BARBIE FORTEZA and DAVID LICAUCO Wishes Box Office Success for "THAT KIND OF LOVE"

Monday, June 24, 2024

Looks like the quest of finding love will be easy when you watch this new movie called THAT KIND OF LOVE. This stars well loved pairing Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, popularly known as #BarDa.

They've been really followed quite intensely during GMA series "Maria Clara at Ibarra", but this is the first time that they are doing a movie, under neophyte Pocket Media Productions Inc. The material was crafted by Ellis Catrina who has made this specifically for them. This is directed by Catherine O. Camarillo, who's first film under the same outfit "Chances are, You and I" was well received by critics for its very compelling story.

"That Kind of Love" will be featured  in Japan as a spotlight entry under the Jinseo Arigato International Festival. This will be held in Nagoya, Japan. While the local screening will start on July 10th which is a few weeks from now. They will also be doing a premiere night on July 4th, so make sure you go and support them (especially if you are a BarDa fan). Know that parts of the movie has been shot in South Korea. Both Barbie and David enjoyed doing scenes in Seoul where much of the shoot happened.

Barbie says "There were so many risks done in making this movie. There is pressure, much so because people are just starting to go back to cinemas. But I am confident about our project, our film, because who doesn't want to feel good? to fall in love? This is what we want to offer, and our goal is for you to fall in love with David once you go out of the theater."

David adds "We are pressured, but I know how good the material is. This is also directed by Direk CC. As long as we do our part in promoting the film, I know this will do good in the box office. I can control the things that I can do, so we just have to promote and help the movie."

People have already seen the trailer, and had really good feedback. The Director mentioned how this is not the work of one person, but a lot of people who did their best to make this movie what it is now. It's a quality film, and Barbie wants people to patronize the movie based on its merits, and because it is done excellently. She also hopes that Filipinos start watching Filipino made films first before they venture on watching other films from different countries. Here are parts of the press conference where we asked questions for Barbie, David, Ms. Arlene Mulach, Divine Aucina, Ivan Carapiet and Jef Gaitan who were there that afternoon. .

As of today, word has it that the fan base of both Barbie and David are arranging block screenings in different theaters nationwide. They are also asking Sparkle management for a little lee way in their schedules so they could attend the screenings as they happen.

I felt how happy Ms. Arlene was when she told the story of how kilig she got when she saw Barbie and David portrayed Mila and Adam. Will this perfect guy fall in love with the dating guru? Who knows! Best to watch it in cinemas when it goes out on the 10th!

PUREGOLD Showcases Romance Web Series at TNAP Convention

Wednesday, May 24, 2023

Just had so much fun seeing A LOT of Filipinos take the long way to enjoy savings at the yearly Tindahan ni Aling Puring aka TNAP Sari-Sari Store Negosyo Convention 2023. The crowd was no joke, bearing their own carts and brands came in tons to make sure the best deals for them were available til doors closed at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

We were also there to interview the cast of "Ang Lalaki sa Likod ng Profile", a web series shown at The Puregold Channel on YouTube. They've done so many entertaining shows there, so if you haven't subscribed yet, this may well be the reason to do so.

Meet Wilbert Ross, he plays Bryce, a gamer in the series. He's proven time and time again that he's just not lucky in love. Through suggestions from friends, he began using an app in hopes that his fortune changes. There he met Yukii Takahashi who plays Angge. Their conversation was light, a bit romantic, and while he was innocently describing his ideal girl, it was just HER.

Wilbert has really nice words to say about Yukii, who although only has been in the industry for about a year, has made work quite easy for him and the whole cast of "Ang Lalake Sa Likod ng Profile". He talked about it lengthily on this video, and a few things about pairings he's had in the past. Please, enjoy!

We also got some highlights off the press conference when they got on stage, it was nice to see Director and Producer Chris Cahilig talk about the current Director of the show Victor Villanueva who he says was a person he only dreamed to work with. Puregold executives also went there and supported the cast, telling how important the series they come out with on the channel to make sure their messages would come across different demographics especially the consumers who regularly shop at Puregold.

Aside from Wilbert and Yukii, cast members Kat Galang, Migs Almendras, VJ Mendoza, Ms. Marissa Sanchez,  Star Orjaliza, Moi Marcampo, TJ Valderrama and Anjo Resurreccion were there to answer questions from the press. It was fun watching them attest to the love story of Bryce and Angge because they too were a little giddy from getting teased on stage. People from all ages would certainly love this!

As you cans see, every Puregold Tindahan Ni Aling Puring event is jam packed like this! It was insane to see a lot of people in one place, Puregold is certainly doing good!

Producer/Director Chris Cahilig also announced a film competition which they are working on, they will announce more details about it in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! There's so much more than just Puregold being so generous every year. The stories they tell through these web series just make me realize how important it is for people to learn while enjoying a good show. Congratulations to the cast and The Puregold Channel, can't wait for the last episode to run so you can do a second season of this. I have enjoyed the story!

A new year beckons a new show over at the "Let's Get Together, Let's NET Together" Network NET 25. Aside from the new offered news, current affairs and lifestyle programs, a new sitcom called "GOOD WILL" will be premiered on January 22, 2023 at 4PM. David by the way has already appeared on several shows in the Kapamilya, Kapuso, and Kapatid networks so he's no stranger to these shows. It's also his first foray as the lead of the show, and he's done remarkable work in Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune and ABS-CBN's Love Thy Woman.

David Chua will play the character of Lloyd Patawad, born with a silverspoon, this spoiled bad boy (who also had a colorful share of relationships) wants to try his best to reach his own rockstar dreams. This takes a 360 degree turn when his Mom passed, then can only get his family fortune if he gets to do a few challenges set on the will. This sends him to realize a few things (including managing the Good Will resort), and make his life a whole lot better.

Kat Galang, Ryan Rems, James Caraan (an ensemble of great comedians), Ms. Marina Benipayo, and a lot of other artists who will be integral in running the resort.

This is produced by ALV Productions, Viktory 8Media and Dark Carnival Productions and will be directed by Ian Lorenos who also did Mano po Legacy: The Flower Sisters. This is also written by Joma Labayen, Don Santella, Kiko Abrillo, Aica Ganhinhin and Motec Migallen. It's also collaborative so the story concept and creative production are done by the team. Expect this to be funny, romantic and hugely good vibes. Again, this will be shown before Korina Interviews, you can always stay to watch the next one on NET 25.

Make sure you put this on your must watch list!

Singer-Songwriter Kenji Exaltacion Releases 5 Track EP Album "Liham"

Thursday, March 17, 2022

Looks like Cornerstone has a diamond in the rough - and he sits comfortably in their hands. A guy with a really good singing voice, answers smartly with each question thrown at him, pleasing to the eyes, full blooded Cebuano and songwriting chops that could rival the greats in the industry. He's Kenji Exaltacion, who previously was in a band... he's now a solo artist and admits he's starting all over again.

Kenji says "As time went by, my experiences have changed and I too have grown older. My experiences have become deep, I used to just imagine stuff but now I experience it for real. you can say it's truthful, the emotions become it. One of the songs I have here is "Done", my ex knows it, she heard it and it was towards our break up. She knows it was for her. Her reaction was a little quiet, it was a long distance relationship and I barely could feel how she feels because it was through Skype. I saw how she was a little teary eyed. I am thankful that Sir Jonathan really pointed the way for me to go to Cornerstone. They trusted me a lot. I want to work with Moira dela Torre and perhaps the artists from Visayas like TJ, KZ, I think we could work a lot because we could write in Bisaya."

In the 5 track EP entitled LIHAM he says "The process of choosing songs for this was a little hard as I had to present 12, these were the top 5 for it. I'm happy about their choice, and I did consider them as the top ones too, we were very in sync with what we liked. I want people to experience what I felt during that time, be in my world, my story, to see the world in my perspective and how I see everything."

He adds "I wanted to do songwriting classes before but I started early when I as in the 6th grade. I listened to Ed Sheeran and Coldplay and they changed how poetic I approached songwriting. They are my influences, I had to convert it into lyrics. I write manually, I couldn't write it on the phone because I feel it would be a little difficult to put in feelings on it. I auditioned in the past for an OST but suddenly got to be in the show, I'm sticking to what I do best, do songwriting and singing. I started playing the guitar when I was in the second grade, it was in school. After that, I played for a friend, I started singing when I was in the 5th grade. In high school, I sang in a competition for our section, and that started it all. Ever since, I felt I loved performing. As time went by, I just winged it, listened to songs and picked up styles... I adapted it to how I sing now. I did workshops in Star Magic years back, it was good but I had to prepare more for singing in the recital."

He also shared how his past relationships have made his songwriting process a breeze especially his recent ones that is the subject of one of his songs. The lyrics he put so much effort in is because his understanding and experience about love is deeper, and as a single guy he views this as good motivation for each piece he does. Under Cornerstone, he's very excited that he'll be performing on stage not with his previous band, but as a solo artist. He holds a lot of promise from what I've heard during the press conference, I'm sure you'll love Kenji, go stream his 5 track EP album on digital apps like Spotify. My personal favorite is the song called "Paraiso Ko". If you want to know more about him, follow Cornerstone's social channels as he's going to be featured there when events happen soon. This is under JUST MUSIC which is a sub label of the CS Music label.

MARKKI STROEM Depicts Delivery Drag Queen in "My Delivery Gurl"

Friday, December 31, 2021

Markki Stroem seem to be on a roll because right after his thought provoking digital series, here goes another one in Cignal Play called My Delivery Gurl. Thing is, he's going to be in drag most of the time and since it's a lead role, he's going to do most of the talking. Think of it as Carrie Bradshaw in a Philippine setting and a drag persona, you'll love Bianca D. Cignal Play has been really active in putting content on the app and this is exciting because it's a little light, certainly entertaining, and quite a lot romantic.

Direk Carlo Catu says "This was formed because I was inspired with RuPaul's drag race. This aims to bring hope, to make you smile, so you can wake up the next day and feel good because you watched something nice. This shows the life of drag queens, that they are people who care for others, they have a life that needs to be in the spotlight, at the end of the day we are human beings who deserve to be loved and appreciated."

Markki says "Drag is a full art form, you have to wear a lot, hip pads, makeup, and heels. This gives individuals to men, gays, lesbian, to anyone, to wear anything and walk in them. I got to walk in Arab Fashion week doing this, so it really bore fruit when I practiced for this show. It's great that I am able to play the roles very well, I would be fine with character acting. If I be typecast, I'd be glad to, we need people to talk for the community and it's important to have people be proud to represent them. It started with heel training, I needed to walk and watched training videos, I even walk in Eastwood with it on, I also talked to drag queens and do this, understand the history, the laws, Paris is Burning, RPDR and more, it just means we have to learn to love each other. It's funny when I post things on my social channels, there's clearly internalized homophobia and prejudice not just with heteros, but even in the LGBTQ community. Bianca will have a love triangle, one who gets inlove with the masculine one, one that loves my feminine persona. This is really going to be amazing. You are all loved in all ways and forms, you can be femme if you want, masculine, a nice body, but still do drag, you can be whoever you want. If you love yourself and understand yourself, all these words should not affect you. Be you. I really don't know what Direk saw with me, but I think this is because I played queer in the past and I am a huge fan of understanding the whole spectrum. There are other colors of the rainbow, it's diverse, learning all of that shouldn't be feared. I walked in 7 inch heels and did it now, you would think that would impossible in the past. Owning it and how there is so much repression, you just have to love it. I wanna be a voice for the LGBTQ community, to love each other for who we are. I think I even identify as Demisexual, we just don't have to put each one of us in boxes. Bianca has different personalities... one day it's Madonna, next day it's Beyonce, body wise it's Cameron Michaels, comedy is Bianca Del Rio, Talent is Adore Delano. I also have Iyah Minah who taught me how to be a lady and walk that way. Soon, I want to be a drag queen with a trans man partner, you never really see that much on usual shows."

Rocky Salumbides who plays Jakoy says "You have to watch this to see what I'm doing. Respect should be given to those who deserve it, we shouldn't be looking at their appearances. We can't judge people, I learned a lot doing this film because it evolves. Give them what is due them. I was chosen for this role and through script reading. While direk was writing this, I think he already was thinking of me. The character I played is really based on the script, I didn't want to step on the toes of the creative, you don't really have to overthink this because it's a beautiful script."

Victor Basa plays Boss Sam "I am the owner of the delivery service where Bianca works, there's a lot of illegal things happening but it'll all make sense at the end of the day. Markki is one of the best actors I've worked with. I feel I was handpicked, because of who I am in real life. I feel that's why I was chosen for this role and character. It's a challenge because I came from a long hiatus in acting, I had to work with Markki here because he's supported us during the shoot. I don't know if we will have intimate scenes, it doesn't need to be physical, it's the feelings, there's clear attraction and I think you'll see some of this in the series."

Markki's character has also adopted kids, which serves as his immediate family in the film. EJ Panganiban plays Raver, Pipay Kipay is called Dyosa and Sky Teotico plays Joey Silver.

Pipay Kipay "This series doesn't have any challenge, I am so good here, it's a major one, it doesn't feel like work, it's like a vacation. I love this and it's very close to me, I didn't have to act, it was just me. We all know the pandemic brought out the worst and best in us, we got jailed at home for years, I think need to leave the fear to love, I realized that I'm beautiful, I am much more, I am more capable, I am looking forward to see everyone to be brave, bold, life is short to be just sad, it won't happy tomorrow, it's a process and that's where we'll be ourselves so be patient."

EJ Panganiban says "I learned from Rayver that it won't make you less of a man if you support others, you can love them, be with them. I was really shocked in my first day of shoot, but it's fun and I played along this good movie. It's one of the aspect that you will love with me, even with my putok and shortcomings, you'll still love your straight ally."

The movie also stars Madeleine Nicolas, Lui Manansala, Allison Piñeda, Brian Black, Andre Miguel, Carlos Dala, Liya Sarmiento, Kakki Teodoro, Juliana Parizcova Segovia, EJ Jallorina, Lady Gagita and Maria Christina. This is produced by Cignal Entertainment and Epic Media. This premiers January 1st on the Cignal Play app. Just download it, register, then upgrade fo premium so you can watch #MyDeliveryGurl. You can follow CignalPlay social channels for more updates about this show. Go treat yourself from something absolutely fun and romantic!

JC Santos and Janine Gutierrez Star in TBA Studios "DITO at DOON"

Monday, May 24, 2021

Theaters are opening and TBA Studios is going to have March memorable with a new movie called DITO at DOON directed by JP Habac. It's a movie about a chance romance between Len and Caloy played by the two artists, of which one is a Political Science grad while the other is a delivery guy. They met online and didn't quite end in good speaking terms.

Produer Mr. Vincent Nebrida says "We're very proud of this film shot during the pandemic. It feels good to watch and it's positive about the situation despite of these things."

Janine says "We've all been written as artists about things that are not even true. I've learned not to be judgemental because we don't know them which is part of what's spoken about in this film."

JC says "This is my first time working with her as lead actors, but we have worked in a project where Janine has guested. This is the first time we had a chance to talk, to get to know each other as a person. I really look at her as a person, I don't really do much on social media so I don't read much of what is said about me."

Here's part of our interview on video:

The cast includes Victor Anastacio, Yesh Burce and Janine's mom Ms. Lotlot de Leon. Dito at Doon will be shown on theaters nationwide. This is under WASD Films and TBA Studios. This is an interesting love story, will they end up together or be different people?

 Go watch it!

Nico Nicolas and Tin Hammond Tries Romance on Wheel of Love presents "Weekend to Remember"

Sunday, April 18, 2021

It was a really fun evening to talk to the cast and production of the upcoming romcom flick Wheel of Love presents "Weekend to Remember". This new show was made and created by the almost the same people behind the hit BL series "My Extraordinary" which garnered a couple million views a few months ago under Asterisk Entertainment. The series will also be shown on the Asterisk Entertainment YouTube Channel starting this Sunday (today!) at 7PM.

Truth be told, some of the cast members also appeared in the previous show and we got the preview the pilot episode (which you will get to watch today). The show also has no specific lead stars, but more of an ensemble cast which would be quite good since they can cover a lot of things during storytelling. Wheel of Love presents "Weekend to Remember" will be composed of several love stories that talks about young love, hetero and gay relationships. In a nutshell, it's about a family where the Asuncion brothers will be involved in different connections that might all blow up during a special occasion done during the weekend, hence the title.

I got to ask a few questions during the livestreamed media conference yesterday and talked to Nico Nicolas and Kristine Hammond who will be doing the hetero type of romance in the story. They're pretty good friends in real life since they're both under Asterisk artist management and these roles would pretty much entail them to become even closer because they'll be falling in love in one way or form. For the two, doing the role of Miguel Asuncion and Jane Del Pilar was comfortable and felt like they were not working at all because the people around them was so much fun to work with. It took off the stress and craziness of doing the shoot during a pandemic and they felt quite taken cared of by the production.

Nico told us "I am really a very shy person, I'm not the type who would tell a partner about my feelings but more of just show it through actions. I don't usually say I love you, or I like you, I just do it if I can. When I met Tin for the first time, it was in an events place in Filinvest. She's very beautiful, her eyes are very attractive and so I didn't have a hard time showing how our characters would fall in love in this series. She's also very kind."

Kristine says "Before we even started shooting, in our short workshops we would often ask what we like about each other. I think we really started connecting from there, I'm really happy that he said that. He's a guy that you can talk to quite easily and quite down to earth. When I arrived in Asterisk, I wasn't able to talk to him as we had different projects and never had time to be together in a project. I already knew who he was because friends were talking about him, and I've grown quite fond of him during the whole filming. Yes, he is indeed boyfriend material."

I can't wait to see how their story will unfold as I think that will be done in future episodes.

The first episode that will be shown today will be touching on a pairing we've seen in the previous series "My Extraordinary". One of the BL stories will be done by Keijee Mesina and John Cortez. Their previous Isaw romance took a turn and became a little more about a boss and a kasambahay/assistant who's become secretly inlove with him. I bet, you'll love how these two will have their love story starts in the first episode entitled Arina Grande. Their funny antics and life like reactions to love like getting giddy, the banter between Keijee and the other help in the house would make this a good continuation of their previous love story. The two are fine actors and you'll be amazed how it'll become something that would span across pronouns or orientation, it will affect you because love is love. It's a hugely successful pairing and I hope there will be something more even after that. I really hope so.

Again, this series stars Nico Nicolas, Sam Cafranca, John Cortez, Hannah Balahadia and Enzo Santiago. They also are with Kristine Hammond, Orly Mejia, Sean Guyamin, Philip Dulla, Ayumi Takezawa, Daryll Rodriguez, Louie Caminade, Tysh Basa, Carl Williams and Keijee Mesina. They are also introducing the good looking Yam Mercado who will be playing an anti hero in this flick.

The series is written by Jaymar Castro and Jaja Amarillo. This is Directed by Jolo Atienza. Their original song "In love ako, In love sayo" sung by Camille Rose  Tarrosa is already out on streaming sites and apps so do that while watching the show. Again, make sure you're tuned in 7pm at the AsterisK Entertainment Youtube Channel in the next 8 weeks.

It'll be shown every Sunday so go fall in love with them like I do!

Romantic Flick "Dito at Doon" Deserves a Part 2

Saturday, April 03, 2021

Arlene Esguerra and Carlo Cabahug truly didn't start in the wrong foot. The pandemic put them both in a predicament that they didn't want to endure, much like us today who's been in our homes for a year or more already.

Love at this time? Maybe, but these consequences of their interaction on social media would say otherwise. Actually, an impossibility. During this time, Len got what she deserved, which is real talk from her friends. She spent most of the time talking to plants and making viral dalgona coffee, things we did during the start of the pandemic. Direk JP Habac framed this quite nicely, really close to reality. Len's Mom, her friends were essential to the story. They confirm things, they put things she does into perspective and get her grounded. Cab on the other hand was the typical Filipino OFW story, well almost. You'll see his story unfold during small talks with Len as they discover each other. They might need to drink every once in a while to release inhibitions, and that's kinda fun if you think about it.

I like the romantic angles, on how their once impossible relationship might become something. In an eve where people are supposed to be apart, here they are making landi and its a good thing. It felt good for the soul, but without titles, will that affect them?

This film touches on so many realities. It talks about our dreams, our loved ones, a little hope, some drama, home sickness, our self worth, anger and frustrations. What is there for us when all is in shambles?  Janine Gutierrez and JC Santos did good in this film, I hope they do a part 2 because honestly, the thing deserves one. This is under TBA Studios and WASD Films. You can watch it via KTX.PH, Cinema76@Home, iWantTFC, Upstream or Ticket2Me.

Kokoy De Santos Chooses Who To Love in OH MANDO!

Thursday, November 05, 2020

We spent this evening talking to the Director and actors of the upcoming series OH MANDO! which stars current King of BL Kokoy De Santos and hot guy Alex Diaz and lovely Barbie Imperial. This series will be shown tomorrow on the iWantTFC platform and if you haven't downloaded that yet, please do so you can watch this series which was shot before the lockdown happened in Manila.

During the blogcon, Barbie was asked about the challenges she had to go through during the pandemic and she says "The most challenging part was being away from my family and what's important is that I am keeping my job so I can earn for my family too. Until now I have family in Albay and Catanduanes, I am afraid of knowing what happened to them. It's different now, I don't think I would be able to go back home for Christmas because of the way things are. I don't even know if permits are needed, I'm a bit happy now though because my Mom and my brother are here with me." awww that's nice to know.

Barbie was also asked about what she has learned doing this role and if she had to choose a person to love in real life... and she says "For me, I don't mind if you're straight or not, as long as they respect me, I'm a bit bakla in real life and people don't know that. I am very open, I grew up in the streets, as long as I'm not being looked down upon I am okay. As long as that person likes you, love has no gender."

Alex was asked about what he learned from his character and he says "Oh Mando means love is love is love. It has brought us to a place where we always think about what other people would say, and for me, I have gotten to a point where I don't care anymore as long as I'm not stepping on anybody's toes, I'm fine. We just have to make sure we love as much as we can."

Kokoy says "I know love has no gender, romantic or not, you can't stop that because we all are human. Don't stop yourself from doing that. I have always wished for projects like these, something that has a twist, a romcom, so I did try out for it. This is so satisfying to do as an actor, to work with them all, I am so thankful for that. This is a family related series, my decisions also have them in mind so I would never do something that wouldn't benefit them."

Ruru Madrid and Jasmine Curtis for Cara x Jagger

Tuesday, November 05, 2019

I have been hearing about Cara x Jagger since early last month and I'm a little excited for my boy Ruru Madrid. I think it's high time the spotlight shines on him and this new play on partnerships with Jasmine Curtis. This is under APT Entertainment and Cignal Entertainment, and is a mainstream movie. One asks, who is Cara and Jagger?

They are lovers, but set in a different situation. It is character centric, not fortelling how love should be, but making it as hurtful as this, may spell that it's numb or being a martyr, but really, how would you stay in a relationship that is bound to fail?

Jasmine says "This is for the ones who choose to love, to those who don't know what to do on moments you're already hurting someone. Who knows, you may end up as close friends, or spark a second chance. Ruru says he got intimidated with me but we both overcame it and there is a level of comfort how he moves now. We have familiarity."

Ruru says "Sometimes relationships fail, but it doesn't mean you don't have to go through the experience to get over it. You need to love, we understand who Cara and Jagger is, for me, the script is good and Jasmine and I helped each other executing lines, even connecting our personal experiences, our past, the gravity of it. You choose the similar pain even if you haven't gone through it yet. I didn't know in the beginning how I would approach her and did research, we both did. It helped when we did the workshop because she gave me her trust, that I think made it easy."

Here's part of the blogcon on video:

Cara x Jagger is gonna be shown in Cinemas this November 6, so if you're in love or not, go watch it on theaters.

Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez for “If We Don’t Make It”

Tuesday, July 09, 2019

If We Don’t Make It, a movie produced by T-Rex Entertainment directed by Prime Cruz and written by Jen Chuaunsu. Lovers who have unfinished issues. Janine Gutierrez and Paulo Avelino are from different stations, it wasn’t an issue, they made it happen so now they are working with Prime on this project. Prime says “I like their previous projects and I have seen their work even before this was pitched, I knew I wanted to work with them. In this movie you will find the four of us to define this genre.”

Janine says “I am called AM in this film. I will meet Harold in college, messy but optimistic and he’s the exact opposite. I am not the typical good girl, she is a go getter. I could visualize how she is. If we don’t make it, maybe we can try again. I like the story because I can relate to it, you don’t even have to say it because they could feel it, to be heartbroken, subtle but real. In real life, you have to weigh how people feel and you don’t want to get rejected. Although there is always going to be a fresh take, a different way of telling the story.”

Paulo Avelino adds “My character here is a little different and hopefully we can finish this in the last quarter of the year. This isn’t a hugot movie, the treatment and the script is just the same with me, you love her but you can’t tell her, it’s a wasted moment, that you still don’t know if you would pursue it or not. My hair is for several projects. I have always had the same haircut, so I am trying to change the look, maybe soon I’ll have it all off. This movie though is a slice of life, in one point in our lives. I always check the material to make sure it is something that I haven’t done yet. I got the gist of what the outcome is, not to box myself but it has range of what people could do. I was getting indie projects a lot and got so excited when it is constantly evolving. It is deeper to your core and you have to bring out layers of your character. I made the conscious choice about 3/4 years ago. People are looking for something new, for quality.”

It will be something like post hugot era, another niche he (director Prime)would like to do. Jen the writer says “Prime and I wanted to do this, took bits and pieces in our lives and put t together so we could explore it more, a relationship-non relationship film.”

So we really have something to look forward to late this year, I hope they can make it fresh, new and relatable, parts of it is Prime Cruz’s life, part of it is fiction. It would be interesting how they would tell it on screen, especially since the girlfriend (not the ex) is the writer.

See it on theaters soon!
