The Messy Garage

I hate seeing the tools around the garage. They all have their own toolbox but apparently they are not being used because somebody forgot to return it. It’s either that or Dad's having a hard time picking up his stuff. I think its time to organize his things so it would look neat.

Baron Geisler Enters NOT GUILTY Plea

Baron was just a kid when I last met him. That was a party years ago of a common friend. It was his Ang TV days I think so he was kinda "the fat kid" then. I was doing the debut of a good high school friend and she was with Baron's brother if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, that was a long time ago and a long shot from what he's doing right now. A lot of things happened like PBB and the cigarette and alcohol addiction... a few rumors of drug use... and his house burning to the ground. Today, its his word versus the daughter of William Martinez and Yayo Aguila. He's charged formally now with Acts of Lasciviousness and is punishable of getting jailed for a few years I think. This was because apparently there was an incident where he touched the young ladies' bumpers. I hate to say the B word hehe.

Well according to news reports he just entered a NOT GUILTY plea before the Makati City Metropolitan Trial Court. Now I don't know who's telling the truth but as long as the girl in the story was offended and felt abused then I guess its her right to defend herself right? I hope if he's guilty then he be put to jail but if he's not then I hope they all move on with their lives.

Stop Unwanted Calls

I like many of you receive numerous calls from telemarketers who hound us every single day when we least expect it. I received a call from somebody one day when I got home from work. I was tired and almost fell asleep then I hurriedly went to the phone because they said someone was looking for me. When i answered it, lo and behold it was just the pizza company asking if I would purchase their latest. I almost did burst into madness; imagine the rest, quiet and peace I could have gotten if they did not call. I already asked them countless times to take me off their list but they continue to call me at times when I should be resting already. Oh boy I was really in for a nightmare.

I even called their branch manager to attention but they never stopped. I would now have to talk to them personally and visit that branch so I get to confront these people who don't really get it. I love pizza don't get me wrong, but I don't have to be bothered each day to prove that. We're all doing our job but everybody should be considerate enough to get off the list if you asked them to.

Good thing we have sites like http://www.WhatNumberIsThis.com that provides Reverse Phone Lookup services so we can trace these pesky telemarketers and rid of them for good. We need to make sure those prank callers and unwanted calls get filtered. Stop getting those non identifying cell phone numbers now.

Petition for Habeas Corpus of ALABANG BOYS junked by CA

I just read on the news that the Court of Appeals rejected the petition for Habeas Corpus for the Alabang boys who are currently detained in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

In the 11 page decision by Associate Justice Monina Senarosa of the Special 13th Division Court of Appeals they reiterated that there is valid and just cause for the detainment of Richard Brodett, Jorge Joseph and Joseph Tecson because they have not finished court proceedings for the said men. The court was not convinced for the need to release the Alabang boys because it has been earlier given the same verdict under the Department of Justice because of the complaint of PDEA last month.

The said case is under automatic review of the Secretary of Justice and does not have binding, effective decisions without their approval. This procedure will be not done anymore if they force the court to decide on the case so most probably they would need to stay there for the duration of the case. Some things can't be bought by rich people huh?!

Plus Size

My Sister went into a store that specialized in plus sized dresses and clothes. Maybe it's because evidently nothing would probably fit her in the ready to wear rack that's available in the department store. I wonder why it's taking too long for her to get thin. She's been trying numerous diets and probably lost hope already. Good thing there's still plus size garments available for her.

I don't know when she'll be getting smaller but she really needs to do it as soon as possible. She probably weighs more than I do even if I'm taller. That's just not right because it may soon get complicated if she does get sick and have heart conditions later on. We even have history of diabetes and high blood pressure in the family so it's not just a 50% chance we get the same conditions. Think about it, if we don't think about our health this early we might end up shortening our life expectancy. It would not be a nice thing so see. It's a good thing even if we're this big, we still look good.

I'm Unlucky This Year!

I'm a little upset today. I guess I'm a little MALAS all of a sudden (Malas means unlucky in Filipino) and not because I am superstitious. It's just because I lost some of my savings from buying stuff, paying for the repairs of the car and other things people ask me for. I hate it when this happens but the Year of the Earth Ox just isn't doing me much good.

The Need to Look Good

I passed by a kiosk I usually go to when I pass by the mall. I almost got most of their earrings already and I've amassed almost every design they have too. I was only planning to buy the silver cleaner which I often use for my necklace and studs but I saw a new one on their shelves. I don't want to sound blasphemous but I got the one which looked like a cross. It was also oxidized which made parts of it black. I would probably get that paired up with another set of earrings because I usually wear different ones for the left and the right.

I try to look good at this day and age because I would probably need to do so because my wife might leave me if I looked like a Dad already ha-ha! I'm not that well dressed as much as I want to be but I try to at least look presentable. That’s why when I can wear fashion jewelry, I do it as much as I can. That also includes formal occasions because even if I wear a suit I would probably need a silver stud and a rock to slightly glisten when people look at me.

I’ll clean my other ones too so when I wear something next week I’d be able to cope with my attire. I will have to think of something new and better so I wouldn’t look rubbish come February. I just went to the mall this morning and got myself a WRT54G2... of course its Linksys heheh. Aside from that I bought a cooler and a usb mouse for the laptop. Now I can probably surf the net around the house! ^_^

I tried playing CABAL a while ago and was even able to get a level higher, but I noticed some lags while playing. I hope that is not gonna happen anytime soon. I would not want to have that problem other users are worried of. I wonder why I couldn't see any more wrt54g in the shops. All of them have this new model instead but I'm worried I would not have the same capabilities if I load a different firmware which I'm never gonna tell them about hehe.

Now that I have them rigged, my house is completely wifi now! I got it encrypted too so my neighbors won't get some hehe.

Boys Before Flowers

I've been watching this Korean version of Meteor Garden and the title seems a little wee bit different than the HANA YORI DANGO original Japanese cartoon everyone loved in the 80's. It's now called Boys Before Flowers and it seems they still are filming the episodes until now. I like the general plot of the story even if it was slightly disfigured.

Scenes were taken avast from Paris, to resorts outside the country and some rich South Korean neighborhoods here and there. I love the Taiwanese version of it so why would'nt I like this Korean version. Well, some parts were a little bit off like the lead star, she wasn't that too pretty. Unlike the popular San Chai and the other women in the Taiwanese version, this was a mere third degree of beautiful women. Although in the classy department, they are already topnotch.

I don't know what's wrong but in this version there is something definitely missing. I hope they come out with bigger scenes next time. I love the cars by the way! hehe

Argue with Me!

I know I haven't been the most pleasing person in the University of the East. I did not plan to even be one as a matter of fact. I usually am heard leading arguments here and there. I keep it a point that people hear what I'm thinking about in any topic or form. I stand on my moral high ground most of the time and deal with students, professors and politicians in my town. I don't care if they plan to beat me in a word war because I'm one of those people who can handle it. This is my forte and I keep it real.

I even joined debates, essay writing contests, general information quiz shows and have championed most of them. I don't want to brag about it but I handle my self well even if you ask some of my peers. A class discussion in history for example made me butt heads with 50 students. I insisted on my point even if I knew at that time that I was raising the issue incorrectly. I was just amused because nobody could disprove me even if they tried ha-ha!
