Sueño de Espadrilles: Soles of Hope

Wednesday, May 02, 2012

Sueño de Espadrilles, one of the most revered shoe brands that's known the world over just announced the tie up that they have with the YesPinoy Foundation, serendipity at its finest.

The basic espadrille, quite comfortable foot wear from Spain.

Established in 2007, Sueño de Espadrilles introduced here in the Philippines authentic espadrilles from Spain. I always wanted to have one because of my Spanish lineage which hails from Valencia. This however were sourced from Barcelona, La Rioja and Menorca. They actually wanted to give back to the Philippines for the years they have successfully achieving phenomenal sales here and outside the country too. They wanted to help charities and consequently YesPinoy Foundation came into the picture. It was perfect timing and yes they are working together now through SOLES of HOPE.

Stacked up high in their store, they are available in different colors. Bright ones are the best! I got the red one. =)

Heels made of quality JUTE, a material they have been working on since its inception... you can't go wrong with these stylish pieces. The wedges are divine!

Men should not despair as they also have their own set of shoes at the Sueño de Espadrilles store at the Podium Mall.

I personally like this one which is reminiscent of Moccasin shoes. Khakit pants + Blue Jacket, this would be a nice ensemble for that!

The basics are covered, even the slippers too!

An organization founded by Dingdong Dantes, YesPinoy Foundation has always been a stalwart in making projects promoting values education, public school access, music and culture. They have been so generous in Sueño de Espadrilles so in their gear to genuinely help the underprivileged children in the Philippines, each item you purchase at their stores P100.00 will go straight to the YesPinoy Foundation. Since they have a lot of sales in a month, imagine how much help they will get up until July! They are even considering extending this until August. I can't think of anyone having this much dedication in helping the less fortunate, this is such a huge contribution to their cause and I'm sure Dingdong Dantes and the YesPinoy Foundation will put this to good use.

Thank you so much Sueño de Espadrilles and YesPinoy Foundation for helping the kids and their families have better lives!

The best, stylish footwear and YesPinoy Foundation will soon launch the SOLES of HOPE promo. I hope you guys take time to think about how you can help and get one of these shoes because aside from getting the great shoes, you are helping the YesPinoy Foundation help a lot of kids. Make sure you rush to the stores and get one.  It has sense, style and purpose. They are doing their part, you should too!

Are the soles of these shoes made of abaca?

No, it is made of their local fiber called JUTE but it is quite close to Abaca, even the feel of it.

I think this is one of the popular store for foot wear brands that are dictating the fashion quotient in the world of classic and stylish footwear.
