Celebrating 10 years of Vibrant Colors are the folks from Hairfix and its mother corp Lifestrong Marketing Incorporated. They had us on the edge of our seats about the things they planned to do on this historic day, choosing to do it in SM Grand Central in Caloocan City with gorgeous Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo and the one and only Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual

Svenson Introduces "NexoHair" on their 43rd Anniversary!

This is the first time I've attended an event by Svenson. They're the premier authority when it comes to hair loss treatments in the Philippines. I won't sugarcoat things because I'm probably going to this place in a few years for treatment myself... and I felt there's no opportune time to do it than today.

Svenson is also celebrating their 43rd Anniversary. KIM CHIU at the Hairfix PROfessional Line Launch

 

It's been a while since I've seen Kim, last time was a press conference before the pandemic. But I've always taken an interest in everything that she's doing especially with her relationship with Xian Lim who's also a warrior (we both are from UE). Kim has always had that bubbly disposition, something that you can't really find much in the industry. I wasn't surprised to see her land big roles in a few series in ABSCBN, and as of recent, Linlang on Prime Video. Kim has been long gone with those teeny bopper roles and has already been the apple of the eye of various brands that want her as an endorser. And now she's a part of the LifeStrong family, and is endorsing the new Hairfix PROfessional Line.

Miguel Tanfelix Changes Looks on His 25th Birthday

 Miguel Tanfelix is officially 25 years old today. The young and prime Kapuso actor just finished Voltes V Legacy, and portraying Steve Armstrong was like a dream come true. We asked about how he felt after doing their finale episode and what this means for him. He says "I am a little sad about ending the show, but ultimately, it brings back how a family actually bonds over what they watch on TV. I am so happy about what Voltes V Legacy has achieved. It's a privilege to do a very popular show from the 80's and 90's, and how we got to San Diego Comic Con for it." Miguel also felt it was a good break for those who are all just usually watching on their phones.

They have a new movie called FIREFLY under GMA News and Public Affairs. This is directed by critically acclaimed Zig Dulay. In it, he's able to work with the likes of Cherry Pie Picache, Yayo Aguila, Alessandra De Rossi, Epi Quizon. It's about a kid's adventures and how he gets to see different people along his journey. Like a slice of life.

Since his birthday is coming up, they planned this photo shoot ahead of time. Miguel is actually turning 25 this year and with it, comes a lot of change especially when it comes to his looks and demeanor. No particualr theme in mind, but just envibe maturity... also show off his new hair. If you didn't notice, he was not able to cut his hair for a number of years for the continuity in the script and the show VOLTES V LEGACY he's in.

HOW HE PLANS TO CELEBRATE THIS YEAR

Miguel doesn't want the run of the mill birthday party to go to bars and celebrate it that way, and rather just spend time with family, friends and do outdoorsy stuff especially wake boarding. Something like a short break after the grueling Voltes V Legacy shoot that actually took 4 years to make and took a few months to have the public watch. Any place is fine, as long as it's outside and spend it with the most important people in his life.

 

Miguel told us that Isabel actually tried to do wake boarding, but it was just physically draining. Miguel of course just wants her to be there. Miguel also wants the shoot to be something he could use in social media. Though let me ask you, do you like his new hair? I do.

Miguel is careful, still reaching for his dreams. Although he went through a lot these past few years, we are seeing Miguel's steady rise happen before our very eyes. For now, he wants to just take a break and spend it with his family. He's been working hard and deserve it, to say the least.

We will see more of Miguel Tanfelix in his upcoming projects. Do expect that he's going to do more mature roles, exciting ones which he plans to do on TV, online and in film. Our boy is all grown up, and we can see how he's become a fine young actor who's very passionate about his craft. Watch out for his photos coming out today!

Truth be told, I think I'm suffering from hair loss too. It's a really stressful condition to be in especially if you just want to look good up there, and see yourself being the handsome self you were when you were young.

Spoil Dad with the Luminisce Pour Homme Kit

BLUE with Bianca Festejo Hub

I have been resting my hair for more or less a year now and it wasn’t easy. I always am fond of color but I had to tone it down as my Dad passed, felt it was a sacrifice of sorts and I pretty much have had my hair abused for several years because I know it would only take a few years before I’d have a bald spot somewhere. I’ve been sad about that but I felt if I stopped and didn’t personalize what my hair looks like, I’d be just like anybody else. I would hate it if that happens.

This boy right here is about going against the grain, to be different, one that would stick like a sore thumb in an ocean full of people who want boring, I am not against it, but it’s just not me. I have trusted my hair with a lot of salons and they pretty much made it awesome because of the nice treatments, fancy hair colors and just about anything on a color wheel, I’ve already tried. I visited this posh salon called Bianca Festejo Hub in Greenhills the other week because I wanted something different, a change was definitely called for so I asked their senior stylist JR if I could do something crazy, I’d want to make my hair BLUE. He immediately warned me about bleaching (a good point) but I have bleached my hair tons of times and I knew what I was getting myself into. I have sometimes experienced pain in the scalp in other salons so this was expected. They escorted me to the salon area upstairs and I saw this on the mezzanine.

It’s very chic, very minimalist and feels like the same aesthetics as those in Korea. They’ve got a powerhouse of people who know hair and color so I sat down in one of these comfy seats and began the process. I have already shampooed my hair prior to going here so a little prep work on my hand saved me a lot of time. They started bleaching my hair and I was expecting this is gonna hurt, buy they must have been using premium products that I didn’t feel anything at all. It was just cold actually, because the thing they used had mint on it. It was a refreshing start. My hair turned yellow after a few minutes, then they put in purple shampoo as well to lighten it even further. They stylist knew how to only bleach the top part and later my roots so as not to get my scalp hurt in the process. He knew what he was doing.

I was surprised to see @Earthlingorgeous there. We had burgers afterwards.

Almost done with the Blue shade, they also styled my hair plus a haircut.

Then after a rinse (thanks to the kind lady who did it for me), we went back to the chair and got the blue hair dye in. It didn’t smell at all and I just sat there for a little under 2 hours and I was done. See how much I’ve changed?
