Smart Jump In Dance Off 3 Winners and James Reid

Pasil Elementary School, CSA Makati and PUP are the CHAMPIONS of #SmartJumpInDanceOff3 congratulations!

It was fun, it was exciting and it was grand. I couldn't even accurately describe what I saw earlier at the Smart Jump In Dance Off 3 held in Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

This year, they've got about 25 teams who came from different parts of the country to vie for the finals round of the Grade School, High School and College divisions. I had my bets, especially the regional ones which had really good production value. I also was expecting some of them to have placed higher but I also agree in the judges decision. They might have some technical things looked at which is probably different from an ordinary spectators point of view. These guys, gals and everything in between are very skilled. I could tell some of them probably didn't have any sleep and perhaps some of them also chose to practice outside the Araneta Coliseum lobby instead of just relaxing in the bleachers before the show.

They traveled far just to make it to this round and it would be disappointing if they didn't give their best. Though from what we saw that evening, they had fun, they gave it their all, and it would already be an honor to be with the best mega crews in the country. Thanks to Smart for getting these teams a venue to show what they've got. Now the Philippines, soon the world!

This was the introduction of the schools, it was a grand number and I didn't get to take videos of the Grade School and High School anymore because of storage in my phone. But you can tell how excited we were seeing these schools work together in one number.

I like the rest of the people in Smart Araneta Coliseum just totally lost it when GFORCE did their thing on the dance floor. They're definitely world class! How I wish I saw their gig with Yanis Marshall when he was here.

During the Grade School Finals, Pasil Elementary School took the championship with their spectacular Ninja inspired hiphop, crumping and acrobatics concept. Skill wise, you could see the difference of their performance compared with the other schools. I even forgot they were just in Elementary because from where we were sitting, they looked like veterans.

The Highschool Finals was equally exciting. This time, CSA Makati took home the Championship in this category. They invested heavily in precise moves, cohesiveness and doing it like they've done it a hundred times on stage. I was rooting for La Salle Greenhills though which got First Runner Up.

The college finals was equally competitive. I think UPLB expected to win but the last performer PUP did a spectacular job to take the crown. They all did good, but dance is a judged sport so aside from the text votes which comprise 10% of the votes, it's up to the judges to see who's going to win.

Meanwhile for those waiting for James Reid, they went ballistic when he came out of the backstage. Here's his performance of What Do You Mean and his dance of Sweet Love by Chris Brown. I think he did his best here because his audience were mostly dancers. He was super cool, and super hot at the same time! Ladies were screaming, I couldn't even get the audio right because of that.

Nickelodeon Nominates Chris Brown Still

Well known Kids network Nickelodeon still stands by its decision to push through with the nomination of Chris Brown despite the overwhelming calls and petitions not to do so in the annual Kids Choice Awards. Police say Rihanna was allegedly punched, bitten and choked by Brown last month.

Almost 3,000 kids around the country had signature campaigns to stop this from happening for obvious reasons but the network sticks to this nomination since it does not mean he'll win the category that also he's competing with Rihanna with his single Kiss Kiss.

I don't know what else would be kicking them in the long withstanding trial he's going through but if it was my decision, I'd probably pull him out since clamor for it has been given by kids who in all means should be the one deciding in this race. Remember, its a Kids Choice Award after all.

Chirs Brown is Recording?? (O_o)

All along there were articles of remorse and thoughts of fixing things but the only thing he's worried about today is recording. Yes ladies and gentlemen, he's not dealing with court lawyers at this time because he's making songs... and lots of it. As if he's getting people to buy it. Oh come on!


He's also on a jet ski diet as he is being seen a couple of times already outside P. Diddy's mansion. He however is not seen with Rihanna but according to news articles he is trying to patch up things with Rihanna. As with people that know what will eventually happen in the future, I fear for Rihanna's life. I'm sure he's going to have to do more than that and get major jailtime to convince me, following their Grammys eve blowup I'm sure he's thinking he's going to get away with it and possibly avoid the lawsuits coming his way.

Chris Brown was seen recording late at night at Miami's famed Hit Factory studio. There has been no sighting of Rihanna at any of the sessions.

The Chris Brown and Rihanna Reunion

I like many of you am outraged about this supposed reunion of Chris Brown and RIHANNA. This was rumored to happen in Sean "P. DIDDY" Combs island mansion in Miami Beach, Florida. It is so huge that you could not see that much inside the property even if you had hovering helicopters or the most powerful paparazzi lenses in the world to get those free pictures.

I would be disappointed if this would just go to them making up and not have someone get jail time because obviously RIHANNA had a better beating than Chris Brown. If you were hit in the face and mouth that hard and you still choose to stay with that kind of man (thinking he's just a boyfriend right?) then you must be sick also. But of course if this is not true, Chris Brown must me doing a lot of negative publicity to tarnish the reputation of RIHANNA. She must then do something about it not just for her but the rest of the women around the world that fall victim to domestic violence. A simple sorry wouldn't cure the wounds he may have inflicted. This is definitely more skin deep.

Chris Brown Gave Rihanna Gifts? O_O

Here I am at my seat wondering and thinking why Rihanna would ever accept anything from Chris Brown on her birthday. There were reported items such as a DIAMOND BRACELET, a NECKLACE and an IPOD Touch. There were also reports that said she accepted it, and she plans to even talk to him. O_O WHAAAT?! After a bludgeoned face, nose and mouth you even want to talk to him?! OMG! That's not what you call LOVE IS BLIND... for me its what you call S2P1D Love... well I guess everyone's going through that but if you already were almost dead for cryin out loud that's just not right.

Well this may be also a plot to make Rihanna to take the blame and bring Chris Brown's career back. I'm not convinced though, but if this were really true I probably ought to give Rihanna a visit and let a professional psychiatrist also look at her. Its a crime to hurt people, let alone celebrities who have lots of fans.

Even so, Happy Birthday Rihanna!

Rihanna today is turning 21, but of course since this horrible event in her life happened it may not be so happy yet. Millions of people were appalled when they saw Rihanna's picture that was posted in TMZ's website. I too am figuring out how can a guy do this to such a god woman as Rihanna. I wish she still could get over this and find a way to put Chris Brown in jail. With bruises on her face and a bludgeoned mouth and nose, I still find it difficult to accept he's still roaming around the US when Rihanna suffered that and almost killed her. Good thing no internal bleeding happened with that severe trauma she got from that event.

Reports from her family say Rihanna remains strong and doing well. I hope they get to celebrate with the family. She deserves a huge rest and probably a consolation of getting Chris in jail for doing that. I am just worried like so many people because if this happened to her, then how about the millions of women in the world. Let me just wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIHANNA!

"Sorry and I'm Saddened" says Chris Brown

"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person" says Chris Brown as he issued a statement through his publicist. He added "Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and-or reported in the media is wrong," and said he couldn't discuss that in detail until his case is resolved. I don't know about you but since he already issued a statement out to the public berrating reports on alleged assault charges against him he should have at least mentioned something about the incident being "ALL FALSE". Otherwise, everybody is going to think he really did it. Doesn't he remember Kobe Bryant? About him going the same fire under heavy scrutiny of the media over sexuall harrasment charges I think? Well people were also thinking the end of his career then but since Kobe was a bigger star then and people needed his talents in the court, he still got endorsements. If the video below is true that Rihanna got beaten up that badly then I'm sure no one will be able to forgive Chris Brown. It's not right to hurt women in the first place and if Rihanna was that badly hurt that she lost consciousness after getting beaten up then ITS REAAAAALY THAT BAD! Don't even tell me..coz I noticed he even mentioned people who probably had good reputation in his statement and even a pastor for cryin out loud... but that wouldn't take the stigma off I'm quite sure of it. More so if Rihanna doesn't return to work soon as she even postponed her concert in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia the second time around and even her other commitments. This will be a multi million lawsuit in the works. He's probably afraid that if he issues statements that are against Rihanna's Testimony then it would probably be a woman scorned case.

I mean who wouldn't be after all the allegations and soon to be cases that will be filed against him. He's just an upcoming star that never got it there yet and felt that he was but now that he may have a high chance that he did it then most probably his career will end here. Imagine the stories and the statement Rihanna submitted through police where she was choked until she lost consciousness. Not to mention the guy was supposedly threatening to kill her when that happened. This is just a huge mess he's in and most probably he's not going to do his concerts and commitments anymore. Breaches on contracts and no sponsors would probably spell THE END of his career.

News say that he's probably staying in the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas. Good hotel name to even have if allegations are true because that would mean the HARD FACED man stayed in HARD ROCK heheh. He was seen leaving an L.A. jail Sunday night after being booked on suspicion of making criminal threats to Rihanna. He had been spotted at a West Hollywood hotel and there was an unconfirmed report according to the article that he had flown to be with his family in Virginia. He's all over the US huh?! Where is he gonna hide next after paying that $50,000 bail?! "Chris is all right. He's a good kid. He feels very bad that something like this happened," the New York Daily News quoted Brown's pal and stylist Michael (Mike B) Barnett as telling People magazine. So does it mean it REALLY DID HAPPEN? hahah... sometimes, fish are caught in their own mouth. Cops are going to interview them again about the incident before formal charges are going to be filed.

RIHANNA Identified... CHRIS BROWN Loses Projects: UPDATES!

I'm enjoying this afternoon thinking about the same story I've been hearing and watching events across the USA entertainment scene. Chris Brown just apparently lost major deals with corporations. One of them is Wrigley's which supplies the world tons of chewing gum and bubble gum. Now he's probably getting it huh?!

There are also rumors of him having punched Rihanna. Oh yes by the way she was already identified a while ago by police who handled the case. There was always the "woman" monicker given a while ago because he was apparently given the benefit of the doubt because he's a celebrity and for the protection of the victim. Now that its out in the open a lot of rumors are coming out about what really conspired that morning.

According to people who have commented on my site, they heard that Rihanna had Herpes which is a very wild Sexually Transmitted Disease that prompted Chris Brown to punch Rihanna in the face in that particular scuffle. Even if, I would not really want anyone punching a lady... or Rihanna for that matter. That's just not right okay? That's just a pathetic excuse!

All along I thought this was a fairy tale romance between two Pop American Icons Chris Brown and Rihanna. I was thinking this was going to be forever but for Chris Brown to physically hurt Rihanna? I'm sure I'm not the only one enraged by this.

I watched the Grammy awards a few hours ago and the two did not show up in the Red Carpet or the awards show itself... I was thinking that they maybe were preparing for a surprise number... Boy are we surprised! Chris Brown was detained and just bailed out himself for a whopping 20,000 US dollars which is about 2,350,000 pesos here. Earlier it was just reported that a lady complained about Chris Brown hurting her but the name of Rihanna suddenly surfaced. For a boyfriend to hurt his girlfriend is just wrong! Really wrong!

Chris Brown has been dancing to fame and his MTV's, I know he's rich and can dance really well but I'm really sad that this has happened. I hope he rots in jail for hurting Rihanna. He was scheduled to be singing "Forever" onstage at Los Angeles' Staples Center, he was instead detained by police, being questioned for allegedly roughing up Rihanna. Brown and Rihanna became involved in an argument. After stopping his car, Brown and Rihanna went out and the argument escalated. Rihanna suffered visible injuries and identified Chris Brown as her attacker. Both were not able to attend the Grammy Awards because of this incident. Chris was also supposed to compete in a category with the duet he had with Jordin Sparks called "No Air". Rihanna was also supposed to be nominated for the duet she had with Maroon 5. How I wish I could make Chris Brown reget what he did to Rihanna. That's just sad! Grrrr!

If it rains it pours... this is just a great year for Chris Brown as he was just named Billboard's Top Artist for the year 2008. This was the same feat he did back in 2006 so it really should not be a surprise. Artist's rankings are determined by album sales in Billboard. This also include mp3 or digital downloads, radio airplay and Live audio streams. No. 3 on the list was Rihanna, his girlfriend that sang hits like "Take A Bow" and "Disturbia," which was co-written by him also. Top five was my personal favorite Taylor Swift. Kumagcow congratulates Chris Brown for a great year, and more record breaking albums next year too! ^_^ It ain't gonna stop there of course!

Rihanna and Chris Brown Live in Manila!

One thing's for sure! I'll be watching this show of course! I'm so ecstatic these world class artists are dropping by the BIG DOME. There are not much details yet but just to see it on ticketworld's website is a confirmation that this is the thing to watch out for. Can't get enough of Rihanna... and can't get enough of Chris Brown... They're probably the best thing since sliced bread! Hahah...

If I would not be able to watch this... I just would not forgive myself ^_^ See yah there ladies!
