they doubt, it doesn't really matter to me."

She further shared optimism by saying "It's gonna be a while before people would trust traveling, or get back to normal. In the course of history, we have had pandemics, people die and suffered, but a lot survived. Nothing is new, it is just how people live with it. We all were never prepared for this even billionaires didn't see a magnitude like this. The lock-down in London isn't that strict, it's how people use their time. There is still so much opportunity in 2021."

For Earth Horses like me, she bids these good news and said "It is good news for 2021, you have the victory star.  You really have to change if you get in that condition. Those who are the year of the sheep are going to have to work double time this year."

Feng Shui Convention for Year of the Earth Boar with Ms. Marites Allen

The year of the BOAR is all about Balance, Opportunity, Abundance and Rewards. When Queen of Feng Shui Marites Allen did her annual Feng Shui Convention at fabulous Conrad Manila, I was a little iffy because in the past year, I have some of the most unreal things happen in my life that has been consistent on the Marites Allen app which I dowloaded on Google Play or iOS. Scary even and I’m not joking. I am not going into details about that but I’ll tell you about this event instead.

Marites begins telling us about our Annual Feng Shui start ahead of everyone else. Apparently she’s not immune to bad luck when a frame fell on her while she was doing business in the toilet. She got rushed to the hospital and got surgery for a broken nose. It was on the southwest and she’s doing this event also on a conflict day in the month of the BOAR. She has her charms now, and during that ordeal she didn’t panic, she kept thinking this happened with reason and it is time to change things at home. She gave us strog advise about our Astrology “Secret Friends” and Enemies. She also told us about how to stay away from robbery, illness, arguments and misfortune. She also added about windfalls, wealth centers, victory directions, prosperity, romance and travel too so we can take advantage of it and put countermeasures if all else seems impossible. 

She has a line in Frigga like shawls and clothes which can do that including charms, figures that can help too.

If you’ve figured out your chart reads, you should never just toy around with the idea that it will not happen to you, because last year I just brushed some off but when it happened I felt it was just scary. Though I heard through this conference, they have plans to digitize some of the processes they have implimented, so data would be easier to understand especially if you can't follow much of the terminology they use.

In a way, you always have your free will and you can use it. If this makes all your luck come, I would advise you get as much help as you can get. Marites Allen gives you the 411 as far as Feng Shui is concerned, you just need to use it to your advantage.

Marites Allen Updates for 2015: Year of the Sheep

We attended the convention of Marites Allen at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City. As I'm writing this outside the veranda, the place is packed with fortune and Feng Shui enthusiasts from around Metro Manila. I couldn't even get a seat literally because of that. 

Generally, 2015 is seen to be very nice. More so if you are born in the right hour, day, month and year and complement the element and animal sign that's bound to be lucky. 

As for relationships, although it's going to be elusive for me this year - I don't really mind. I can also do things to suppress it by using charms and enhance other things that I'm lucky with according to the charts. Feng Shui is basically how you can make your environment work for you. We just have to be guided by it but we still control our destiny. There's nothing wrong following simple rules to become ultimately happy right?

For those who would love to do something about their house and follow the flow, the East is where the Sun rises but you can follow a simple gradient so you can subdivide the section of your house into the directions where you need to take action. Illness on the Southeast, Robbery in the South, Hostile people in the Center (do not put wood or water in that area), and some unluckiness in the West (throw out old charms that absorbed much bad elements already and get new ones to supress it). 

People here take matters of their fortune seriously. They know how much Ms. Marites Allen offer only the most practical advises even though it all looks so luxurious here. Her new line for Frigga not only have pieces that look so gorgeous on women - but brings an added bonus of luck by getting all the auspicious symbols in it. So when you lack one or more things in your animal sign, it'll get you all the help you need. 2015 Feng Shui Updates from Marites Allen

Ms. Marites Allen, an international Feng Shui expert.

I've never met her in person. I think I've seen her once or twice on TV giving advice to one or more celebrities and telling them about their fortune for the coming year. She also gets to tell them if it's going to be good or bad during that same period. Honestly, I'm a skeptic. I don't believe much in mumbo jumbo. I went inside the hotel to practically see her saying hi to everyone coming in. We exchanged pleasantries, then I went in. I figured I could take time to listen and see how this fares later on.

Aside from her gorgeous green outfit, she was clad in various crystals, charms, jade rings and bracelets. She also had this multiple infinity pendant worn for prosperity. Now I know you must be skeptic too, but think about it. This thing has existed for centuries already, if there weren't any truth to it then it would have been gone a long time ago. They might be telling our fortunes and all but they always say that it's up to us to make our own fortune. This year in fact, she says will be auspicious one because she's seen almost all the elements represented in the destiny chart. It would have been unlucky for some, but she says they always have options. They've got charms to at least help those that would be in the same predicament to at least stay afloat with their life and personal journeys.
