A few weeks ago, I was seeing weird videos being shared on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter made from an app called TIKTOK on iOS and Google Play. It’s a tiny short video platform which is already popular in other countries and is taking the Philippines by storm. What better way to write about this that to actually experience it myself (YOU CAN ADD MY TIKTOK ID KUMAGCOW) because really, this is a whole lotta fun!

Mind you this breaks the norm as you can now perform with your favorite artists (local and international) because Baninay, Awra, Pamela Swing and lovely Korean/KPOP artists are all here on the platform. That only means you can do the #DuetWithMe challenge wherein you can sing or perform with them in split screen modes and edit the audio, video, its filters right on the app itself without any hitches.

Now if I were you, I’d start early and add myself to the thousands of users in TIKTOK Philippines because I felt that I was already late when I joined, adding KUMAGCOW on your friends list and watching/liking my videos there too would be nice hahaha!

When Manny Pangilinan made this statement last September 24, 2014, we all thought it was going to be about the FIBA Hosting. When I arrived at the venue, there were rumors that it was about a company merger. Then when I sat down, the person sitting beside me told us the announcement was about their plans to take over Philippine Airlines. All of these were BIG news, but I wasn't prepared for what was going to happen that afternoon... his announcement, was about FREE INTERNET for all SMART, Talk N  Text and SUN subscribers!

Now I also asked myself what benefit would this do to Smart's 66 Million subscribers, they said that only around 20 percent use mobile internet data connection so the deal is to make this a part of their daily lives. They will make them try the service for FREE until November 30. Don't ever be afraid if your a postpaid subscriber because no matter how the prepaid subscribers use this, they'll still be able to accommodate it. Their network has been long ready for the capacity since they have steadfastly worked on its structure in the past few years.

Chairman Manny Pangilinan said "There are already a lot of people using smartphones but never had the chance of using data services, so what better way to get them a taste of it but by giving it for free. It's a way to what we say in Smart, Live More!".

You need to have at least one peso on your balance or subscribed to any of their promos in order to get connected. You can register now by texting the word FREE to 9999. You'll get a text confirmation and have around 30MB of free data for daily use. You have to remember though that peer to peer uploads and downloads, videos, VOIP and messaging would get you to have standard data charges on your prepaid account. Smart Infinity Brings CHICAGO "The Musical" in Manila

When I heard the news that a world class show was in town, I had to get my hands on the keyboard and had to tell you this. If you loved the film adaptation last 2002 (which would probably make you feel a little old seeing that year) and adore the stories of Roxie Hart (played by Renee Zellweger) and Velma Kelly (played by the timeless Catherine Zeta Jones), then you are in for a treat an all star American cast will be performing here in the Philippines come December. How NOT To Miss The NBA Finals

In a land composed of 7,107 islands, 96.1 Million people and streets lined up with basketball courts in almost every street corner, I guess the world has taken notice that the Philippines is also crazy about the NBA Finals. In my timeline alone, I've seen friends place bets, boyfriends and girlfriends take sides and siblings not talking anymore on the dinner table. Two things, you are either a Spurs fan (like me)... or for Miami Heat (who we think is going to lose Game 3 *insert your sad face here*). Not everyone gets to watch the games because it is streamed live in the morning. It also happens right when everybody is already at work. Ha!

You won't be able to concentrate on what you're doing. Since the standing is already 1-1, the games 3 & 4 is happening in Miami and you still have no idea if Kahwi Leonard and Chris Bosh will step up the plate or improve their free throw shots, you just have to know who will win game number 3. Well lo and behold since it's a work day... so you can't file your hard earned leave credits just for that plus imagine the pile of documents that'll end up on your table the next day. Well, how about if I tell you there's actually a way to watch the FINALS... LIVE, ON DEMAND and in HD? Here's how...

It's going to be a tough one for the Spurs since the Miami Heat hasn't lost a single game in their turf. The home court advantage is there but remember, the Spurs already did beat them in Game 1. The testosterone levels are creeping in. If you missed the next few games, you won't be sad because you can always watch it on HD without even using your credit cards. The Smart Move Launch!

I'm a Gl*be subscriber and if you are following @kumagcow on Twitter lately you know how much I've kinda resented doing it. Getting my iPhone5 was a pain, I've got calls dropped, texts that are delayed... what more could I tell you, chances are you are experiencing it too first hand. I envy my friends who already made the SMART MOVE and are enjoying LTE signals in various places around Metro Manila. I on the other hand am locked up until my plan expires and I'm so itching to make the switch.
