Spending Wisely

I manage my own finances and am pretty good in doing it. Maybe once a month I see to it that I take note of my expenditures and the funds that are going into my bank accounts. I have several savings accounts because that is the only way I can keep myself from using them all. I prefer a remote bank so I would not be able to go there easily and withdraw the funds. That is what I have been doing these past few years and it seems effective. I pay my bills outright and never miss any credit card payments because if there is one valuable thing I learned from my siblings, to take care of that first.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate credit cards. It's just that whenever I hear horror stories about them and the repercussions of bad credit, I just can't stand it. I hate to watch people destroy their careers and names because they did not manage their credit card debt properly. Most financial experts say that it would be better if you only keep one credit card. That is what I'm doing now with my current bank. I advise people who are in bad debt to get some way to consolidate their debt on instant approval credit cards. After fixing their finances, they can probably start paying it up until a manageable amount appears on their bills. The next time they think of spending, it should only be within their means. A bad credit standing would only get them in trouble with the law. I suggest they find someone who can fix their problems or get good financial advice when they need it.

The Oscars 2009

I guess I should let you into my insights in the not so recent Oscars awards night where veteran actor Sean Penn won Best Actor, Penelope Cruz won Best Supporting Actress and Kate Winslet won Best Actress. Of course Heath Ledger couldn't come to the occasion since he is with the creator already. If he did go there the celebrities would have ran away literally.

Heath Ledger's sister accepted the award together with his Mum, they accepted it in behalf of Heath's daughter which did not make an appearance in the show.It also was nostalgic to see the past winners of Oscars presenting the award themselves. I specifically like the only african american guy...ahmmm... Yeah it was Cuba Gooding Jr. who cracked me up on his speech when he was presenting one of the nominees. He's just funny.

All in all the Oscars was a great success with Hugh Jackman as the host. Most people did not know he could sing and dance. He actually won a TONY award previously for some stage stints he did so this shouldn't be that surprising.

The Duty to Look Good

I had a blast watching the Oscars a few weeks ago and I got to see a lot of fashion kills and steals. I even saw one actress that was so perfect looking, but when she walked and posed a lot for the camera it kind of turned me off. I didn't even know her name for starters but that's okay. At least there something mysterious about her left after all that wannabe model poses she did at the last minute that retracted all her good reviews press time.

I'm at home right now watching the popular "Date my Mom" program on ETC a local cable channel. I don't like the format but it's OK. Moms were making moves even on the guy which I saw a little inappropriate. Judging from the looks of it though, they were probably competing against each other but I saw one of them also competing with their daughters. She was not looking too old for the guy even so I think she's more classy than some of the girls in the competition. It's really nice to think that people look good and take care of themselves. We all get a little older but if we do, it doesn't mean we would not take care of ourselves anymore right?

Expecting Moms have a lot to own up to. Getting pregnant and all the hormones are probably enraging these celebrities too like normal people. Do you see them stuttering? Do you see them look bad each time they go out? I think it is their social responsibility to be at their best wherever and whenever they may be. Some of them wear the Beaute de Maman collection which everybody would surely pay attention to. They look good even on paparazzi lenses day and night because they choose to. It's a nice thing they know how to dress up when they need to. Their fabulous dresses and details are all available to the public too even if they are custom designed. Anyone can order now the collection from the best shopping destinations and retailers in your area but just make sure you find the same brand. It's just not right anymore to purchase cheap imitations, we all know that. I don't have anything to offer at you but appreciate what's gonna look nice when you wear it too!

Chirs Brown is Recording?? (O_o)

All along there were articles of remorse and thoughts of fixing things but the only thing he's worried about today is recording. Yes ladies and gentlemen, he's not dealing with court lawyers at this time because he's making songs... and lots of it. As if he's getting people to buy it. Oh come on!


He's also on a jet ski diet as he is being seen a couple of times already outside P. Diddy's mansion. He however is not seen with Rihanna but according to news articles he is trying to patch up things with Rihanna. As with people that know what will eventually happen in the future, I fear for Rihanna's life. I'm sure he's going to have to do more than that and get major jailtime to convince me, following their Grammys eve blowup I'm sure he's thinking he's going to get away with it and possibly avoid the lawsuits coming his way.

Chris Brown was seen recording late at night at Miami's famed Hit Factory studio. There has been no sighting of Rihanna at any of the sessions.

The Chris Brown and Rihanna Reunion

I like many of you am outraged about this supposed reunion of Chris Brown and RIHANNA. This was rumored to happen in Sean "P. DIDDY" Combs island mansion in Miami Beach, Florida. It is so huge that you could not see that much inside the property even if you had hovering helicopters or the most powerful paparazzi lenses in the world to get those free pictures.

I would be disappointed if this would just go to them making up and not have someone get jail time because obviously RIHANNA had a better beating than Chris Brown. If you were hit in the face and mouth that hard and you still choose to stay with that kind of man (thinking he's just a boyfriend right?) then you must be sick also. But of course if this is not true, Chris Brown must me doing a lot of negative publicity to tarnish the reputation of RIHANNA. She must then do something about it not just for her but the rest of the women around the world that fall victim to domestic violence. A simple sorry wouldn't cure the wounds he may have inflicted. This is definitely more skin deep.

My Weekend Plans

I hope I can get to rest and enjoy this weekend!

I'm having huge problems with my Linksys Wireless Router WRT54G2 and I'll probably get to only fix it by doing some things unconventional. But before I do that I will give the older firmware a try then maybe after that first released 1.00.0 is loaded and I've checked that the symptoms of getting disconnected at first use then I won't do that anymore because it may void the warranty. I know how to do these things for obvious reasons... and I'm a geek.

Aside from that, I'm going to be a little bit busy this weekend. A long time friend just contacted me (all along I thought she was still working in a cruise ship) because she's given birth to a baby girl I think. This is not surprising to me but my bestfriend in Bahrain was frantic about it. I just brushed her off because considering her age, I think its about time she does have one. Me? Maybe later on...I'm so much enjoying my half meant single life. Hahahah.

I'll be going out with mah friends this weekend in Laguna because I haven't been dipping in pools for the longest time. I don't know how to swim but my height got that covered I think hehe. I'll be enjoying this one for sure because my crush is coming along because I invited her. ^_^ Weeeee! Maybe then we'll talk about having a baby....joke!

Memories and Friends

I make videos for friends and I upload them every once in a while on community networks for fun. I see to it that they also would be able to see it even if it means humiliating them with our closest friends. It's just hilarious to see what they've been doing after catching a glimpse of it to the point of requesting me to take it down. Tough luck, I like putting them on the spot!

Someday they probably would thank me for it because I saved the memories and mishaps of our travels. It does not matter if it’s just a plain night of going out, swimming, eating, or on a huge event like the last picnic we went to. There was even a program we made for it and a lot of people from other organizations went too. I had a fun time with my friends from collecting these videos and I plan to show them compiled maybe a year from now to celebrate our anniversary. Would you believe that?

Sugarfree @ Eastwood City

Well, I just walked a few minutes from the office to watch Sugarfree at the Eastwood Center stage. I was enjoying their music with a 16oz Mud Pie from Dairy Queen. With all the bands in the Philippines, they seem good. I'm very hard to please of course but if the performance already gave me a few times to smile then its at par with the standards that I set. So they did pass.

I do hear their songs quite often and the vocalist was a lil funny because there were only a few of us that watched the show. He literally grabbed food from peoples table and had pizza while singing..hahah. That to me was hilarious. But to think about it, he was belting out a lot on his own songs. They were pretty high and I never heard him miss a note. If I can I'd probably post their pictures here soon. It's just that my officemate is probably taking more shots right now at the back stage and I had to go back to work you know. I only passed by heheh.. but it was fun! They were supposed to perform at 8PM but they arrived 10:30 PM so go figure out why there were only a handful of people left at the center stage. ^_^

Staying In Love

It hurts a lot!

I'm in the middle of things right now because this almost 9 month relationship of mine is on the rocks. I admit to be at fault on some degree but its a conscious effort for both of us to work on our differences and maybe sometime soon we would resolve it. I almost lost hope in love, but you know how your past experiences come rushing back when you need it? I think that happened with me and I try each day to cope with the depression, analysis of the situation and seeking a glimmer of hope that everything will soon be alright.

I met her through common friends in the Internet and I don't want to tell everybody that it's the the greatest place to look for love. For starters, I was only after steady dating and the consequences between my quest to look for that special someone ended on one fine drinking spree while out with our friends. Not really because I was under the influence of alcohol but maybe because we were both free of our inhibitions at that time. We became more serious after that and we really did fall in love. I'm starting to fix this but I probably need more time. It will all be better, I know it will. For you guys out there that think there's no hope for you to find a loved one, there are thousands of Internet dating services you can go to. Try out passion search that gives you the chance to use every medium imaginable to get hooked up on line. Maybe someday you'll be luckier than me and meet that special person that the one above made especially for you.

TURKISH Airplane Crashes in Amsterdam

When I arrived at home after working out in the gym, I passed by the family room and saw videos of another plane crashing in Europe. According to the news, there were about 135 people on that plane. When it landed on the muddy part of the landing strip, there were 9 people who died because the fuselage of the aircraft split in half because of the impact. There are also about 50 people who got injured and are all in critical condition. This may well be another one caused by birds getting caught in the aircraft's engine but since they are not sure yet, we all may have to wait for further investigation. What's sure is that this is not caused by any terrorist activities. The fatalities are also low because there was no fire when the plane landed even if the fuel containers of the aircraft succumbed to a very hard hit on the wings.

The pilots Hasan Tahsin, Olcay Ozgur and Murat Sezer were not injured. They did not also know why this crash occured because they were about to land when this happened. They did not have time to react because everything was over in about 10 seconds. Air pockets that low maybe? There is a lot to investigate about this incident. I hope the injured people are okay.
