Where Is Arroyo?!

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

Are you wondering where President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is?! She's in Washington apparently and attended the Nuclear Security Summit. The United States and Russia are cutting down on weapons and this is something like the first step to further eliminate the need to use it for weaponry. Their goal is to rid the world of these weapons totally, I just wish they really are doing it in their own country.

What if the others did really did not keep their weapons and only a few only have it?! Are we going to suffer if a world war erupts?! Countries like ours that do not have atomic weapons are at shooting range anytime of the day. We will probably be one of the few targets in the Pacific Ocean because we are strategically located near all the other countries. I hope there was some way we could make one ourselves. Or maybe home grown missiles from garlic or cow dung and manufactured somewhere in Bocaue, Bulacan. That would be really nice to see since we are still gonna save the earth, we are organic ha-ha!

So?! How's the weather down there?!

Good, Easy Pay Day Loans for the Public

Thursday, March 26, 2009

The US President went to the Senate Democratic Caucus meeting to sell his 2010 budget proposal, on the photo is Democratic Sen. Kent Conrad.
(Photo by Melina Mara/ THE WASHINGTON POST)

The worst is not yet over. This has been a very busy week for the US President because the democrats continue to fight the economic stimulus plan that he tried to lobby in the Senate. Apparently, his own boys are doing some major word wars in the house that is causing delays for this law to be passed. He however is not surprised but more worried that if it took too long to get this onto his table and sign it, the whole plan would collapse and cause more problems bigger than before.

Republicans are also capitalizing media mileage from the anger the public has been putting on the insurance giant AIG. They even had their signage taken down in the front of their building because they were too embarrassed for continuing with the Executive Bonuses in spite of public outrage and cries for them to return it. The common workers in the US paid for their taxes and the stimulus package plan that was supposed to go to the corporations under trouble was paying its Directors and CEO's millions of dollars. Imagine how people feel now when some of them could not even afford 3 meals a day.

They lived thru huge credits and paycheck to paycheck these days because they are the ones affected by the unethical actions of these private entities. The US President even asked some of them to return half of these bonuses and some even returned it because their names are already surfacing and they do not want to be put on the stake as the one who got paid these huge amounts. Good thing there are Easy Pay Day Loans that provide immediate and fast cash to these economically crippled individuals so they can still take care of their families. Without it, a large sector of the citizenry would have depended on the government for assistance. The private sector also chipped in to help with short term loans. They are nationwide since they are online, so go and check them out at http://www.paydayloansmania.com. Even without credit checks they can provide these easy to get pay day loans when you need it most.

Obama Cares about Veterans

Thursday, February 19, 2009

Tuwang tuwa ah.. hehe joke!
The processing of claims for Filipino veterans are being fast tracked by the US government and are being given priority so things like benefits would be given what's due them. US Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie Kenney promised this after US President Barack Obama signed the awaited 'economic stimulus package' where the Veterans Equity Bill is also included. Kenney assured transparency in these claims so only legitimate Philippine veterans would only be given their compensation.

She was also saddened that there are a lot of World War II Veterans that already died and never got the opportunity to receive their benefits. She added that she knows how this feels for their loved ones because her father was also part of the army who passed away four years ago. A pretty heartfelt gesture for the US ambassador. I like her a lot.

Stimulus Package May Pass Senate Soon -OBAMA

Tuesday, February 10, 2009

There will be no stopping on my plans!

Washington will be spearheading this campaign in the Senate for the planned bailout package. The amount will provide a stimulus in the US economy but the Senate version has revamped and gave the private investors a bigger role than the usual. Aside from that, the US had the 838 Billion Dollar stimulus plan already lined up for Senate approval by Monday next week. Hopefully they will be getting more supporters as they lobby for it there. I wish Obama and his economic team to make sure this will be given the actual effect as they have promised. Pretty soon they will be testing the waters if this is successful or not then have another set of packages re written for a bigger crisis than this so called full blown one.

The US Treasury department on the other hand will be spending the other half of the stimulus package that was done by the past administration of Bush. This was the 700 Billion dollars, so half of that would be 350 right? Where did it actually go? Is that why some of the companies are still staying afloat? Some of them apparently are cutting off 10,000 jobs like in the auto making industry. If something good has been seen with this economic turmoil, its the gas prices which apparently has been at an all time low. Good thing that happened or otherwise if the oil was expensive then it would be doubly hard right?

I just wish something good is going to happen in our country someday soon.

OPRAH for Senator of Illinois

Tuesday, January 27, 2009

He said he knew Oprah wouldn't accept it!

It's quite surprising that this came in the news today. I just watched the Oprah show and the "valentine" episode (obviously a re run of some other year) and was kinda smiling about some of the surprises she's been giving the guests, one of which was an appearance by Patty La Belle and giving away a Red Volkswagen Beetle... it was cute but what puzzled me was this statement by the ill fated Gov. Rod Blagojevich that she ought to be the Senator of Illinois.... yeah you heard it, she could have been Senator Oprah Winfrey. ^_^

She helped a lot in the recent election obviously because she campaigned for the one and only US President Obama... well I bet yah she could not have accepted the senate seat... that's just too low profile hahaha... She could run for President for crying out loud... that's just too obvious... but really, politics is just going to tarnish her career and name. One of which she's probably taking care of in the years she's been in the business.

Barrack Obama : 44th President of the United States

Wednesday, January 21, 2009

Barrack Obama was sworn-in as the 44th President of the United States and the first African-American to lead the nation this historic Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009.

I’ve been watching CNN the whole day and installing CABAL on my laptop and deprived my self of sleep because I wanted to be able to watch history unfold in the United States of America. If floating cars and space ships are around in the future, at least I’d be able to tell my kids that I watched him got sworn into office my millions of people in Washington thru a box called TV hehehe…that will be a little bit weird.

Yeah, about 2 million people flocked to Washington and look at how much walked in the cold wintery streets. The temperature went into negative figures this day also. I bet yah it was all sooooo cold!

It’s about 2am here when he finished his speech; maybe I’ll get his speech embedded here sometime soon. Goodluck Mr. President!

Obama's Bailout Package

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

The President Elect is working already! ^_^

W
hile I was running my usual kilometers in the treadmill, I heard over CNN that Democratic Sen. Max Baucus of Montana, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee; hopes to schedule a vote for the stimulus package which would coincide with the week of the US President Elect’s inauguration in about two weeks. This is a nice way of putting public perception and publicity together in one package. It’s definitely a nice way to start the year with this historic President. The President elect will be talking some more over the resistance he is getting from his own Democrats in the senate because he surprisingly is getting “the treatment” from his own senators.

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said that a bigger planned stimulus package is being sought by President-elect Barack Obama and it could give the economy the much-needed lift, but other steps must be taken to strenghen the shaky financial system and for any recovery to be seen. I just hope they do this the soonest possible time.

We all know that he also plans to put tax cuts for workers but in these tough times people don't respond all that well to little changes because a $500 to $1000 dollars in the middle class is still too low. I wonder how it would really be of benefit to those who are still in debt. A lot of them can’t pay their house mortgages and have probably moved to a lesser expensive home. Some of them becoming homeless because aside from the higher rates they received, they lose their jobs. Banks that were supposed to bail them out in the first place caused all these problems. I don’t even know if the $3,000 tax credit for companies to hire or retrain workers is going to help that much because of the US’ lack of purchasing power these days. Sales have significantly also dropped last December which further strains their plans to recover soon.

Debt Consolidation is a Smart Choice

Friday, January 09, 2009

Democrats said that they’d rather spend the money on the infrastructure, on direct investment, on energy conversion, on other kinds of things that much more directly, much more rapidly and much more certainly create a real job than to put tax cuts for everybody to enjoy. That in my opinion should be started selective and when their turn comes to a point that they already are within their means, then it should resume. The US Economy has got to show they know how to pay for their national loans too specifically because big bulks of their funds come from China and some countries in the EU.

His planned tax provision would provide a $500 tax cut for most middle class workers. There would be a $1,000 rate for couples too. This would cost the government an additional $140 billion to $150 billion over two years and over the $10.2 Trillion that will be passed on future generations of Americans. They plan to get these reliefs to worker’s paychecks directly which would make it more felt in their sector. Debt from government and medical bills were not discussed because his approach was more “General” in nature. He did not want to go into specifics at all because he knows both houses would meddle with plans in the economy. An answer to some of the common problems in debt would be consolidation so that people would end up paying for a single interest rate rather than paying different companies with higher ones. This is where http://www.budgetplanners.net can help immensely. They will readily provide information how to save your every penny through means on how to consolidate debt. The recession will surely never cease to exist this year but in order to survive; we have to make smarter choices. I just got my own lecture about it in their website, isn’t it time to have yours?

Hillary Clinton is the next Secretary of State! ^_^

Sunday, November 30, 2008

How bout a round of applause! Standing Ovation! Oohwoohhooooh yeah! It ain't Rihanna but it's Hillary for the Secretary of State on Monday!

State Secretary Condoleeza Rice is not the only female that is going to be running the White house. Sources from the transition team of Barack Obama is not only going to be supported in the campaign by Hillary Clinton, she is also going to be the next Secretary of state!

Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, they are getting Hillary to perform this daunting task as state secretary. She will be the one tasked to go to other countries to represent the US. This is the highest she can go and I really know she can do international affairs. Who are we to undermine her performance as first lady right?

Now, it would be just funny that Bill would have more time alone...hahaha!

President-Elect Barack Obama in Chicago's Speech

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

It's been a few days since Barack Obama was hailed the President Elect of the US. I was listening to this morning's news and it was all about how he went in and around the Whitehouse. This is the first time an African American President has set foot in the Oval office. They had photo opportunities in the Southern Lawn of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

US President Barack Obama : YES WE CAN!

President Barack Obama and Vice President elect Joe Biden
Photos by AP and CNN

See the blue states here that went all the way for President Barack Obama in the elections, no wonder he overwhelmingly won the elections! I was a skeptic this morning because when I was running on my treadmill, there were about 3 states being counted and it was showing McCain on the lead. I together with about 6 CNN anchors were asking "we never saw it this close". Then again, when I went home and had my bowl of oatmeal the results from other states came in and NEVER did I see McCain lead again. The CNN reporters even did analyze known Republican states were swinging to Obama at that time.

Since he already passed 270 (the magic number you need to win) they went ahead and celebrated in Chicago. There were about 125,00 supporters that frolicked a slightly cold evening in the windy city. Even Rev. Jessie Jackson was there to celebrate. Though the mood was ecstatic, when the speech came... it looked like Obama was calming everyone down instead of celebrating... I thought about that too... peoples expectations might have been a little too high. They need everyone's help in working for that "CHANGE" he promised in day 1 of his campaigns. I just wished he also mentioned Asia... I never heard him mention it in any of his speeches... to think he's even from Indonesia you know?! and btw, his middle name is Hussein I think... =/

Obama wins by a large margin, he only needed 270 to win but it looks like a whopping 338 here! ^_^ He is the first African American President of the United States of America

It's JUDGEMENT DAY! The US Elections 2008

Tuesday, November 04, 2008

Obama votes early (an hour and a half ago while I was making this post) and we all hope he gets the worm Lol

Today is the US elections where everyone is watching who will win the seat for the most big boned influential country in the world. I am still rooting for Obama, but McCain was pushing for an upset when I watched his political campaigns yesterday in CNN. Yeah I know I was busy trying to get some sleep because I had about 5 hours only that day. I still managed to get on the tube and listen to their last strategies on states that are undecided. McCain went for those states but Obama on the other hand went onto those that are known republican territories. A new strategy huh?!

Not only that, Obama was tired I think and called that place a different one... I guess fatigue and traveling different counties in the last 48 hours have caught up to him. I hope after he votes today he just sits back at home and relax, then just wait for the results which would probably be counted in a few hours.

By the way, there are some that say Obama should have gone to the funeral of Jennifer Hudson's family. Yeah she's from the same City that Obama resides, tough they probably have understood the campaign is at its end and I mean why should he go there if Oprah and the rest of Hollywood already are there. Early data already indicates Obama winning but there are some undecided states they still have to battle for. You need 270 to win the election and I suppose every poll say Obama has the upper hand. Here's a non official forecast:

I'm sure if he had the chance he would have come. Goodluck in Florida! ^_^

Your New US President : Barack Obama

Monday, November 03, 2008

You maybe looking at the future US First Family. Obama, wife and Kids. Photo by Associated Press.

I know I maybe pre-empting you guys for this Tuesday's elections but so far, the numbers all point to one candidate. Barack Obama may well be the President of the United States of America.

Look at that crowd! O_O

With countless funds going in on his campaign, he even got a 30 minute commercial loaded on almost all TV stations in prime time explaining his agenda for the government. He mentioned to even unite with McCain on some issues when the election announces him as a winner. He would be declared then also as the first Black President in history.

His campaign at this end ran on states that are well known to be Republican since the 1964 election and even there e is still winning the numbers. That though is bad news for McCain as he tries to maintain these Republican states but even these are being converted to his side 2days before the election. Now look what will happen in Tuesday as Americans decide who'll lead them to CHANGE that they need.

LAST WEEK BEFORE THE US ELECTIONS

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Last call for the last week!
The disgruntled faces seen here are from donkeydish.com ^_^

I and countless people around the world awaits Uncle Sam to decide who'll win in the up coming elections. The impact of votes by Americans will greatly affect the economical and political conditions around the globe. The issue over economy has been deliberated over and over again and I'm not discounting the fact that this is really a BIG thing to be concerned with... though there are other ones that should have been dealt with so these repercussion and preposterous results do not happen. Large percentages are already lost and they should have invested more time in business confidence rather than bailing out banks. I think people really didn't know how this started... but really because of a few greedy people (which comprised of board members of these banks) that had GIGANTIC amounts of bonuses and living "la vida loca" today, the whole economy of the US is at stake. They earned a lot but since the credit and lending became too volatile when they left it, a recession is about to occur. This is what is at the drawing table both on McCain and Obama's camps... if a miracle happened, then this would not be a problem anymore for millions who invested in the US economy.

Seems to me that Obama is leading. Last time I read the news, almost 8 states that were originally solid for Bush went to the side of Obama. This is a huge mistake on McCain for not maintaining these states where electorates were even high. I'm so sorry but I think Obama is gonna be the first black president. You can probably quote me on this a day before if the double digit lead doesn't change lolz! McCain still however has a week left to change these undecided votes to his camp.. but did you see the CNN debate where Obama still fared better among neutral voters at that time? Most probably, it won't be a showdown on the 4th of November. It would be a massacre!

DANCE IT OFF! ^_^
