HEAVEN PERALEJO Supports Responsible Entertainment in Latest Endorsement

Thursday, August 21, 2025

Viva Executives, including Boss Vic Del Rosario was at the recent PlayTime event as they launched their newest muse, Viva's brightest star Heaven Peralejo.

Krizia Cortez the PR Director of Pl@y🐯Tim3 says "It's a pleasure to meet you today, and to our new ambassador that could connect with our customers in so many ways. We are the country's most innovative platform, licensed by government agencies. We already have Bossing Vic Sotto, and have partnered with the biggest events like MMFF and Bb. Pilipinas, we are reshaping online entertainment."

Bossing Vic Sotto also sent his welcome message and said that Lucky the cat will take care of her. It'll be Bossing Vic, Lucky the Cat and Heaven that will be leveling up the happiness for countless folks who will be on the platform and site.

Heaven says "This will be not about just play, we thank everyone for being here, to all my supporters, this one is special, it's a community that we can play together. I am excited to enjoy and grow together!"

She adds "PlayTime stood out to me, it wants people to enjoy but also not to be reckless. Right now we are busy with I Love You a series. My idea about it is about balance, when to play and pause. We have to find joy in small things, that's my outlook. It feels surreal to be with my V Barkada, Boss Vic for giving us the platform to showcase our talent."

She also commented about working with Bossing Vic Sotto "I am so honored, a dream of mine to work with him. It makes me happy to know that I am promoting with him. If ever, we can do movies together. Boss Vic listens so it's not impossible. We have many shows endorsing responsible gaming, I'm lending my voice for that."

You will be seeing Heaven and her 3D counterpart on the platform. Head on to their official website and app because it's going to be fun with HEAVEN there!

PlaySafe Alliance of the Philippines Issues Statement

Sunday, August 17, 2025

With the recent changes on this topic and policies over the week, the PlaySafe Alliance has issued a statement:

They have specified the importance of regulation, protection and lawful procedures they follow especially for their sector who are licensed operators. They also reiterate their support for Bangko Central and their actions on consumer protection and removal of non licensed operators from pay platforms.

Here's hoping that these policies benefit the ordinary Filipinos as we've become victims to some and destroyed lives too.

Hear, See and Feel The Male Perspective on D**kTalk

Wednesday, February 22, 2023

There are surely a lot of talk about this particular original theater piece by Edwin Vinarao and Christian Clemente called D***kTalk. You can say it's a little more like V****a Monologues but for the male form. This is written by Benj Cruz, Ara Vicencio and is still in the script development stages but they gave us early access, not to tease, but just to get a little taste of it.

Edgardo Boy Vinerao says "It's something I was excited about, this is our dream project. This is out of the box, and we meant it because this is talking about it, d***s. It's pretty taboo here, but there are so many good things to talk about, and understand. You'll be hearing voices of it, just like each and the rest of us. Parts of the line they do mirror real life. They are just one powerful cast. Hope to see you at the RCBC theater when shows start in April.

Direk Phil Noble adds "This is our first time to showcase the elements and text of our actors, and how their characters evolve. The questions of manhood, machismo, how big the body is, or how huge their d*** is. This play wants to spark talk on perspective of one's manhood, on what he goes through just like women. The thing is like the heart, we need to take care of it. It will be heard repeatedly until it becomes organic."

Yes, the talk delves more into measuring one's manhood. Filipino terms for it actually sound more vulgar but they went ahead and introduced it to the audience, to later, have it feel more normal and start a little discourse about it especially amongst adults which the performance wants to reach.  There will be no mansplaining,or maybe a little, and a few instances of talking about IT and how it differs in every generation.

Jake Cuenca plays Peter, Mikoy Morales is Cecile, Nil Nodalo plays Rob, Gold Aceron is Junjun and Archi Adamos plays Doodz. They're in different stages in their lives, one is using his for work, the other for proof of sexuality, the other is wondering why it's shaped oddly. Then another one gets depressed if it doesn't work as efficiently, then another proves you don't need one at all. It was just the tip of the... iceberg and they didn't even touch on some personal issues, in jest, in angst, or just plain letting it all out on stage. In a Philippine setting, talk about this would really be unsettling for some but somehow, it needs to be said, it needs to be done so they're just doing it.

This would be really tough to pull for actors since it involves a lot of TALK. It's going to be doubly harder to also keep YOU interested in what they're saying, and make you feel uncomfortable at times, but still listen to their message (like putting their d*** on your ear) for entertainment, education or your own realization.

The 10 shows will be mounted at the huge RCBC Theater from April 15-23, 2023. This excerpt of D**kTalk already have had the press, showbuyers and theatre folks lead to the conversation, and there's even more they plan to do on the actual show. If you're a bit artsy and don't mind a little discomfort on the tĂȘte a tĂȘte you'll have with the cast, get your tickets via ticketworld.com.ph and see what nice things you should hear, see and feel at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium starting on April 15th.

Whether you are a man, woman, LGBTQIA++, as long as you are 18 and above, you be sure to connect with one or more of the characters and make the premise of talking about the d***s (or maybe show it if they feel like it) as casually as they can on the day of the show. This is produced by V-Roll Media Ventures.

How Does It Feel to "Live Like a Panda!"?

Sunday, February 12, 2023

Took time off the weekend and headed to a foodpanda event as they introduce to us a new campaign to encourage people like YOU to #LiveLikeAPanda. It's for the ones who have PAUssion for winning, who loves a challenge and things that matter to us.

Foodpanda PH's E-Commerce Lead Roj Tirona says "Today we will know how it is to Play Like a Panda. It's not with bamboos, or lounging around the whole day, but just taking time to those that matter to us, more of experience. We want consumers to know the things that matter to them, like food, groceries, things that make life enjoyable. Hopefully, once you play like a panda, you're gonna discover your passions much like Paupau in Foodpanda."

To start off, we got ourselves a few lanes and played bowling for a few hours. Some people started slow, but have played and got the groove after a few minutes. I played a few games and won tickets to trade for plushies, all in all, it was so much fun! When we got hungry, a simple order via foodpanda came in handy. Got myself a few ice cream halo-halo and much loved chow for family.

I think living like a panda seems easy for me. If it's bowling, arcade games, food, doing what matters to us, is what I've been doing in the last few years. panda has been a symbol for them, it's special because they eat whenever they want, sleep, and don't really care, they have inner peace by default and it's what they strive for in every customer. To have that freedom, to have the perks, pandas can inspire us to live a little. Pretty good thing no?

Oh and before I forget, they plan to actually have a few merch issued in the Philippines within the year. From plushies, to pillows, to mugs and different paraphernalia, loyal foodpanda customers will soon get their hands on them for sure!

For now, we have time to become more enthusiastic in things that we do. Being a panda ain't that bad after all. Take time to do what matters to YOU most!

Meet New Rainmaker Games Ambassador BARBIE IMPERIAL

Tuesday, December 14, 2021

The landscape of gaming has definitely changed in the last few years, and with the introduction of NFT's, blockchain tech and P2E games in the country. I see it still in its infancy and really, see why a lot of Filipinos are engaged in it. You've seen a lot of them on social media either as a flex or genuinely want to help others to take advantage of how to earn while playing.

There are actual FREE P2E platforms now like Rainmaker Games which gives access to hundreds of games of this type. It's certainly a good way to obtain earnings while playing. Rainmaker Games stemmed from a gaming guild, but now they've partnered with huge brands like Polygon Studios. Here, they can switch with different games, manage their finances, chat online and learn the ropes with the same platform. What better way to celebrate this growth but by getting a celebrity ambassador like gamer and actress Barbie Imperial.

She's streamed several games including CODM, ROS, NBA, PUBG and moba Mobile Legends among other things. She's also not a stranger to P2E and the world of cryptocurrency.

Barbie says "If you want someone to teach you how, Rainmaker Games have coaches so you could learn more about it. They also don't hesistate to teach you how to invest your money wisely."

If you want to know more about P2E and their plaform, you can join their community on the Rainmaker Games platform, they also have a Facebook Page at Facebook.com/RainmakerDAO and their discord channel dsc.gg/rainmaker or their telegram account t.me/rainmakergames. You may also visit their official site rmg.io, and as they say there, let's make it rain y'all!

PETA's Rak of Aegis Presented by PLDT Home Fibr

Friday, August 06, 2021

T
omorrow is a nice day to just lounge around and see RAK OF AEGIS. I've watched in in PETA Theater a couple times and every instance I do, I feel like it's a new show. Since the pandemic hit, it's been a little difficult for productions to stage these shows because they needed to limit audience in physical events like that. This time, they did it online (July 31, August 1, August 7, August 8) so you've got about 2 days left for the staging this year.

I'm watching it tomorrow via Premium Video on Demand service of Ticket2Me for only Php 1,000. It's a lot cheaper than tickets I bought in PETA a few years back. Thanks to PLDT HOME because they're one of the sponsors of the show #PLDTHomeForYourArts.

I'm excited! If you want to watch the show, visit ticket2me.net and get your tickets. There's one tomorrow and on the 8th so don't miss it!

Gaming with the vivo Y31

Saturday, February 20, 2021

I'm a very casual gamer and I think there are only several phones in the market that actually cater to serious gaming. It's a hard market to please because as much as you've loved the photos and videos you take, you've got to satisfy how it handles graphics, controls, how it responds to eye hand coordination and connect fast to the network. This includes a very powerful processor that can do all these things and perhaps, make the other functions work as well without breaking the bank. Aside from that, I think the pandemic made this hobby more of an essential, to you know, make it a little sane for all of us who's mental health is being tested. This vivo Y31 can sufficiently do these things and more. Aside from the processing power it has, it's got longer battery duration + aesthetically pleasing and functional.

The phone is equipped with the latest Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 662 octa-core processor and runs on Android 11 with the FunTouch OS 11 variety. It's got more than enough processing capability to support endless gaming hours you often do during these times. Knowing this also carries a 5000mAh battery feels so assuring that you won't run out of juice so soon while you're still in the gaming mood as it would last several hours with it.  Not only that, if you do run out of batteries, it's easier to charge back into action as it's capable of 18W Fast Charge which means you can do it faster, in less time. It's form is surprisingly designed well that you can hold it in your hand comfortably and grip it without worrying it would slip. That is design genius and I rarely see manufacturers pay attention with that. For gamers, fingers can sit easy on the sides and screen can still respond to button presses on screen so you get your wins easy.

The vivo Y31 also has a 6.58-inch FHD (Full High Definition) and Halo FullView™ display which makes your viewing experience even better. It feels immersive, easy on the eyes and doesn't shortchange you in that department. For photography enthusiasts, this has got a 48MP main camera so you get a lot of detail in every shot. If you're into selfies (8MP), this has support 2MP bokeh and macro cameras so those background remain creamy so I might suggest someone to take photos of you, it'll be way better.

If you're fond of Mobile Legends or Call of Duty Mobile (who's next season is going to happen soon), you might want to look at vivo Y31's way because it only costs Php 12,999 which is very affordable. You get get more information about it on https://www.vivoglobal.ph/phone/vivo-Y31/ or their official Facebook page (just search for vivo Philippines) or their other social channels. They are available now on the vivo official store on Shopee and Lazada, so it's easier to get it and delivered to your home.

It's nice no?

Every Brilliant Thing and Lungs for Sandbox Fest 2020

Wednesday, February 12, 2020

Two shows will delight you this March as Sandbox Fest 2020 happens this March 7-29 at the MayBank Performing Arts Theater as they feature Every Brilliant Thing and Lungs of which are shows written by Written by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe. EBT had around 23 sold out shows last year and several nods from award giving bodies. Teresa Herrera and Kakki Teodoro star on this show. It is also Directed by Jenny Jamora. Lungs on the other hand talks about the ins and outs of relationships. The show is Directed by Andrei Pamintuan and stars actor Jake Cuenca and Sab Jose.

Toff De Venecia says “There are so many shows happening on Arts Month, thank you also for braving the traffic. We’re here for two of our shows and Sandbox Fest 2020.”

Ms. Anna Santamaria adds “10525, 25 productions this year and this is our celebration for this season. We are proud to bring Duncan Mc Millan’s Lungs and Every Brilliant Thing. The topics are very relevant today as it is about climate change and mental health. We have discount passes, this will be at March 28 at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater and will only be available until February 21. See you at the theater!”

Jake says “Lungs was a whole experience, it took me a lot of time to get into his head. It’s acting in its purest form. I have been in relationships, it’s milestones, reading this is different now that I have someone with me. I was afraid about the script, you strive with perfection and I am so excited to go back.”

Sab Jose says “Relationships are hard and non of the struggles will happen if you fight for it. Don’t be afraid to love. After marriage I experienced how it is to live with someone, to quarrel, to love and how it takes hard work. This rerun will have more depth, it is a struggle. You choose the person every single day and I had a wider understanding about this.”

Teresa shares “After 23 sold out shows, I look forward to doing it after a year of hiatus. It’s such a beautiful material and you’re going to come in with a new perspective because globally we’ve been all through so much and we want to show it to much people. After a year, I got a kid. It is like living the material, I feel like it’s in our bones. It was personal, a topic to be discussed and it is normal to not be brilliant, but the dynamics of the show is interactive. When you do it, they’re not actors, that’s where the magic happens. You see the humanity, you see how to be kind.

You’ll be seeing something new as it is going to be in Maybank Theater and the Zobel de Ayala Hall in BGC. They are sharing the stage, smaller as you will be going to the journey with them. Discount rates available for the two shows happening on the sane day.

You can purchase tickets at Ticketworld. Head on to ticketworld.com.ph or call 88919999.

Fun at Moose Gear + Moose Girl Holiday PLAYCAMP

Sunday, October 07, 2018

Walked right into a fun afternoon with kids and their families as they all participated in the Moose Gear + Moose Girl Holiday Play Camp at SM North The Block in Quezon City. It's an activity they designed for kids so they get a chance to learn how to model, dance and discover their talents even at an early age.

This is Moose Gear's way of cultivating the kids passion and fun after purchasing their high quality and fashionable Moose Gear and Moose Girl's apparel. They just released their holiday collection and this is a nice way to keep in touch with their market, the kids of course!

During the event, they had professional dancers teach the kids some really good dance moves, wherein after, they got them all on stage so they can dance in front of their families. I saw some proud parents taking photos and videos of their kids, they were even happier LOL!

They are also holding a search for the MG Holiday Endorser and all you have to do is post a photo of your kids wearing MG and answer why they should choose you to be their Holiday endorser. It will only be until November 5, they will get a chance to win MG lootbags and Kidzania passes (see Moose Gear on FB for more details).

Participants of the PLAYCAMP also got to meet Goin Bulilit kids Raikko Mateo,John Steven Guzman, Marc Santiago, Sophia Reola, Ashley Sarmiento, Chunsa Jung, Nhikzy Calma, Marco Masa, CX Navarro, Jana Agoncillo and Yesha Camille. They had two batches of kids in one day and it was really a fun and good experience for the kids who joined the workshop. If I were still in their age, I would have aced this. LOL

If you want to join too, follow their posts because information is all there!

BINONDO A Tsinoy Musical

Monday, July 02, 2018

Rebecca Shangkuan Chuaunsu

When Madame Rebecca Shangkuan Chuaunsu went to China to trace her roots, she stumbled upon the story of a Chinese professor who told them about his greatest love and heartbreak. It takes them to the oldest Chinatown in the world, our very own BINONDO in Manila, Philippines.

I've been i n BINONDO quite a few times over the years and I like how it shows the Tsinoy culture, the delectable food choices, the nice olden buildings and its people. When I heard it was being done as a musical, I've had a pretty good idea how it would look like. In my mind it would look and feel that way too, but I watched this show - it had me crying towards the end of the story, I expected less, they have indeed given me more.

It started with a prayer, not required but it shows how deeply rooted Christianity is in the Philippines

The orchestra was phenomenal, I would choose the sets a few rows after the front ones because audio wise, I couldn't hear the voices as I was too near. I was seated beside playwright and famous writer Ricky Lee.

Albeit some creative freedom to make this for the stage, I didn't mind at all. They introduced us to the love story of Lily Dela Rosa and Ah Tiong. Lily is a lounge singer whilst Ah Tiong is a scholar who did his phD in the US, spent his vacation in BINONDO for two weeks finding himself falling in love with Lily before he went back to Beijing. The story revolves around an era where Mao meets Marcos, victims of situations they did not have any control with, what they were sure only of what was they love each other. I don't want to spoil the whole story for you so I'll concentrate on the actors performances because there are a lot of them that should be lauded.

The Binondo Arch with the moon in the background

Choreography was on point, thanks to Douglas Nierras and Powerdance

Costumes had hits and misses

The ensemble cast who played many roles, all were essential, although took some attention, provided entertaining comedy in some serious and tough times. The hits and misses we're just in the costumes as if we are going to talk about period clothing. The 70's should have stayed 70's, and the Chinese should have stayed Chinese, and not like French clowns which reminds me of some of the pieces here. This is a big production, upscale audiences could see the runs on panty hose, some sloppy adhesives on the microphone which would take away a lot of the actors look. I was worried about that. It demands so much talent and passion, they gave that solidly though, highly commendable.

During this show, lead actor David Ezra played An Tiong, I am a fan now. He took a while to warm up to the character.

This is also Carla Guevarra Laforteza as Lily, obviously an experienced actress

Noel Rayos as Carlos, I could see his veins come out of his neck while singing, that's passion right there.

David had real great pipes, you could hear him sing even on the back row

They had love scenes, I enjoyed that of course

He had kissing scenes, a lot more than Arman Ferrer according to the press I watched with that evening. Good job buddy!

Ima Castro is Ima Castro, world class!

Jasmine was okay. Played by Mariella Laurel.

Ruby was outstanding, no matter how short that stint is, she made a mark.

I had a wide lens on my ASUS Zenfone5Q so it was easy to capture the whole stage even if I was in the front row

BINONDO would be so good for Tsinoys and people who would like to see and feel love, have their hearts broken, hope, disappointment, and all the feelings in between. Congratulations to Rebecca Chuaunsu Film Production for a job well done on this original material, this was just awesome, sophisticated, full fo feelings and playful.

You may watch the show in it's last 5 runs. Binondo, A Tsinoy Musical happens this July 6 Fri- 8pm (carla / david / floyd), July 7 Sat- 3pm (carla / david / noel),  July 7 Sat- 8pm (shiela / arman / floyd), July 8 Sun- 3pm (shiela / arman / noel), July 8 Sun- 8pm (carla / david / floyd). It's worth to watch, I enjoyed it so much I may invite a few people on Friday to watch it with me.

It's sensational and beautiful, some flaws but a good story and interpretation. Watch it at The THEATER at Solaire in Pasay City.
